CHAPTER 523: CHAPTER 541: RECALLING SOME THINGS FROM CHILDHOOD

As she spoke, she tried to lift her wedding dress to take a look, but he abruptly picked her up horizontally.

She let out a small gasp, but he simply walked over to a nearby armchair, placed her on it, and then crouched down, lifting her wedding dress to check her shoes.

The eyes of the surrounding staff all fell on the two of them.

Some of the staff wanted to step forward to ask what was going on, but they were pulled back by the photographer, who picked up the camera and began snapping shots of the pair.

Meanwhile, Mabel Quinn hadn’t yet realized she was being photographed. She bit her lip slightly, bent down, and tried to adjust her shoes herself. Because her wedding dress was somewhat heavy, this action was a bit difficult for her.

"Don’t move, I’ll do it," Kyle Kinston said. "The buckle is loose."

Then, with one hand supporting her shoe, he used the other to fasten the buckle again. After finishing, he lifted his head slightly, just in time for Mabel, who was still bent over, to lock eyes with him at a very close distance. They exchanged glances, and then smiled.

It seemed that everything was nestled in that unspoken warmth.

The photographer was completely immersed in capturing the moment, continuously pressing the shutter and couldn’t help but exclaim in approval.

It wasn’t until then that Mabel realized she was being photographed, and she couldn’t help but feel embarrassed.

"Very good, that sense of harmony between you two just now was excellent," the photographer generously praised.

After finishing the part featuring both of them, it was time to shoot the individual sections. Mabel’s solo parts were shot quite standardly, but when it was Kyle’s turn, Mabel couldn’t help but marvel at how much better Kyle was at posing than she was.

He was just like a supermodel.

Mabel had seen those promotional videos of models before, but compared to Kyle, she still felt Kyle was better!

Just watching his shots felt like a visual delight; dressed in a suit, he could be cool and aloof, authoritative, commanding, yet also gentle...

Each shot of the session seemed to reveal to her various sides of him.

After finishing two outfits in the morning, the afternoon was set aside for an outdoor shoot. They chose a few spots in J City that weren’t very popular but had great charm, which Mabel particularly liked, so they were chosen.

For the afternoon shoot, Kyle changed into another outfit, a casual set—beige thick sweater, light white pants—which gave him an indescribable air of laziness. The props master also brought out a bunch of toys.

The aim of the shoot was to focus on childlike innocence and warmth.

This was also a request specifically made by Mabel.

Mabel changed into another short wedding dress for the shoot; the skirt was five centimeters above the knee, with ruffled edges, paired with pink high heels, emanating a richly cute princess vibe.

When Mabel finished getting ready in the babysitter’s car and stepped out, she saw Kyle holding a giant teddy bear, staring at it somewhat absentmindedly.

Mabel walked over and called Kyle’s name twice before he came back to his senses.

"What’s wrong?" she asked, noticing he looked a bit off.

"It’s nothing," he said, rubbing his forehead with his hand. "Just reminded of some things from when I was younger."
