CHAPTER 301: IT’S COMMON SENSE, YOU KNOW?

"Your name is Chuck, right?" Caelum asked the handsome blonde teenager. "Are you really the strongest mage among the First Years?"

Alex’s roommate had no idea why the elf was asking him if he were the strongest mage among the First Years. In any case, he liked being in the limelight, so he decided to go with the flow for the time being.

The elven lady wasn’t wrong. It was indeed one of the spells Chuck had learned from Lord Gilgamess during the Trial in the Heracle Mountain.

This glittering light everyone was seeing had no purpose but to add aesthetics. In fact, Chuck and Lord Gilgamess deliberately made the spell to make themselves look cool in public!

Truth be told, Caelum was also itching to learn how that spell worked. Undeniably, it made the human boy looked incredibly suave right now.

But the elves had underestimated how shameless Chuck really was.

Serenya blinked once then twice. Even she was starting to feel like the handsome human was indeed an eye candy.

"Enough. Come with me to the Training Grounds," Caelum said. "I request a duel with you."

"A duel?" Chuck crossed his arms on his chest and gave his challenger a smile filled with confidence. "I don’t mind having a duel with you, but there is a process for such things."

The teenage boy had become more shameless and quickwitted after finishing his trial, so he wasn’t fazed in the slightest from the challenge of the elven prodigy.

"Process?" Caelum frowned. "What process?"

"Well, since I am the strongest in the academy, shouldn’t you challenge those who are below me first?" Chuck answered. "If you are going to fight the King, you must first challenge the guards, right? Only by defeating them will you gain the right to fight me!"

Chuck could tell that Caelum wasn’t an easy opponent to beat, so he decided to just toss the problem to other people for the time being!

From the southwest of the academy, a flying creature appeared.

It was none other than an Eagle Parrot, which was one of Dim Dim’s friends in Fran’s farm.

The Eagle Parrot’s name was Captain, and it let a loud screech before descending from the sky.

When it was only dozens of meters in the ground, something jumped off its back and landed perfectly on Chuck’s head with a dabbing pose.
