The man leisurely set down the teacup, pulled out a cigarette case, and lit a cigarette.

Ever since Chi Yue had found out about Bai Qing and Lu Xuhui, she wasn’t as fixated on Fu Rongyin anymore.

Compared to life-and-death separations, she could accept this outcome too.

If some day Fu Rongyin remembered her, wanted her in his heart, he might come looking for her.

Chi Yue shook her head, "You go ahead, I have an appointment with Miss Lin today."

Lin Wanyun had sent her a message, inviting her to have a meal, which was timely since she had some things to clarify with Lin Wanyun.

Nan Yuan and Fu Hanyan soon left, and Chi Yue also set off.

Arriving at the restaurant, Lin Wanyun was already waiting.

"I thought you wouldn’t come."

Chi Yue sat down opposite her and said, "Sorry, I was delayed by some things."

Lin Wanyun nodded slightly, "That night, was it you who called Zhan Qing?"

"Yes, I believed it was the safest solution for you."

Lin Wanyun forced a smile.

She had been separated from Zhan Qing ever since they started discussing divorce, meeting like enemies. No one would think they were a normal couple.

"Yes. I know you’re in the process of a divorce, but whether you divorce or not, I won’t get involved with your husband. First, my mother has already passed away, and second, I’m married with a child."

The man in the driver’s seat turned around, who else could it be if not Fu Xingchuan?

"How did your chat go?"

Lin Wanyun answered indifferently, "Give up on that notion: she won’t be with you."

Fu Xingchuan sneered, "Fu Rongyin is getting engaged in three days, I don’t believe she can change that fact."
