CHAPTER 10: NIGHTMARE? OR PARADISE?

"Father! You should be more daring and embezzle more money from Azure Academy’s financial aid funds!"

"Listen to me, father!"

"Look, how many years have it already been since you started embezzling money from Azure Academy’s financial aid funds?"

"That’s right! It has already been so many years, and yet you still haven’t come close to even being caught!"

"Isn’t this proof that the procedures are extremely safe and you can start to become a bit more daring now?"

"Furthermore, it’s not going to be long until my first school semester at Azure Academy begins!"

"And with me as another insider to help you out with embezzling money from Azure Academy’s financial aid funds, the procedures that we have to go through to embezzle money from Azure Academy’s financial aid funds are going to become even safer than they already are!"

As the recording began to play, after the recording had been playing for a short while, with a smile on his face, Alan placed the phone screen in front of Charlotte’s eyes.

And when Charlotte saw that not only was there a voice recording of her persuading her father to embezzle more money from Azure Academy’s financial aid funds...

But there was also video evidence where her face and her father’s face could be seen clearly within the video...

Despair slowly began to appear on Charlotte’s face as she looked toward the empty floor and stared blankly at the floor.

After a short moment of silence, Charlotte raised her head, and with her eyes red, she looked straight into Alan’s eyes and asked indignantly.

"Why?! Why are you doing this?!"

"I don’t think I have ever offended you in any way, right?"

"After all, today is the first day that we have met with each other."

"Perhaps, you harbor some sort of animosity toward my father, or the Ael Family?"

"Which is why you are doing this...?"

While ignoring Charlotte’s questions, Alan muttered in his mind to the system to keep away the phone that he was holding in his right hand and the a4 papers that were on the floor into the storage system.

Immediately after, the smartphone and a4 papers disappeared and were successfully stored in the storage system.

However, when Charlotte saw that the smartphone that Alan was holding in his right hand suddenly disappeared right into thin air, she immediately became startled.

Right after, Charlotte looked toward her right side, and as she had expected, the a4 papers have disappeared too.

"Spatial object?! Or some kind of spatial ability that he managed to awaken before he had even awakened his class?!"

"These two explanations are the only explanations as to why the smartphone and a4 papers would suddenly disappear into thin air!"

"And if he truly possesses either of those two things... he is definitely not someone that the Ael Family can afford to offend..."

"Just who is he?! Isn’t he merely Anna Krex’s step-brother?"

"If I remember correctly, in the background check that I did on him, it was clearly stated that he was just an orphan."

"Unless... the identity that he is currently using is a forged identity!"

"Why?! Why would someone of his caliber want to turn my life to hell?!"

"What have I ever done wrong to him?! This is unfair!"

Upon coming to a conclusion on her own that Alan was someone who both she and her family couldn’t afford to offend, and knowing the fact that Alan possessed proofs that were able to doom both her and her father...

The feeling of sorrow suddenly began erupting from within her body, and she couldn’t control her tears as they began flowing out from her eyes uncontrollably.

Upon seeing that tears were flowing out from Charlotte’s eyes, Alan felt confused, and he could be seen asking confusedly.

"Why are you already crying? All I did was show you that I have proof of your evil deed, and nothing else."

"I don’t think I have said anything about sending those proofs to Azure Academy, right?"

"Also, regarding your questions..."

"Personally, you didn’t offend me or anything, and I do not harbor any sort of animosity toward either your father or the Ael Family."

"Ah! You must be curious as to why I have proofs of your father’s embezzlement, and even video proof of you persuading your father to embezzle more money from Azure Academy’s financial aid funds, right?"

After hearing what Alan said, the tears that were flowing out from Charlotte’s eyes had already come to a stop, and she currently had a dazed expression on her face.

Thus, when she heard Alan’s last sentence toward her, she could be seen nodding her head while with a dazed expression on her face.

"Well, you can’t blame me for being cautious toward you, right?"

"After all, as you have said, today is only the first day that we have met with each other, and yet, for no reason, you are acting so passionate toward to me."

"As a person who is unable to read mind, how would I possibly be able to know if you are someone who intends to bring harm to me or not, am I right?"

"So, to ensure that I have leverage over you and am able to make you confess your true intentions for trying to get close to me, I have to make sure that I have something on you. Makes sense, doesn’t it?"

"With the above intention in mind, it brought me to having a background check done on you, and the proofs that I managed to obtain were merely the results from the background check that was done on you."

After Charlotte was done listening to Alan’s explanation, Charlotte’s mind was currently in complete disarray.

"So, it was all just a misunderstanding?"

"He doesn’t intend to harm me or my father?"

"He was just merely being cautious toward me...?"

"Fuck! What kind of normal person would collect proof of another person’s crime just for the sake of having leverage over that person?!"

"If I had known that this would have happened, I wouldn’t have try to get close to this psychopath!"

"Furthermore, just what kind of background does this guy actually possesses?! All he did was ordered a background check on me, and just from the background check, he actually managed to obtain those proofs so easily?!"

"Wait... No! This may even be better for me! Isn’t he practically the perfect boyfriend for me?!"

"If I play my cards right, this situation may actually be beneficial to me!"

"Ah!"

Right when Charlotte was lost in her thoughts, she suddenly let out a cry of surprise.

And the reason that caused her to let out a cry of surprise was because...

Looking at Alan’s right hand, Alan’s right hand was currently squeezing onto Charlotte’s left breast.

With a smile on his face, and while squeezing onto Charlotte’s left breast, Alan looked into Charlotte’s eyes and asked.

"So, Charlotte, may I ask you, why have you been trying to seduce me with these voluptuous breasts of yours?"
