CHAPTER 106: NEWLAND KREX’S GIFT

"It’s good to finally be able to meet you, Alan." While hugging with Alan, Newland Krex said with a smile as he patted onto Alan’s back.

Right after, Newland Krex let go of Alan, then looked over at Sharon, Yura, and Yeon, then said with a friendly smile on his face, "Alright, no need to be so tense. Since you all are friends of Alan’s, it means that you all are friends of mine too."

"You are Sharon Sin, right? It’s nice to meet you. Please do give my warmest regards to your father, Dylan Sin. Rumors have it that your father is currently the one who possesses the highest odds of becoming Sin Family’s next family head. If your father do manage to become Sin Family’s next family head, since you are a friend of Alan’s, it seems that I am going to have to make sure to prepare a huge gift for your father and pay your father a visit." Newland Krex said as he walked over to Sharon and extended out his right hand toward Sharon.

"That’s right, I’m Sharon Sin. It’s nice to meet you too, Newland Krex. I will make sure to pass on your regards to my father." Sharon responded with a friendly smile on her face after exchanging a quick handshake with Newland Krex.

Right after, Newland Krex turned his body over to Yura and walked over to her, then extended his right hand over to Yura, "Han Yura, right? It’s nice to meet you. Do give my warmest regards to your father, Han Yongjun. I hope that your father will be able to soon recover completely from the injuries that he sustained a few years ago."

"That’s right, it’s nice to meet you too. I will make sure to convey your regards and well-wishes to my father." Faced with Newland Krex’s greeting, Yura responded just as Sharon did, neither overzealous nor cold.

Lastly, Newland Krex walked over to Yeon and greeted him, "Lastly, you are Dong Yeon, right? It’s nice to meet you."

"That... that’s right! I’m Dong Yeon! It’s an honor to be able to meet you, Newland Krex! If there’s anything that I can do for you, do feel free to let me know!" Yeon bowed as he shook onto Newland Krex’s hand, then said hurriedly while with an excited look on his face.

Evidently, Yeon took Newland Krex’s words seriously and was excited about the fact that he was able to become friends with someone that came from a top-ranking family, the Krex Family.

Faced with what Yeon said, Newland Krex didn’t give an answer and merely placed his right hand onto Yeon’s left shoulder, then pat a few times onto Yeon’s left shoulder.

Right after, Newland Krex turned around and walked over to Alan, and while walking over to Alan, he took a quick glance at the manager and raised his right hand and snapped his fingers at the manager.

Immediately, the manager walked over to Newland Krex and passed a rectangular case over to him.

"Alan, since your visit to my restaurant was so sudden, I didn’t have much time to properly prepare a gift for you. However, personally, I feel that you won’t be disappointed with what I have prepared for you in this rectangular case." Newland Krex’s place his right hand over Alan’s right shoulder, then handed the rectangular case that he was holding in his left hand over to Alan.

"What? You prepared a gift for me?! This is so kind of you! Newland, you honestly didn’t have to!" Upon hearing what Newland Krex said and seeing the rectangular case that Newland Krex handed over to him, Alan said while with a surprised look on his face as he took over the rectangular case from Newland Krex’s left hand, then continued on speaking, but this time with an apologetic smile on his face, "Goodness gracious, what am I going to do now? I didn’t prepare any gifts for you because I didn’t know that this is your restaurant until just a while ago when the manager told me that this restaurant is owned by you. If I had known earlier, I would have definitely prepared a gift for you before coming over to the restaurant."

"Haha, no worries, don’t think too much about it! If you really feel bad about it, how about joining my guild and working for me after you have officially become an adventurer? Although my guild is still relatively new, I’m confident in building my guild into one of the strongest guilds in Azure Academy!"

Upon speaking up to here, Newland Krex paused for a moment as he seized up Alan’s facial expression, and before Alan was even able to give an answer to Newland Krex’s question, Newland Krex stopped Alan from doing so and continued on speaking, "Alright, you don’t have to give me an answer so early on. You can slowly think about it first, then give me an answer later on after you have undergone the class awakening ceremony."

"Alright, alright, enough of this talk! Go on and open the case. Take a look at what I have prepared for you, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!" Newland Krex said while patting onto Alan’s right shoulder.

Upon hearing what Newland Krex said, Alan shook his head helplessly while with a smile on his face as he placed the rectangular case onto the round table, then opened the rectangular case.

As the rectangular case was opened, 9 small square bottles that had blue liquid within them and an orange color tiny book that had only a few pages to it were seen to be within the rectangular case.

"9 bottles of greater mana potion and a passive skill learning book!" Upon seeing the items that were within the rectangular case, Yeon immediately opened his eyes wide and exclaimed loudly.
