CHAPTER 74: XUE QINGYUE

"Fufufu~~~ that’s a great mindset to have, boy, that will help you when you are in the latter floors of the tower, remember that~" hearing the young man’s answer, the enigmatic beauty giggles before replying to him, the smile not leaving her face seemingly changing into a more genuine one now, compared to the polite one she has in her face previously.

"You looked into the other stuff I gave you, right?" turning a bit serious as she changes the topic, the lady asked with the smile still not leaving her face, her genuine curiosity masked with the seemingly guiding tone of an elder towards a learning junior.

"I did, thank you for those techniques, Miss..." responding to her question, Azrael nods before he expresses his gratitude, still feeling awkward not being able to address the lady with her name, such concerns being noticed by the enigmatic beauty who seemingly plans on dealing with this little trouble now.

"Qingyue, this old lady’s name is Xue Qingyue~" the enigmatic beauty stated with the same, charming smile on her beautiful face, her name making the young man recall a friend of his who came from the east, one of the most prominent ascenders on Earth now.

"That’s a great name, Miss Qingyue, my name is Azrael, Azrael Weiss" the young man replies, introducing himself as well with an amiable smile on his face, making the lady nod at him, making sure to remember his name.

"Alright, now that we introduced ourselves to each other, it’s time for you to focus on improving yourself~" after their little introduction, the enigmatic beauty, Xue Qingyue said with a subtle hint of urgency in her melodious voice, making the young man wonder why is it that she seems to be in quite the rush.

Not even curious about this old lady’s identity or where I came from?" hearing the sole question that the young man has for her, Xue Qingyue couldn’t help but wonder what his head is made of for him not to be even curious about her identity, after all, even just her beauty alone is more than sufficient to fascinate everyone she came across for them to try and fish for her identity, and yet this young man doesn’t even care about something like that.

"Miss Qingyue, if you don’t want to talk about that, then there’s just nothing I can do about it, similarly, if you want to talk about that, then I also can do nothing about it" Azrael replies, making the enigmatic beauty nod at his words as she finds his claim to be true.

"Fufufu~~ indeed~" she replied while nodding to his statement before she composes herself once again, already starting to explain what the young man wants to know.

"You see, to enter an Immortal Realm, one needs to meet to requirements, first is possessing Immortal Energy, and the second is the ability to control Immortal Energy, even if it is just barely..." she paused for a while before taking a look at the young man once again, scanning him from head to toe before she continues her words.

"Well, given your, or rather, your lack of techniques, I can assume that there’s no way you managed to gather Immortal Energy outside, so I can only assume the tower gave you either a skill or an ability that allows you to store and utilize Immortal Energy, albeit in an extremely small amount..."

Xue Qingyue starts deducing, her near pinpoint accurate deduction impressing Azrael quite a bit as he nods, confirming such speculation, this response making the enigmatic beauty smile as the satisfaction of getting something correctly with extremely lacking clues is an extremely satisfying thing to experience, no matter what level of strength one has.

"I acquired an ability that comes with the Immortal Energy less than two weeks ago" the young man supplemented to the deductions of the enigmatic beauty who is still thinking about something, his words making her nod in acknowledgement before the fact he just stated starts sinking in her mind.

"T-two weeks?" finally understanding such words, Xue Qingyue exclaims as she stutters in disbelief, wondering just how many more times this young man will surprise her with his abilities.

"Miss Qingyue, is there a problem?" looking at the dazed expression of this ethereal beauty, Azrael asked repeatedly for a couple of times before he finally got a response, the enigmatic lady clearing her throat before she confirmed that there’s no problem.
