Fairy Tail: I Don't Want to Be the Guild Master
Chapter 600: Encountering Crab at the Corner
CHAPTER 600: ENCOUNTERING CRAB AT THE CORNER
"This is," Laxus struggled to support himself, taking a tentative step back, only to be immediately pulled forward a large distance by the gravity.
Bluenote should have been able to roughly control the target, so the crowd watching from afar was also caught by the pull.
"Ah ah ah!"
Elfman and Evergreen clung to each other and hugged a tree, Gray froze his feet to the ground, and Natsu grabbed a large rock with one hand while catching Happy with the other before he was sucked away.
Juvia and Lisanna gripped the ground tightly, while Lucy and Wendy each hugged a small tree, swaying under the pressure.
The only one in real danger was Gajeel.
Hidden behind a tree, he was still dragged toward the black sphere. At this rate, the unconscious Gajeel would soon be pulled into Bluenote’s magic.
Laxus saw this clearly.
He stopped resisting and let the gravity pull him forward, golden lightning wrapping around his right fist.
Beneath his clothes, dragon-scale patterns appeared on his skin, and his fangs looked even sharper.
Bluenote was unconcerned. "It’s useless! Even lightning cannot escape my Infinite Gravity Field!"
Laxus charged straight at the black sphere. The gravity made aiming unnecessary.
His right fist blazed with golden light, like a spring overflowing with molten lightning.
"Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Roaring Thunder!"
The pure, heavy golden lightning poured into the Infinite Gravity Field, filling it so completely that it could no longer drag anything else.
Gajeel broke free, and the others escaped the pull as Laxus planted his feet firmly on the ground again.
Bluenote frowned and poured more magic into the black sphere to increase its gravity.
But Laxus only advanced faster, slamming his fist into the sphere.
Lightning flashed. Cracks spread across the black sphere’s surface, thunder rumbled inside, and then it shattered with a sharp crash.
Bluenote stared in disbelief. "My... Infinite Gravity Field... Ugh!"
Laxus’s fist slammed into his chest.
Bluenote spat blood and flew back into the massive pit he had created earlier, crashing into the opposite wall.
Cracks spread, stone fell, and Bluenote was buried under rubble, golden lightning arcing from the gaps in the stones.
"We won!" Evergreen cheered.
The others shouted in relief and ran toward Laxus.
Such a powerful enemy, if Laxus hadn’t arrived, none of them could imagine what would have happened next.
Laxus exhaled, this fight was not easy for him at all. "Sorry for interfering with the guild’s matters, but can someone tell me what happened? Where’s the Old Man?"
Everyone began to recount their encounter with Grimoire Heart during the S-Class Exam.
...
On the other side, Makarov, Carla, Lahar, and Mest in the forest slowly woke up.
All four had some injuries, but thanks to Mest’s quick escape, Makarov and Carla were not completely hit by that "Amaterasu Hundred Styles" without magic power.
However, Mest himself was in the worst condition now, having to be supported by Lahar to stand up.
Lahar was saying goodbye to Makarov. "I’m sorry, Master Makarov, the situation has exceeded our expectations.
Neither Grimoire Heart nor Black Wizard Zeref are something we can deal with, and Fairy Tail is the same.
Why don’t you evacuate with us? If we can find the communication magic crystal, we will immediately contact the Council headquarters. If we can’t find it, we can also avoid risk."
"Sorry, I refuse," Makarov said. "Tenrou Island is our guild’s sacred ground. There’s no reason to flee in disgrace after being invaded."
"But you just saw Hades’s power, it’s simply..."
Makarov gently shook his head. "Don’t underestimate the power of Fairy Tail. Even when facing the former Master, we will never lose."
Lahar was silent for a moment, then said, "I understand. If this is your choice, then I will try to contact headquarters as soon as possible to send you reinforcements."
"Reinforcements? To use Magic Force on our sacred ground?"
Makarov could imagine what those guys in the Council would do once they heard about Black Wizard Zeref.
"This," Lahar couldn’t refute because he also felt this would be the outcome.
If they attacked a guild’s sacred ground like this, it would be no different from directly declaring war on that guild.
The Council might discuss it, but after a difficult debate, they would likely approve the proposal.
"Leave, the sailboat we came on can be lent to you, but we don’t need reinforcements," Makarov said. "By the time you return to headquarters, we should have already won. As for Black Wizard, he is also our enemy."
Makarov was not sure if Zeref was as powerful and omnipotent as the rumors said.
But no matter what, anyone who harms the guild is an enemy.
Lahar and Mest silently left. They were going to check if there were any survivors on their ship, and then return together on Fairy Tail’s ship.
"Master, what should we do?" Carla asked. "I’m a little worried about Wendy."
Makarov said, "The Second Generation doesn’t know where he went. Let’s go to the camp and meet up with the others first."
At this moment, Precht was following the dark aura, searching for Zeref.
As he walked, he suddenly covered the eye patch over his right eye. "How is this possible? Even Bluenote was defeated? By those brats?"
Through his magic, "Demon Eye," he clearly saw that his proud Seven Kin of Purgatory and Vice-Master Bluenote had all been defeated.
"Makarov, that guy, really turned Fairy Tail into a formidable guild."
Precht pondered for a moment. At this time, if he used Devil’s Law...
No, that would not do.
He wasn’t sure if he subconsciously considered Zeref an enemy. If he attacked Zeref as well, things would get out of hand.
It didn’t matter if he didn’t use it. Precht was confident that no one in the current Fairy Tail was his match.
Feeling the increasingly close dark aura, Precht became more and more excited. As long as he could get Zeref, the Seven Kin of Purgatory and everything else, if they lost, they lost.
He walked out of the forest and encountered a dazed green giant crab head-on.
