CHAPTER 315: CHAPTER 295: I MEAN WAITING FOR YOU TO SLEEP

Jiang Ruan was at a loss for words. How could she not feel it? Since last year, she had already started wearing bras two sizes bigger.

Including some of the small dresses she used to fit into, those in size XS, she couldn’t wear anymore because her figure was too good.

Jiang Ruan blushed and glared at him: "You’re still laughing, it’s all your fault."

"Starting today, we will sleep in separate rooms. I bet it won’t stay like this."

With that said, she turned around to leave.

Bao Ye caught her wrist, pulling her back into his arms. He looked down at her, his dark eyes filled with teasing.

"Are you mad?"

"Why get mad? Isn’t this good news for you women, hmm?"

Jiang Ruan: "What’s so good about it? It just makes me look fatter."

"It’s not good at all."

Bao Ye clicked his tongue lightly: "That’s unusual."

"Don’t women all like them big?"

"Why don’t you like it?"

That comment felt off.

The tips of Jiang Ruan’s ears turned red: "Why does it feel like you’re making a dirty joke?"

Bao Ye raised an eyebrow: "Hmm? Did I?"

Realizing she misunderstood, he didn’t explain, but leaned in close to her cheek: "What were you thinking of? I was talking about your clothes."

"I wasn’t talking about myself."

Jiang Ruan glared.

He laughed mischievously, his brows showing delight: "You have a not-so-pure mind, Jiang Ruan."

Jiang Ruan’s face burned, her cheeks turning red as she retorted, "It’s your fault for not speaking clearly. Who doesn’t have a pure mind?"

After saying that, she pushed him away and went straight to the bed.

Jiang Ruan patted her cheeks with both hands; still so hot.

She simply went to the bathroom to wash her face.

After wiping her face with a towel, she turned around only to find Bao Ye leaning against the doorway.

"What are you doing?" she said. "Haven’t you been tired from work all day? Why are you standing here instead of sleeping, trying to scare me?"

Bao Ye didn’t really think that way, watching her little pink face, still a bit red, he straightened up.

"Waiting for you."

Jiang Ruan was taken aback, not expecting him to say that.

She instinctively replied, "My period just came."

"Just this afternoon, so don’t even think about it today."

She wasn’t going to fight with him over this.

Much to her surprise, Bao Ye just gave a light "Oh."

He curled his thin lips, his tone playful, dragging out the words to tease her: "When I said ’waiting for you’, I meant waiting for you to sleep."

"Not sleep with you."

"Tsk, Jiang Ruan, turns out you want it more than I do?"

Jiang Ruan: "???"

"Who wants that!"

"It’s your own words that are misleading!"

She got caught twice now by him.

This made Jiang Ruan quite annoyed; she threw the face towel into the trash bin. She was about to pass by him.

But Bao Ye wasn’t going to let her pass so easily.

He stretched out his long leg, blocking her way.

"Move." Jiang Ruan said angrily.

Bao Ye: "Why are you mad?"

"I was just teasing you, no need to get mad, right?"

Jiang Ruan: "I’ll say it again, move."

Bao Ye: "I heard women on their periods are all very agitated... ugh..."

Before he could finish, Jiang Ruan gave his calf a hard kick.

It didn’t hurt, but this was the first time Bao Ye got kicked.

His expression turned dark instantly.

Jiang Ruan’s temper flared up out of nowhere.

Bao Ye looked at her, his eyes unreadable, his emotions unclear.
