Falling for My Contractual Wife
Chapter 804
While running, Brian was always on the same line as Grace. He would nce at her as if he had something to say asionally.
Grace turned a blind eye.
After twops, Brian went to buy two bottles of water.
Austin drank water and continued running. Grace was about to chase after Austin when Brian grabbed her wrist.
"What are you doing?" Grace turned around and looked at him coldly.
"Are you still angry?" Brian looked at her deeply.
Grace nced at Austin who had run far away. She was a little worried. She shook him off and chased after Austin.
Brian put down the water bottle and chased after her. As he jogged, he said to her, "Gracey, I thought about it all nightst night. The more I thought about it, the happier I became."
Grace red at him. "Get lost."
"I know you''re angry. From your point of view, you''ve suffered unfair treatment. I gave everything I should have given you to Louise because I recognized the wrong person.
"Butter on, I thought that perhaps God wanted us to experience these tribtions as a test for us. Look, even if I recognized the wrong person, after going around in circles, we still got together. Don''t you think God had arranged it deliberately?"
Grace red at him again. "Don''t be glib in front of me."
"Gracey, I was wrong. I promise to be at your disposal for the rest of my life. I''ll do whatever you ask me to do. Okay?"
Grace slowed down. After taking two steps, she turned to look at him. "Alright, I''ll let you do one thing now. Don''t follow me."
Brian was speechless.
Sure enough, he stopped.
Grace caught up with Austin. After running two moreps, she went to the stairs to rest.
Brian walked toward the mother and daughter and squatted down to look at Grace. "Are you still angry?"
Grace turned her head away and tidied her hair, ignoring him.
Austin looked at her mother, then her father with big eyes.
She asked in a childish voice, "Mommy, are you angry with Daddy?"
Grace was stunned. "No."
Brian pretended to be aggrieved and looked at Austin pitifully. "Baby girl, Mommy is ignoring Daddy. Tell Mommy that Daddy knows his mistake and ask her to forgive
Daddy, okay?"
Hearing his words, Grace secretly stepped on him.
''He is so shameless. He only knows how to use our daughter to threaten me,'' Grace thought,
Austin looked at Grace seriously and repeated Brian''s words.
What else could Grace do? Of course, she was forced to forgive him.
She had thought about it a lotst night.
To protect the mountain they had met when they were young, he had specially contracted it and developed it into a scenic area.
Grace couldn''t remember how bitter she was when she first learned this.
Brian was not wrong. He had only done the right thing to the person who saved him.
Perhaps it was just as he said, these idents were fated.
So, when she woke up this morning,
she was not so angry anymore. When she saw Brian cooking in the kitchen, and the ce under his eyes had tumed greenish-ck from staying upte, herst bit of anger was gone.
However, she had always been domineering and refused to forgive him so quickly.
Brian could tell what she was thinking and tried to please her even more.
