~Spring's POV~

My breath shuddered. "Then don't watch."

"Not an option," he snarled softly, his grip tightening on my waist, pulling me flush against him. "You're mine."

I gasped, heart pounding so hard I thought it might burst. "You don't get to say that—"

"The hell I don't." His forehead pressed harder against mine, his wolf bleeding into his voice. "I don't care how many games you play. I don't care how many glow sticks or dares or fake smiles they throw at you. You're mine, Sunshine. And the sooner you accept that, the better."

"Jace, I've got other mates. I'm not just yours. I'm theirs too."

"They…" he said through gritted teeth, "are the only exception."

I hated Jace for saying it. I hated myself more for wanting to believe it.

Before I could form a response, his lips crashed back onto mine. There was no space, no thought, just the raw, dangerous pull between us, stronger than sense, stronger than control.

I tore my lips away from his, panting.

My chest rose and fell as I tried to catch my breath.

"We can't… Jace, not here," I whispered, glancing toward the bonfire's faint glow in the distance. "People will hear us in their tent. Someone will smell us if they haven't already."

Jace leaned his forehead against mine. His low growl rumbled through his chest, vibrating against me. "Then we go somewhere they won't hear."

Seriously? Couldn't he take a break?

"Not after the stunt you pulled with Real."

"The stunt I pulled, Jade? Who encouraged me?"

Jade didn't respond to me. She only shrugged.

For some reason, she was eager to be with our mates and was cheerfully guiding me down that path.

I shook my head, but Jace's words broke me out of my train of thought.

"The cave?" he suggested instantly, his amber eyes glinting with mischief.

"It's too far," I said quickly, shaking my head. "We'll be missed."

"Then the forest it is." His voice dropped low, carrying a promise that made my skin prickle.

Before I could argue, Jace grabbed my hand, tugging me along as he led me quietly away from the campsite.

My heart hammered against my ribs as we slipped into the shadows, zipping my tent closed behind us.

I masked my scent, as did Jace before we left.

Thankfully, the night swallowed us whole, the sounds of the bonfire fading as the forest's damp, earthy scent wrapped around us.

And then Jace stopped.

Without warning, he pulled me behind a thick, towering tree, pressing me against the rough bark.

His body caged mine in, his wolf bleeding into his gaze, burning red as he leaned down and claimed my mouth in a searing kiss.

I knew Jace was losing control. His wolf wanted him to take me, claim me and mark me. My little stunt was coming to bite me in the ass, but I couldn't complain.

I gasped into his mouth, clutching at his shirt as his hands slid down my sides, anchoring me to him. Every brush of his lips, every flick of his tongue, set sparks racing down my spine.

"Jace," I whispered against his mouth, but he swallowed my protest, his growl vibrating against my skin.

"You drive me insane, Sunshine," he rasped, breaking just enough to trail his lips down my neck, his hot breath grazing the sensitive spot beneath my ear—the right place for his mark.

"The way they look at you. The way he looks at you."

I didn't have to ask who "he" was. I knew it was Rael.

The thought barely formed before the sound of crunching leaves snapped me back to reality.

"Jace…" I breathed, trying to push him back, but he wouldn't budge. "Someone's here," I tried again.

And then he stepped into view.

Kael.

His piercing eyes locked on us instantly, glowing faintly under the moonlight. His expression was unreadable, but the tension radiating off him was sharp enough to cut through the air.

We broke apart instantly, my breath ragged, Jace's jaw tight.

"Kael," Jace said sharply, but I couldn't miss the warning in his tone.

But Kael didn't stop.

He walked toward us while holding my gaze. My heart thudded painfully in my chest as he stopped right in front of me, so close I could see the wild hunger darkening his usually composed features.

And then… he kissed me.

It wasn't tentative or questioning. He kissed me like it was our everyday normal, and this time he was going wild with the want to drive into me and call me his.

It was deep, claiming, and unrelenting.

A soft moan escaped my lips into his mouth, and my hands instinctively grabbed his shirt for balance as his fingers tangled in my hair, holding me in place.

Heat flared between us instantly, curling through my veins like fire.

Behind us, Jace let out a low, lethal growl. "Kael."

Kael broke the kiss only long enough to glare at him, his wolf flashing in his voice. "She's ours, Jace. Not just yours or Storm's. Ours."

I froze, when I heard his wolf's Alpha voice, my lungs forgetting how to breathe.

As if on cue, Jade stirred violently in my mind, her sultry voice spilling through like smoke.

"Yes," she purred. "Ours."

And before I could comprehend what was happening, Jade pushed forward just enough to release a wave of pheromones into the air.

The effect was instant.

Jace's growl deepened, his breathing sharp and ragged, his pupils blown wide as his wolf threatened to take over and have me.

Kael's grip on my waist tightened, his jaw flexing as his nostrils flared, pulling in my scent like it was oxygen.

I could feel the heat rolling off him, the tension coiling in his muscles, the restraint he was using to keep himself from taking me.

My heart slammed against my ribs, my pulse roaring in my ears.

This was bad.

Really, really bad.

I had to do something. But what could I do, trapped between two of my mates who looked like they'd devour me any second?

Jace moved closer, his lips finding my neck and resuming showering that spot with kisses.

Kael didn't waste a moment.

He captured my lips again, his kiss rougher, hungrier, his hands sliding down my hips, and gripping them tightly.

I was drowning.

Drowning in the sensations, the heat, the need.

My knees buckled, but Kael caught me, his hold around my waist, tightening as his body moulded against mine.

I could feel his hardness, his desire and need pressing against my stomach.

His hand slid under my shirt from the front, inching upwards, his touch leaving a trail of fire on my skin.

Jace growled, his hands moving lower, his fingers digging into the curve of my ass.

I moaned, the sound muffled by Kael's mouth.

My head spun, the world tilting around me.

I was losing control and losing myself in the process. And the more I kissed them, the more my body and will gave in to be claimed.

Kael's fingers caressed my breasts through my bra, and I sucked in a deep breath when he broke the kiss to kiss my ear.

Jace took hold of the opportunity and kissed me, his tongue tangling with mine.

I was lost in the sensation, the pleasure, the need.

Kael's hands moved to my back and before I could fathom what was happening, his hand unclasped my bra.

They pulled away simultaneously, their heavy, laboured breathing the only sound that broke the silence.

Kael held my gaze, his green eyes almost black with desire.

His hands slid up slowly, sending shivers down my spine.

He lifted my shirt up, exposing my breast in my not properly covered bra. He smirked, as if what he was doing earned him points or a gold reward, and took the straps of my bra, dragged it off, and exposed my bare breasts.

I felt the cool breeze against them, and it was the only thing that made me snap out of my hazy state.

What was I doing? What were we doing? Were they planning on taking me here?

I agreed to come outside because it was Jace, and I thought I could stop him if things were pushed too far.

But with Kael around, this sassy genius looked like he was way more dangerous.

My gaze snapped to the campsite where our tent was located.

What would Tyrion and Storm think? Would they be furious, thinking that I betrayed them for my other mates?

What if someone was watching us?

"K-Kael... J-Jace," I murmured, trying to make a coherent sentence but failing.

"We'll go back in a moment, mate," Kael whispered but I could sense the desire filling his tone as he stared directly at my breasts.

"B-but... we have to go," I repeated, this time my words a little less muddled.

"In a moment, mate," Kael whispered, kissing me once. "Just a little longer."

He moved forward and placed his mouth over my left breast, his warm breath sending sparks straight down my core.

His hands found the other one, and he kneaded them with just the right amount of pressure.

I moaned.

I moaned loudly.

I arched into Jace's mouth as Kael's tongue circled my nipple, and he took the entire mound in his mouth and sucked on it hard.

"You are so fucking hot," Jace growled, moving to kiss the other side of my neck.

Kael didn't stop playing with my breast, and the feeling was so intense, I felt like I was about to explode.

"God, we can't wait to have you, mate," Jace groaned.
