***************

~Spring's POV~

I wanted to respond, but no coherent words came out.

The heat between my legs increased, and the feeling was so intense that I wanted to touch myself.

Jace moved down to join Kael and took my right nipple into his mouth, sucking a bit hard on it.

My eyes shut involuntarily as another moan tore through my lips.

I was guided back, letting my back rest against the tree while my mates pleasured me.

Jace's hand found the hem of my joggers, and he quickly undid the rope, lowering it to the ground.

"J-Jace," I protested.

"Just a little more, mate," he rasped. "I just want to taste you."

Before I could protest further, he kissed me, hard.

I was so dazed and confused that I couldn't think straight. All I could think about was how much I wanted him.

"Just a taste, love," he promised, lowering himself until he was on his knees.

Kael moved to my side, pulling my red hair away from the nape of my neck and exposing my skin.

He lowered his head and kissed my neck, licking, biting, and sucking on it like he was going to mark me.

"Fuck," Jace cursed as he pulled my panties down.

"Jace," I breathed, knowing this was a dangerous line we were crossing.

He spread my legs, his thumb pressing against my clit, and he rubbed it in small, circular motions.

My eyes fluttered close.

"I can't believe how fucking wet you are," Jace growled.

He continued circling his thumb over the sensitive bud, and I cried out in pleasure.

I opened my eyes and saw him staring up at me with lust and desire in his eyes from below.

"You're so fucking beautiful, mate," he breathed. I did not get a chance to respond when he stuck his tongue out and actually licked between my shaved pussy lips.

A strangled moan left my mouth, and I could see his smile even from the angle.

He continued to lick, suck, and play with the bundle of nerves that drove me crazy.

Kael was still attacking my neck, biting and sucking hard. "You're ours," he breathed.

"We're going to mark you," Jace added.

His words sent a shock of fear through me, and I opened my eyes, the haze clearing.

Probably sensing how tense I was, Kael said, as he released my breast with a soft pop, "We should head back."

He kissed me, and Jace groaned in protest.

"Mm." Jace released my clit as he stood up while helping me dress.

He licked his lips.

I wanted them. I needed them.

Jade pushed against me, eager for us to claim our mates, but I refused.

We were werewolves, surrounded by werewolves, some of whom were Alphas. There was no doubt they could smell us, smell me.

"Let's go," I said, trying to steady my breathing as I yanked my top down and picked up my bra from where Kael tossed it on the ground.

"As you wish," Jace murmured, leaning forward to kiss me, and I could taste myself on him.

We snuck back into camp separately. I got in first. And when I was sure the other two had returned to their tent, I took my belongings and decided to use the toilet.

But just as I stepped out with my bath dish, I was met with a stern-looking Professor Mira.

"Going somewhere?" she asked sharply, and I froze.

I gulped, my brain racking for an excuse in case she smelled the arousal on me or my mates on me.

I clutched my stomach and nodded at her. "Just need to use the restroom. I've been having a bit of a running stomach, Professor."

"So it was you I heard outside just now?"

My heart did another skip or maybe a flip, but I managed to control myself not to give myself away too much.

Removing my hand from my stomach, I scratched my head.

"Yes, ma'am. I had gotten there when I realized I wasn't with my bathing things. So, I hurried back and was going to use the restroom."

The look she gave me showed she scrutinised me and my answer, but I needed to make it look convincing.

Just then, I heard a loud gurgling sound and looked down at my stomach. As soon as I raised my head and noticed Professor Mira was looking too, I winced and let my legs wobble a little.

"Aissh, it hurts," I muttered to myself, but internally, I thanked Jade for her help.

"Oh dear. So sorry, looks like you have it bad." She side-stepped and stretched towards the building. "You should hurry."

"Yes, Professor. Thank you."

Without uttering another word, I dashed in the direction of the restroom, entered and locked myself inside.

Jade assisted with some noise from time to time until I finally finished.

But all the while, only thoughts of my time with my mates filled my head.

I had no idea what I was going to do.

I finished and returned to my tent only for my phone to light up with a notification sound.

I checked to see it was a message from Storm.

Storm: I see you are having fun with your other mates.

Storm: Don't forget we have a bond too, or have you forgotten?

Storm: Let me remind you how much I care about you.

I didn't have time to read the rest of the messages before his caller ID flashed on my screen.

Shit!

What the hell did he mean by the message?

I was almost certain that he and Tyrion weren't able to hear what was going on. But the way his texts sounded, it felt like he did know.

Or maybe he was guessing, but it was scary nonetheless.

He knew it was the dead of the night, and Professor Mira could very well still be awake.

My stomach twisted as I accepted the call, and he began talking immediately.

"Hey, love."

I nodded, not wanting to draw any attention, and hoped he'd get the signal.

"I know why you're nodding. It's okay, love. I can see that you've had a long night. But it's alright, love; everything's going to be fine."

What was he trying to say?

"I was calling to check up on you, since I've been missing you all day and night."

Oh.

"I just wanted to hear your voice and ask you if you were okay. How is your stomach now?"

He heard. He heard my conversation with Professor Mira.

I almost sighed out loud.

"Better."

"That's good. You should probably go rest, love."

"Yes."

"Good night. Sleep tight."

"Good night," I replied, and he hung up.

I exhaled and put my phone away, not knowing what else to do.

I couldn't wait for this trip to come to an end. Then we could return to our normal lives.

The next morning came faster than anything, and I barely got four hours of sleep before we were woken up.

I saw Professor Mira heading my way when it was time to take our baths and prepare for our last trip inside Havenmore Headquarters.

"How are you feeling?" she asked me, her face etched with worry.

"Much better, thank you, ma'am."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. Don't worry, ma'am."

"Okay then. I will check on you later."

"Alright."

She smiled and left me.

I went through the rest of the morning without a problem, but when it was time for breakfast, I couldn't eat much.

Stares were getting too much, and I knew from whom.

By the time we left the restaurant, we had breakfast at—mainly because Professor Mira had seen what a disaster it was for us to cook ourselves—I got into the school bus, sat down, and took out my headset and a book to distract myself when a Student Council member, Mira, came to me.

"Seat's taken?"

I shook my head, and she eagerly popped beside me.

It wasn't up to a minute before she started asking. "Why are you quiet and not eager to sit with any of your mates?"

Her question caught me off guard, but I managed to respond quickly.

"I just needed some space to breathe."

She looked at me for a second longer, probably assessing the truth in my words. "Is it the food?"

"Huh?"

"Did the food not agree with you, Spring?"

"No, not at all."

"Then why are you not eating?"

"Because I am full."

"Are you sure? You can always tell me if it's something else."

"There's nothing, Mira. Just leave me alone."

I could see her brows furrowing and her lips twisting to the side.

"Let me guess, the dare of last night with Real?"

At the mention of Rael, I saw him walk over, heading for the seat behind us and held my breath.

I soon found Mira's eyes glued to me as her cheeks puffed. "So that's the reason."

"Shh."

I glanced back, hoping Rael wasn't listening to us, but as I did, our eyes locked.

"Morning, wild one."

"Morning," I croaked out.

I felt like slapping myself.

How did I forget? How did I not remember that he was a supernatural too, a vampire, no less?

His eyes flashed red briefly before returning to their usual colour.

"So, are you free tonight, or do you plan on spending the entire time with them?"
