Fierce Daddy: His Million-Dollar Sweetheart
Chapter 366: Switched to Him
CHAPTER 366: CHAPTER 366: SWITCHED TO HIM
The on-duty doctor didn’t want to disturb Jack Quinn now; ever since he was hospitalized, his temperament became peculiar, especially regarding the doctors entering his room, he looked at them as if they were thieves.
"Director Quinn, Ju..."
"Get out." Jack Quinn interrupted before the on-duty doctor could finish.
The on-duty doctor was so frightened that he swallowed his words but didn’t leave Jack Quinn’s room.
Because Julia Sinclair was someone Jack Quinn cared about deeply, and every doctor at Mount Cygnus Hospital knew it.
"Didn’t understand what I said? Or do you want me to fire you right now? Pack your bags and leave?" Jack Quinn was already very impatient, viewing the doctor’s hesitation as something ulterior.
He definitely thought the doctor was an undercover spy sent by his father, using an excuse to break into his room just to monitor him.
Jack Quinn loathed the on-duty doctor.
Fired?
"Director Quinn, I was wrong; I’ll leave right away." The on-duty doctor quickly fled. It’s known that doctors from Mount Cygnus Hospital find it hard to get jobs elsewhere; other hospitals reject them after that incident with Ivana Monroe. He still had a mortgage to pay and couldn’t afford to lose his job here.
The on-duty doctor left the room, returned to his station, and mumbled, "Julia Sinclair disappeared on her own. I already went to Director Quinn’s room to tell him, but he wouldn’t let me speak. If... if anything happens to Julia Sinclair, it can’t be blamed on me."

Outside the hospital, in the shadows cast by trees, a regular Land Rover was parked,
Hawk and a subordinate stood beside the Land Rover’s passenger side, a well-hidden spot hard to be seen yet perfect for watching others.
"Boss, didn’t you say that a lot of trolls would come tonight to assault a woman? Why is no one here?" The subordinate’s beady eyes darted around,
After hearing Hawk’s story, he was all worked up. Damn, why isn’t anyone here? Did those trolls chicken out?
Hawk, holding a cigarette, puffed smoke and said, "How should I know? I’m not among those cowardly bastards."
A bunch of cowards, not as righteous as the brothers on the streets.
Suddenly, Hawk noticed a shadowy figure in black, his eyes brightened, took a long drag of his cigarette, discarded it, and instructed the subordinate to fetch a machete from the car.
After speaking, Hawk walked briskly towards the shadowy figure.
The subordinate glanced in Hawk’s direction, noticed the figure, immediately opened the Land Rover’s backseat, where three more men were seated, and said, "Hand me a machete."
The guy in the backseat handed him a machete from inside his coat; he quickly stuffed it into his own coat and ran towards Hawk.
The person in black was Julia Sinclair; she had her hair tied up, wore a male wig, and had fake mustaches attached to her lips. Her eyes darted around like a thief, looking somewhat shady.
Julia Sinclair felt a sense of dread!
Where are the people?
Didn’t the group chat mention it nicely? Many said they would come, so why is no one here?
Julia Sinclair felt she had been played.
But she couldn’t bring herself to leave now; such a great opportunity to ruin Ivana Monroe, how could she miss it?
Julia Sinclair was full of anger; those bastards, promising to come yet not coming? And that group admin was utterly untrustworthy.
This operation was his plan; how could he not show up?
Julia Sinclair took out her phone; the group "Destroy Ivana Monroe" was as silent as a chicken.
She was extremely vexed, furiously typing on her phone screen: What do you mean? We agreed to meet at Building 1 at midnight, why am I the only one here?
No one replied to Julia Sinclair.
Everyone played it cool, remaining silent.
Are you kidding?
Talking trash online, acting tough in the group, grabbing red envelopes isn’t illegal. But actually going after Ivana Monroe? That’s criminal activity, and they weren’t stupid; they didn’t have a serious grudge against her. Following the admin’s lead and breaking the law would make them idiots.
Wait a minute....
"Kill to Pay" stupidly went ahead?
Oh my! Got kicked in the head by a donkey, brain turned to mush?
The silent lurkers in the group chat laughed sardonically while holding their phones in bed.
Seeing no response, Julia Sinclair was fuming, cursing aloud: "A bunch of deceitful bastards."
Julia Sinclair tagged the admin "Angel of Justice": Are you an angel of justice? Or a devil in disguise? You created this group, led the plan, now you tricked me into coming here and disappeared?
Jack Quinn sat in his hospital bed, watching what "Kill to Pay" said in the group chat, he frowned deeply, cursing that bunch of cowardly good-for-nothings who agreed to handle Ivana Monroe but didn’t go.
Damn it, just a bunch of online keyboard warriors, useless cowards.
He even gave out so many red envelopes to those cowards.
Yet at the crucial moment, they all turned into turtles hiding in their shells.
Only that idiot "Kill to Pay" went!
Jack Quinn himself acted cowardly, not responding to "Kill to Pay," pretending not to see.
Julia Sinclair was extremely aggravated, was everyone playing dead on her?
Her trembling fingers typed out an insult at "Angel of Justice": You bastard, so your family died and you couldn’t come, tricked me here? Fuck you!
Jack Quinn’s hand shook, his expression grim, nearly retorting to "Kill to Pay."
He couldn’t curse "him" yet; "he" was the only one who could deal with Ivana Monroe. Didn’t Hawk call him four or five minutes ago saying he was already there? Why hasn’t he seen "Kill to Pay," that bastard?
He better see him soon, hand him the machete, force him to finish off Ivana Monroe.
Julia Sinclair continued to hurl very unpleasant insults at Jack Quinn in the group chat.
Jack Quinn eyed his phone screen murderously; in all his life, no one dared insult him so crudely. "Kill to Pay" was asking for death.
Once the mission succeeded, he planned to have Hawk break "Kill to Pay’s" hands and tear apart "his" mouth.
A tall figure approached Julia Sinclair, swiftly snatching her phone.
Startled, she looked up to see Hawk’s menacing face, her voice dropped an octave: "You... why are you taking my phone? Give it back."
Hawk assumed she was a man, but upon hearing "his" voice, as an old hand at reading people, he immediately recognized Julia Sinclair was a woman. Hawk didn’t reveal this, only smiled maliciously: "Remember what you’re supposed to do tonight? Finish the job and I’ll return your phone."
Julia Sinclair was bewildered; soon, she realized she had fallen into a massive trap.
She shook her head in panic: "I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m just a passerby, you’ve got the wrong person."
Before she finished,
She turned to run but was forcefully grabbed by Hawk.
The subordinate ran to Hawk’s side, pulling out the machete.
