Fierce Daddy: His Million-Dollar Sweetheart
Chapter 381: Honey, I Love You So Much
CHAPTER 381: CHAPTER 381: HONEY, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
The two children were sleeping in the caregiver beds in the hospital, just a few steps away from Ivana Monroe’s bed. They slept soundly, yet it seemed they could hear their mother’s call, as both responded to Ivana in succession.
"Mommy."
"Mommy."
Leon Keane got up, passed the caregiver beds of the two children, thinking they had woken up. Turning his head, he saw the two children murmuring with their eyes closed.
This is the telepathic connection between mother and child.
Leon Keane’s dark eyes flashed with warmth as he gently touched the heads of the two children. Miraculously, the murmuring stopped, and they fell into a peaceful sleep.
Leon Keane carefully removed his hand and approached Ivana Monroe’s side. Seeing her pretty little face in distress, seemingly trapped in a nightmare, he leaned down, kissed her forehead, then pressed his handsome face against her pale cheek, whispering softly in her ear.
"Honey, don’t be afraid, the children are safe; no one can harm your precious babies."
In Ivana Monroe’s nightmare, she stared in terror at "Hawk" and "Luke Lowe," wielding sharp machetes. They were ruthlessly chasing the two children, as Ivana screamed hysterically, while the nearby "Julia Sinclair" let out sinister laughter.
"Julia Sinclair" said, "Give up, Ivana, you can’t save your little brats. Look how they are going to die young and meet the Grim Reaper. How can you, as their mother, live on your own? You might as well die with them."
Ivana Monroe furiously grasped "Julia Sinclair’s" neck, trying to threaten "Hawk" and "Luke Lowe" through her. But "Julia Sinclair" suddenly vanished, leaving her holding empty air.
Ivana Monroe was in extreme pain and despair, wishing someone could come from the heavens to save her two children. If such a person existed, she vowed to repay them eternally.
Miraculously, someone descended from the heavens.
In her desperation, Ivana saw Leon Keane, like a god, defeating "Hawk" and "Luke Lowe," rescuing the two children and bringing them to her side.
The two children rushed into her embrace, while Leon Keane looked at her with gentle eyes.
"Honey, don’t be afraid, the children are safe; no one can harm your precious babies."
Tears rolled down Ivana Monroe’s cheeks.
She heard Leon Keane’s sigh in her ear.
"Why are you crying?"
Ivana Monroe suddenly opened her eyes, feeling someone close to her face. She turned and saw Leon Keane’s outrageously handsome face beside her pillow. She suddenly reached out, hugged him, and buried her face in his neck, crying softly.
"Watch your foot."
Leon Keane felt a bit guilty for waking Ivana, surprised by her sudden reaction. After a pause, he quickly reminded her to be careful not to injure the foot that had just undergone surgery.
Ivana Monroe couldn’t care less; in her nightmare, she felt truly broken. That nightmare mirrored reality, and now she simply wanted to hold him tightly, absorbing the warmth from Leon Keane.
In her nightmare, it was too cold...
Leon Keane lay sideways, not daring to move, allowing her to hold him like that, one hand placed on her injured thigh, preventing her from moving and possibly injuring the foot again.
After a long while.
Ivana Monroe’s emotions gradually stabilized. She left his neck and buried her face in the blanket, quietly wiping her tears, murmuring apologetically, "Sorry, I lost my composure just now."
Leon Keane let out a low chuckle above her head, "We are husband and wife; any moment of lost composure is normal to me. Don’t say sorry like that again. I’d rather hear you say... Honey, I love you so much."
Honey, I love you so much?
Ivana Monroe’s face turned red under the blanket. That was... too direct, wasn’t it?

Ivy Linden drove to her mother’s house.
Her mother was not home; Mr. Linden was boiling water.
Mr. Linden was surprised to see Ivy Linden return, "Ivy, why did you suddenly come back? You didn’t call ahead to let me know?"
Mr. Linden liked to prepare a table full of Ivy Linden’s favorite dishes when she visited. Ivy used to call ahead whenever she came back.
It’s almost eleven now, too late to prepare those dishes.
Ivy Linden glanced inside the house, "Where’s Mom?"
Mr. Linden said, "She went to the medicinal field! Hmm, she’s been there for almost two hours; why isn’t she back? I’ll call her."
Mr. Linden picked up his reading glasses from the table, pulled out his phone, and dialed his wife’s number.
The call connected.
"Why haven’t you come back yet? Is something wrong? What’s the matter? Come back quickly; Ivy is home," Mr. Linden said.
Ending the call.
Mr. Linden said to Ivy Linden, "Your mother will be back soon. Are you thirsty, Ivy? Honey water or lemon water?"
Ivy Linden liked both honey water and lemon water but disliked having honey and lemon mixed. This habit, Mr. Linden always remembered.
Ivy Linden said, "Either is fine."
Mr. Linden went to the fridge to get honey, preparing drinks for Ivy Linden.
Meanwhile, over there.
Mrs. Linden said to Luke Lowe, "My daughter is home now. I’ll go get the money for you."
Luke Lowe’s stump ached intermittently, and upon hearing Mrs. Linden’s words, he jumped up, "I’ll go with you."
Mrs. Linden’s face changed, and she immediately said, "No."
Luke Lowe looked at Mrs. Linden suspiciously, "Why not? Are you trying to secretly call the police?"
Mrs. Linden shook her head, "I’m not."
Luke Lowe, viciously said, "Cut the crap. I’m going with you, or I’ll kill that old hag right now and then slaughter your whole family with a machete."
When it comes to money, Luke Lowe is a terrifying demon.
Mrs. Linden’s face turned pale, seeing Grandma Lowe’s heartbroken expression, she cursed Luke Lowe as a beast in her heart.
No alternatives left, Mrs. Linden was forced by Luke Lowe to her doorstep and, fearing he might harm her daughter, she said to him, "We are at my house. You shouldn’t go inside like this; I’ll get the money for you."
Luke Lowe gripped the chopping knife he got from Grandma Lowe in his left hand, and viciously pointed at Mrs. Linden, "Like this? What do you mean ’like this’? Damn it, go inside."
Seeing Luke Lowe’s malicious appearance, Mrs. Linden was horrified and suddenly regretted calling Ivy back. If this beast harmed Ivy, she’d never forgive herself.
Ivy Linden, inside the house, heard the commotion outside.
She put down her honey water and went outside, seeing her mother return and the happiness shining in her eyes, "Mom."
Mrs. Linden’s expression was not good.
Ivy Linden glanced behind her mother at "Luke Lowe," furrowing her brows. Could this be the person her mom wanted her to hand the money to? She felt this person couldn’t be a good one.
