CHAPTER 528: CHAPTER 528: ARE YOU HARRISON HORN?

Ivana felt an urge to punch someone. This scumbag, Harrison Horn, was watching such stuff in the office? Absolutely disgusting.

How could Leon Keane bring someone so sleazy into the company? And even promote him to the position of Finance Manager?

"Ian, stop."

Ivana had to tell Ian Keane to leave it be. Whether what this man said was true or false, she wouldn’t risk it all on her son.

But that didn’t mean she didn’t have other ways.

"Mommy, I’m just about to find it."

Ian stopped his fingers obediently, but he didn’t want to give up just like that.

Ivana walked over, patted Ian on the head, and smiled, "Don’t be in a rush. We’ll take the computer back and leave Harrison no room to deny."

The laptop was on the desk; it was too easy to take away.

"Yeah, Mommy’s right."

Ian moved the mouse with his little hand and shut down the computer.

The man didn’t even have time to breathe a sigh of relief before his heart started pounding again, "Mrs. Keane, you can’t take Manager Horn’s computer."

Ian unplugged the computer and handed it to Ivana.

Ivana was in no mood to waste words with the man.

The man was anxious, glancing at Charlotte Hughes, hoping she’d help, but Charlotte stood like a wooden puppet, showing no intention of offering assistance. Being forcefully dragged in by Ivana earlier had put her in sheer misery and helplessness.

Did he help her? No one helped her.

Now that he was in trouble, why should she help him?

Damn it.

Charlotte Hughes, that damned woman! Once Manager Horn returns, he must complain to him to get Charlotte kicked out of the finance department.

"Mrs. Keane, you really can’t take Manager Horn’s computer. He instructed me to guard his office when he left, and if anything’s missing, I’ll be in big trouble, let alone something as important as a computer! There are not only company secrets but also Manager Horn’s personal privacy in there!"

"I am the lady of the Kane Group and have the right to know the company’s secrets. This computer was also assigned to Harrison by the Kane Group, making it company property. There’s no such thing as personal privacy. If he puts personal stuff on a company computer, that’s a violation. I can take legal action against him."

Ivana spoke with conviction, causing the man to break out in a cold sweat.

Manager Horn had loudly instructed him over the phone to stop Ivana, but if he couldn’t, to make sure she didn’t touch the office computers. What to do now? Ivana, this lady of the house, was not a typical woman, and her words left him almost speechless. He was no match for her!

The man was frantic. Watching Ivana about to leave the office, he suddenly knelt down and clung to Ivana’s leg.

"Mrs. Keane, you can’t..."

Before he could finish, Ivana kicked him in the chest.

It wasn’t that she deliberately meant to kick him; it was a reflexive reaction. The man’s leg-hugging action made Ivana very uncomfortable.

The man clutched his kicked chest and screamed in pain on the ground.

Ian walked past the man, snorting coldly and thinking, "Serves you right. Do you think you can just cling to my mommy’s legs?"

Timmy, the last to leave, turned and smiled at Charlotte Hughes, whose face was ashen.

Charlotte was bewildered, not understanding why Timmy would smile.

But she quickly found out.

Somehow, a phone had appeared in Timmy’s little hand, and he snapped a picture of Charlotte’s face.

As he left, he whispered to her, "Auntie, I’ve got your picture, so you’d better help my mommy! Otherwise, you’ll be in trouble!"

Charlotte almost burst into tears. One lady of the house already wielded great power, and now it turned out both these little masters were little devils: one could handle computers, and the other had sharp wits. What kind of godly mother-son duo is this?

Ivana left the Kane Group holding the laptop. Just as she stepped out the door, a middle-aged man suddenly charged at her.

She dodged, and the man reached in an attempt to snatch the laptop.

Ivana’s mind immediately sounded alarms. This man was overly concerned about this computer, could he be Harrison himself?

He arrived quickly enough, indeed!

"Let go."

Harrison glared menacingly at Ivana, using all his strength to grab the laptop.

"You are Harrison."

Ivana declared assuredly.

"So what if I am? Don’t think that just because President Kane supports you, you can throw your weight around in the finance department. Others may fear you, but I don’t."

Not afraid of her?

Does he have someone backing him?

"Don’t hurt my mommy."

Timmy’s childish voice rang out. As Ian prepared to step in, he charged forward, swinging his little fists into Harrison’s abdomen.

"Ah~"

Harrison gasped in pain, relinquishing the computer.

Raising his hand, he struck Timmy down with a blow, "Damn you, little bastard, how dare you hit me?"

"Timmy."

"Brother."

The laptop fell from Ivana’s hands, and she couldn’t care if it was damaged. She rushed to Timmy’s side, hugging the little boy with misty eyes, "Where does it hurt?"

"It doesn’t hurt, not at all."

Timmy hid his hurt hand behind him.

"Let me see your hand."

Ivana couldn’t be fooled by her own child. His small actions couldn’t escape her watchful eye.

He was caught.

Timmy slowly brought his little hand forward, unfurling it for her to see.

The palm and back of the hand were bruised and swollen, with a few scraped-off patches revealing red strands of blood.

Ivana’s heart ached, burning with rage. Harrison, you’re finished.

Ian’s face was as cold as ice, his voice icy as he spoke to Harrison, "You hit my brother? I’ll make you pay tenfold."

Harrison thought Ian was bluffing. What could this mere child do against him?

Besides, even if the child told President Kane, so what? Everything he did was under Mrs. Kane’s direction. He had merely pushed another little boy who had charged over and hit him in the abdomen.

The abdomen is the most vulnerable spot, and knocking the little boy over was already merciful.

Five seconds later, Harrison was thoroughly flabbergasted.

After striking a taekwondo pose, Ian suddenly leapt, his toe reaching up to Harrison’s face. Sensing danger, Ian’s toe suddenly struck Harrison’s face, sending blood and saliva flying from his nose and mouth.

"Ah~"

Harrison screamed miserably, collapsing to the ground, his face in excruciating pain, feeling as if his face had been kicked off course.

This damned kid, where did he get such strength?

Ian’s little shoe came to rest before Harrison’s eyes, and his icy gaze bore onto his trembling hand on the ground. Another swift kick landed on the back of his hand.

"Ah~ Ah~ Ah~"

Harrison was in unbearable pain, enraged beyond measure. No matter how noble this little boy was, he swung his other fist and desperately punched Ian’s small leg.

Ian didn’t lift his foot, continuing to stomp, regardless of how much Harrison’s punch hurt. He remained silent in pain, showing no intention of stopping until he stepped short of Harrison’s fingers.
