Fierce Daddy: His Million-Dollar Sweetheart
Chapter 550: Get Lost Now
CHAPTER 550: CHAPTER 550: GET LOST NOW
"Chloe Lockwood, watch what you say."
The last person Ivy Linden wanted to see now was anyone related to the Lockwood family. The hurt from Samuel Lockwood and his mother was too much, and this Chloe Lockwood wasn’t easy to deal with either.
Ivy couldn’t figure it out. Maybe she had disturbed the Lockwood family tomb in a past life since all of them seemed hell-bent on hurting her.
"Chloe, look at her, she’s telling you to watch your words, she’s so fierce~" Vivi Quinn said pretentiously.
"A mother with a child, living so scandalously, has the right to tell others to watch their words? She has no shame, so why should I give her any?"
"Chloe, you shouldn’t say that! Maybe she’s forced by life? Didn’t you say she left without any property? She has no source of income, so selling herself... might be understandable."
Vivi Quinn said, then giggled. Wendy Quinn was her sister, and Ivy Linden had almost caused her sister to miscarry. She wouldn’t let Ivy off easily.
Vivi glanced at Nicole, holding onto Ivy Linden’s leg, staring at her.
Those clear and beautiful eyes, the more she looked, the more she wanted to gouge them out.
Ivy’s face flushed red, fingers clenching tightly, wanting to slap Chloe and Vivi hard. But, thinking about Nicole clinging to her leg, she held back, afraid of scaring her.
"Did you two skip brushing your teeth this morning? Your mouths stink. I suggest you go back and brush well, so you stop spreading filth and embarrassing yourselves."
Chloe and Vivi’s faces fell.
"Ivy Linden, who are you calling with a smelly mouth?"
"Ivy Linden, you just ate dirt this morning, spewing filth all over."
Chloe and Vivi were furious. They couldn’t understand how someone like Ivy, who had nothing left, dared to insult them. If they were in Ivy’s shoes, they’d be ashamed and want to bury themselves alive.
Ivy seemed to feel no shame whatsoever. Had she really sold herself to the point of losing all face?
Both were about to launch a new wave of attacks on Ivy.
At that moment, the jewelry store manager spoke up.
"Where did these uncultured fools come from? Bringing bad luck into our store first thing in the morning. Do we even want to run a business? You fools better get out yourself, or I’ll have security throw you out."
"Did you hear that? Ivy Linden, you’re the fool. Get that necklace and bracelet off and get out with your little fool. If you can’t afford it, don’t look and embarrass yourself."
Chloe was extremely proud, thinking the "fool" the manager referred to was Ivy.
"Haha... Big fool and little fool, hurry up and get lost!"
Vivi Quinn nudged her LV bag on her shoulder, as if proving she was a "socialite." Ivy didn’t even have a bag, dressed poorly. The store manager must naturally be referring to them as fools.
"I’m sorry, Miss Linden. Perhaps my earlier comments were unclear, causing the two fools to misunderstand."
The store manager bowed deeply, clearly apologizing to Ivy, treating her as a top-level guest, leaving Chloe and Vivi stunned.
"What? You’re calling her Miss Linden? She has a child and was abandoned by a man. You should kick her out."
Chloe couldn’t accept the manager treating Ivy so well, trying to convince him otherwise.
"Right, you’re in the service industry, are you blind? Didn’t you see her with such a big daughter?"
Vivi always looked down on service workers. To her, the store manager was just another server. She was furious with being called a fool and internally vowed to complain about the manager disrespecting her and Chloe right after dealing with Ivy.
"Miss Linden, rest assured, I will quickly handle these two fools and ensure they don’t affect your shopping experience. My deepest apologies."
After speaking, the manager called to the security.
"Security, please come over, we have two fools causing a disturbance, escort them out."
Security quickly arrived. Disturbances in the store wouldn’t be tolerated.
"You server, that’s too much, where’s your manager? Call him, I want to file a complaint."
"Right, we are customers, gods. Is that how you treat gods?"
Chloe and Vivi shouted.
"This is our manager," security said decisively as they shouted at him.
"What? He’s the manager?" Chloe was surprised again, feeling embarrassed.
"Someone like that, a manager? I want your boss here. I am a capable customer, listen, my family runs a company in Ravenswood, I’m a socialite. You’ll regret crossing me. If you don’t want to lose your job, call your boss over."
Vivi’s family ran a small company, but in Ravenswood, that was nothing. She only dared to call herself a socialite before security. Real socialites would make her scamper away.
The manager looked down at Vivi, mocking, "You’d regret crossing Mr. Leaf."
Vivi was confused, "Mr. Leaf? Who?"
The manager, not bothered to explain, waved at security, "Throw them out, throw them out."
"Ah~ stupid security, get your hands off me."
"Don’t touch me, get away."
But security acted as though they didn’t hear, dragging Chloe and Vivi out like chicks.
"Stupid security, do you want to die? Do you know who my brother is? He owns a famous law firm in Ravenswood. I’ll sue you to death."
Chloe rubbed her sore arm and threatened.
Security laughed carelessly, "Whatever."
They did their job and knew the law, not scared of her.
Chloe and Vivi were fuming.
Vivi still wasn’t satisfied, wanting to get back in and tear apart Ivy and the manager.
Security blocked the door with his body, "Shameless, kicked out, want back in?"
"You street rat, you pauper, get out of my way," Vivi shouted at the insult.
Security pointed at Vivi, "If you keep causing trouble, I’ll call the police. Let’s see if you’re not embarrassed."
"Do it! Call now. If you don’t, you’re a coward."
"Forget it, Vivi, don’t stoop to the level of this street rat." Chloe pulled Vivi, deciding to tell their mother about what happened today as soon as they got back.
