"Woof woof." Kabi kept wagging its tail happily, with its gaze fixed on the storage box pressed against Xuanxuan’s chest, obviously craving the cookies.

"Kabi! If you don’t listen, Xuanxuan will get angry!" Xuanxuan raised her voice in annoyance.

"..." Kabi didn’t move and its wagging tail stopped. Its eyes lost the earlier sparkle, looking quietly and deeply at Xuanxuan, seemingly revealing a hint of sadness.

"Acting pathetic again!" Xuanxuan muttered quietly, her tone full of helplessness.

Seeing Xuanxuan continuing to climb the stairs, Kabi got excited again, wagging its tail and standing at the staircase entrance waiting for her.
