CHAPTER 733: CHAPTER 733: PEACH BELL IS KIDNAPPED

Life resumed its usual course.

Nora Northwood had already forgotten about the secret meeting between Jasper Sinclair and Peach Bell.

Yet, someone persisted on bringing it up.

Liam Jacobs arrived at The Sinclair Residence, startling Grandma Sinclair.

"Because of your son’s family, Peach Bell has been harmed multiple times. Can you really remain indifferent?"

Peach Bell was kidnapped at the academy, and by the time Liam Jacobs discovered it, she had been taken abroad.

The kidnapper might have some kind of connection with Jasper Sinclair, insisting that he must personally make the exchange.

Liam Jacobs waited outside The Sinclair Group headquarters all day but did not see Jasper Sinclair.

In desperation, he could only inquire about the address of The Sinclair Residence.

Unfortunately, his attitude in seeking help was inappropriate, causing dissatisfaction in the old lady’s heart. To be fair, Grandma Sinclair and Peach Bell have no true blood relation.

The old woman need not care about the life or death of the young girl, but the young girl accompanied her during her son’s lifetime.

There is, after all, some affection there.

If Liam Jacobs had not spoken so aggressively, she would have considered arranging for personnel abroad to conduct a rescue.

The old lady instructed the butler standing by her side, "Give Jasper a call."

The butler did as he was told.

The one who answered was Nora Northwood, who asked, "Grandma, it’s so late, why haven’t you rested yet?"

Upon hearing Nora Northwood’s voice, Grandma Sinclair’s brows relaxed a bit, "There are some bothersome issues yet unresolved. Is Jasper by your side?"

"He’s in the study, I’ll take the phone to him, please hold on."

A second passed, and the sound of slippers treading on the floor came through the receiver.

"Jasper, Grandma is looking for you."

Nora Northwood handed the phone to Jasper Sinclair and went back to her room alone.

About twenty minutes later, the call ended, and Jasper Sinclair returned to the bedroom.

His expression of wanting to speak yet holding back made Nora Northwood instantly suspect something was amiss.

"Did something happen at The Sinclair Residence?"

Jasper Sinclair neither affirmed nor denied but only gazed deeply at her, for almost ten seconds.

The more he acted this way, the more anxious Nora Northwood became, "What exactly happened? You need to tell me, so I can help you resolve it together!"

"You can’t get involved."

His implication: you can’t solve this with me, nor can you solve it for me.

Nora Northwood watched as Jasper Sinclair’s thin lips pressed bit by bit into a straight line, gradually realizing the seriousness of the problem.

"Then at least tell me the whole story, don’t leave me worried and unable to do anything."

"First promise me that after listening, you won’t be mad at me."
