No matter which man, he wouldn’t want to be looked down upon, let alone someone as proud as Jasper Sinclair?

He stepped forward, looking down at Nora Northwood with a tone full of mockery and ridicule: "Aren’t you just the same, spending the Sinclair Family’s money, using their people to capture me?"

Their eyes locked, and he lifted his hand again, gripping Nora’s chin harshly, "Threatening people, getting addicted to it, is that right? If you have the capability, just abduct me back home; if not, stop sending your people to harass me."

He used so much force that Nora was in pain.

When he finally let go, there was a red mark prominently left on Nora’s skin.

She raised her chin defiantly, "Then watch and see if I have the capability."

"I’ll look forward to it." With these words, Jasper left without looking back.

Francis glanced at Nora, asking with his eyes if they should keep the man here.

Nora drooped her shoulders wearily, "Let him go."

Seeing this, Francis silently prayed in his heart: Hopefully, when their CEO regains his memory, he won’t regret the words he said today.

The living room fell silent again, except for the wind blowing through, almost no other sound could be heard.

Nora sat in the dining area, eating a tasteless breakfast, her thoughts wandering somewhere unknown.

After breakfast, she decided to meet up with Peach Bell.

They met at a nearby tea restaurant, not at the hospital.

Nora sat elegantly beside the window; even in ancient times, she would have carried the air of a lady of the house.

Peach Bell arrived fashionably late, and after sitting down, asked what was up.

By now, Nora had adjusted her emotions and composure to the best state, she looked at the young girl across from her and began unhurriedly: "Jasper won’t have amnesia forever; there will come a day when he regains his memory. With his personality, if he finds out you’re nothing but a complete liar, what do you think he’ll do?"

"All that is for later, not something to worry about now. I’m willing to stay by his side and look after him; one day, he’ll be moved by my kindness."

"Even if he is, it’s just being moved, not liking, much less love."

"I don’t mind."

For the first time, Nora felt she couldn’t understand this young girl, nor decipher her thought process.

The atmosphere suddenly became awkward. Nora looked down, took a small sip of coffee to soothe her throat.

Peach Bell silently watched her.

After two or three minutes, she spoke again: "Jasper isn’t someone who gets entangled with love; The Sinclair Group and Sinclair Family both need him, and your brother is looking for you. It won’t be long before I take him back to the country."

"The only reason the Jacobs Family is looking for me is because I’m still useful to them, so I don’t care about them, but I don’t want Brother Jasper to return to the country."

Peach Bell knew very well what going back meant.

Once back in that familiar city, there’s a high probability that Jasper Sinclair’s memory could return, and by then, their time would truly be over.

Peach Bell would never allow that to happen, so she would do everything in her power to keep him in Melbourne.

Nora wasn’t in the mood to play a long game with a young girl, she casually stirred her coffee and tossed out her bait: "Let’s make a deal, once we return, you can stay by his side, and if he recalls and still chooses you, I’ll divorce him."
