Flirted Wrong, Married Right
Chapter 6: Make Him the Model for a Nude Sculpture
CHAPTER 6: CHAPTER 6: MAKE HIM THE MODEL FOR A NUDE SCULPTURE
Yara Reagan was still a bit uneasy: "Aren’t you afraid he’ll blab everywhere, and once Matthew Sullivan finds out, the whole Grant Family will blow up?"
"Ha, not a chance." Evelyn Clayton chuckled lightly, recalling James Grant’s behavior at the hotel that morning, and answered with certainty, "That’s the advantage of going to James Grant, I don’t even have to bother hiding it, he’ll keep it under wraps all on his own."
"Okay, fine." Yara Reagan decided to let it go, nudged Evelyn Clayton with her elbow, her face full of gossip, "So, how’s the Eldest Young Master Grant in bed?"
"Tsk tsk, just looking at the marks on you, I can tell the action was intense. How many times in one night?"
"I’ve heard people say he’s remarkably well-endowed, is that true?"
A string of questions was thrown at her, and Evelyn Clayton didn’t know which one to answer first.
She carefully recalled, and indeed, James Grant’s size was quite astonishing.
Even though she hadn’t seen anyone else’s, she had a general idea from joking around with her girlfriends.
Realizing her thoughts had completely derailed thanks to Yara Reagan, Evelyn Clayton couldn’t help but roll her eyes at her:
"Why don’t I just give you his WeChat, and you can ask him yourself?"
"That could work," Yara Reagan smirked mischievously and added, "Aren’t we working on a nude sculpture project? Let’s have him strip and pose as our model, hehehe..."
"Or how about we use him as a model, make ten or eight nude sculptures of men, set up an exhibition, charge admission, and drum up business, what do you say?" Evelyn Clayton joked.
"That’s a great idea, I like it, very clever!" Yara Reagan gave a thumbs-up.
"What’s on your mind!" Evelyn Clayton laughed with exasperation and amusement, giving Yara Reagan’s head a playful tap, when suddenly her phone rang.
It was a call from her mom, Charlotte Sterling. After answering, she coldly said one thing, "Your dad wants you to come home, there’s something to discuss."
And then hung up.
Dad? Her dad’s long dead, Philip Lockwood thinks he’s worthy?
Evelyn Clayton sneered, holding her phone.
In her last year of high school, she moved out of the Lockwood Family’s home, claiming the art training school was too far, and rented a place to live on her own.
Ever since Iris Lockwood and her gang suddenly stopped bullying her openly in her first year of high school, her stepsister shifted to more underhanded tactics.
Spreading rumors about her promiscuity, ruining her competition paintings, and even drugging her before exams — these weren’t unheard of actions, even hiring thugs to ambush her on her way home from school.
To prevent Iris Lockwood from coming up with new ways to sabotage her and affect her college entrance exams, coupled with other things happening at the time, she found a good excuse and immediately moved out.
Her relationship with Charlotte Sterling was already very cold, and after moving out of the Lockwood Family’s home, they barely kept in touch.
Charlotte Sterling was determined to be a good stepmother, even though Iris Lockwood once threatened to force her to have an abortion, to sterilize, or constantly used her like a servant without showing any kindness.
Yet she’d rather stick to Iris Lockwood with a warm face against her cold treatment, than show even a little care to Evelyn Clayton.
Every time she called, it wasn’t out of concern for Evelyn Clayton’s well-being, but because Philip Lockwood or Iris Lockwood had some demand.
So, when Evelyn Clayton walked into the Lockwood Family’s living room and was met with Charlotte Sterling’s slap, she wasn’t surprised at all.
She raised her hand to grab Charlotte Sterling’s wrist and flung it away forcefully, laughing mockingly:
"Mrs. Lockwood, I’m long past the age where you can hit and scold me at will.
"Since you called me over, show some courtesy.
"If you’re really this unwelcoming, I can leave right now!"
