Sharon nodded vigorously.

"But Strawberry Bear and the planet we live on are not the same. If one day, Strawberry Bear invites you to its hometown to live with it, but you can’t see Mommy, Grandma, and Uncle anymore, would you be willing?"

Sharon showed a conflicted expression.

After a long while, she whispered, "But I also really like Mommy, like Grandma, like Uncle."

"That’s right." Evelyn hugged her tightly, showing a moment of realization, "Sharon, sometimes, even if you like something very much, you don’t necessarily have to be together. If you choose Mommy, choose Grandma and Uncle, then you can’t go with Strawberry Bear."

"Mommy once really liked Daddy too, but now, Mommy can’t be with him. Because Mommy chose something else."

Sharon tenderly wiped Evelynn’s tears away, her tone becoming shy.

"Then Mommy, can Sharon go see Daddy? Just a distant glance will do. Sharon wants to see what Daddy looks like."

Sharon’s eyes immediately lit up.

"But." Evelyn’s tone grew more serious, "Mommy has to ask Grandma and Uncle first, and also Godmother and Aunt, okay?"

Sharon nodded energetically, visibly excited, "Okay! If they don’t agree, then Sharon will just take a distant look, and definitely not make Grandma, Uncle, Godmother, and Aunt angry!"

Evelyn couldn’t help but smile through her tears, teasing her, "Then you don’t care if Mommy gets angry?"

Sharon giggled, wriggling in Evelyn’s arms, nuzzling against her, and pouted, "Mommy would never be angry with Sharon, Sharon knows."

Evelyn lovingly hugged her tighter.

That night, Sharon and Evelyn slept together, mother and daughter nestled closely.

Every night with Sharon, Evelyn could sleep peacefully.

The next morning, Evelyn carried the freshened-up Sharon to the main building for breakfast.

The whole family was there, and the breakfast was harmonious and pleasant.

As it was about to end, Evelyn noticed Sharon trying hard to catch her eye, reminding her, making Evelyn smile.

After the servants cleared the dishes, the nanny came to take Sharon to school.

Evelyn saw her to the door, winked at the child, and whispered, "Don’t worry, Mommy remembers."

Only then did Sharon leave happily.

Returning to the table, Evelyn spoke calmly.

"I plan to take Sharon to meet James Grant."
