"The Spatial Storeroom? What in the world is that?"

The Green Nitros couldn't see a thing, so they could only turn to Yuuki for answers—he was the only one who could possibly know what was going on.

"The Spatial Storeroom—the birthplace of the Godly Ingredients. But getting inside requires an existence on a higher dimension. Not only that, but it's constantly moving between the different universes."

"Right now, it's passing through the Green Universe."

Yuuki explained.

The sheer scale of the gate was terrifying. From his vantage point, he could only make out a few patterns and the basic shape of the door itself—its true size was impossible for him to determine.

"The birthplace of the Godly Ingredients? I can't believe something like that actually exists in the universe!"

The Green Nitros were filled with an intense longing, but they knew it was a place they could never hope to enter. It was a realm reserved for the Gourmet Gods.

Even Yuuki, despite possessing a Divine nature, couldn't enter it yet. The appearance of the Spatial Storeroom was a complete surprise to him—he hadn't seen anything like it back in the Red Universe.

To have it appear now, in the Green Universe of all places, was unexpected.

As Yuuki watched, a crack appeared in the massive gate. Relative to the gate itself, the crack was minuscule, but to Yuuki, it was monstrously huge.

Just as he was observing it, a white figure shot out from within, clutching a massive, white object. The figure was instantly familiar to Yuuki—it was a Gourmet God.

He had stumbled upon a Gourmet God in the middle of a hunt. They frequently entered the Spatial Storeroom to capture ingredients, and Yuuki had just happened to run into one.

"Divinity... and the aura of my own kind. I see. Will you become a new companion to us? How wonderful! Since the birth of the universe, we have never had a new companion."

The Gourmet God noticed Yuuki's presence immediately, sensing both his divine nature and the aura of its own kind.

It knew that even the Gourmet Gods couldn't bestow divinity upon another being. Yuuki must have achieved it on his own, and had then been aided by its kin.

Without a doubt, Yuuki had the potential to become one of them.

At that thought, the Gourmet God tore off a piece of the Godly Ingredient it held and sent it flying toward Yuuki.

"I believe you will have great need of this. I look forward to our meeting in the Farthest Lands!"

With those parting words, the Gourmet God vanished. The Spatial Storeroom's gate sealed itself shut, but this time, it didn't disappear. For the foreseeable future, it would remain within the Green Universe.

——————

"Mr. Yuuki? What just happened? We sensed that a Godly Ingredient has appeared before you."

The Green Nitros had sensed the ingredient the Gourmet God had sent, and they asked, their voices filled with confusion.

"The Spatial Storeroom just opened. A Gourmet God was hunting inside. It saw me as it came out and gifted me a piece of a Godly Ingredient."

Yuuki explained the situation, and the Green Nitros' eyes went wide.

No matter how they looked at it, the story sounded like something out of a myth.

For Yuuki to receive such a gift from a Gourmet God himself—did that mean he had the potential to one day reach their level?

The thought sent a jolt of excitement through the Green Nitros. They knew exactly what this meant: sticking with Yuuki was their golden ticket.

The Gourmet Gods were beings far beyond their reach, but Yuuki—who was not yet a God himself—was right here.

The Green Nitros were kind and pure-hearted, but they weren't fools. They knew exactly what choice to make.

From that moment on, they treated Yuuki as their most honored guest. And Yuuki decided to stay for a while—he needed to figure out how to prepare this new Godly Ingredient.

This ingredient, in both size and difficulty, far surpassed any of the others he had ever obtained.

The ones he'd found before were little more than scraps—fragments the Gourmet Gods had noticed falling but couldn't be bothered to retrieve.

That meant the ingredients Yuuki had gotten his hands on before were, relatively speaking, the common variety of Godly Ingredients.

But this one—this was a personal gift from a Gourmet God. Its value was on an entirely different level.

The massive leap in preparation difficulty meant Yuuki would need a significant amount of time for research. The difference between this ingredient and the previous ones was a matter of fundamental quality.

This time, the process took Yuuki a thousand times longer than before. At this level of existence, time itself seemed to lose its meaning. It was a good thing he had the Mobile Kitchen—without it, he could have easily spent the time it took for the outside world to change beyond recognition.

The Mobile Kitchen was a source of great fascination for the Green Nitros. It was a special ability, one that could only be awakened by preparing the ingredient born from a cooked planet.

They knew that after cooking a planet, the universe's "Baton of Flavor" would appear on it, a truly unique phenomenon.

The Green Nitros, of course, had never done such a thing, so they didn't possess such an ability.

Yuuki gave them a few of the necessary ingredients, allowing them to awaken these abilities for themselves. For him, sharing a small amount of food was no issue.

"What a peculiar ingredient. The flavor is a bit weaker, but after eating it, we've awakened special abilities—the ability to observe souls, a completely new sense of taste, the power to open the Back Channel... We've never seen anything like it!"

After awakening their new powers, the Green Nitros were filled with emotion. They'd never imagined such ingredients existed, nor that the Blue Nitros would have developed such methods.

While they despised the Blue Nitros' actions, they had to admit their results were impressive.

The Blue Nitros were undeniably powerful, but their fatal flaw was their utter disregard for other forms of life. They saw themselves as superior to everything else.

That kind of attitude might have worked in their own universe, but in any other, it was a recipe for disaster.

For the time being, Yuuki remained there, focusing on increasing his strength.

He also took the opportunity to use the Green Nitros' technology to study the Green Universe, planning out his future route. The other ingredients out there might not compare to the one he held now, but they were still incredibly valuable—and he had no intention of letting them go to waste.
