Chapter 92: The Coming-of-Age Baptism of the Ye Clan’s Eldest Daughter

As Ye Wushang browsed the invitation from Tianji Pavilion, several rare items caught his eye:

* * * * Divine Dao Artifact: Usable only by Longevity Realm cultivators with a God Core. Contains a God’s insight into intent comprehension.

* * * * Heaven Command Fruit: Grade-6 postnatal treasure. Contains Yin-Yang energy. Boosts Yin-Yang Realm by one layer.

* * * * Pixiu Blood: Descendant of an ancient beast. Strengthens the body; may awaken the Pixiu Physique.

* * * * Damaged God Core: Fragment of a slain deity’s core. Though incomplete, it still holds immense insight into intent.

Ye Wushang sighed. A complete God Core would’ve been worth fighting for especially in Tianluo Daozhou, where divine cultivators are rare.

Then his gaze landed on.

Soul-Nurturing Flower: An immortal-grade herb that repairs damaged souls. A dream treasure for those with soul injuries.

His eyes narrowed.

I must obtain it.

For Ye Zhen’s recovery, this was essential.

He spotted two more items that could enhance the soul-repairing elixir. His decision was made.

He closed the invitation and turned to Peach Yaoyao, the alluring Pavilion Master.

“Thank you for the personal invitation. I’ll attend.”

She smiled, eyes sparkling.

“So the Ye Clan Master has found something tempting. I’ll await your arrival in Tianluo Daozhou.”

They walked side by side to the gate, a striking pair.

Just as Ye Wushang prepared to offer parting words, Peach Yaoyao leaned in, her scent intoxicating.

“I’ve heard the Ye Clan Master is fond of beauty. I wonder, “Do I meet your standards?”

Her voice was soft, seductive.

Ye Wushang’s heart stirred but his instincts flared.

Someone’s probing my fate.

His clarity returned. He saw through her charm and her hidden technique.

He pulled her close.

“A beauty like Peach Pavilion Master? Of course I’m tempted. Perhaps we should spar sometime to see whose technique is sharper.”

Her spell broke. She froze.

He resisted  and retaliated.

Even God-Sealed experts had fallen to her charm before.

Now, she felt herself melting under his aura and she didn’t hate it.

She broke free, cheeks flushed.

“Ye Clan Master, quite the bold one.”

She glared and left without another word.

Outside, her two God-Sealed guards addressed her as “Miss,” not “Pavilion Master.”

She had reverted to her true self, cold, elegant, veiled.

“He’s dangerous. My fate technique couldn’t read him. He nearly read me instead. If not for my father’s treasure, I’d be exposed.”

The guards gasped.

She’s the Tianji Pavilion’s future heir, a prodigy in fate arts. And she was outplayed.

“I’ll prepare a fate array for the auction. Let’s see if he escapes me again.”

She vanished into the distance.

Ye Wushang watched her go, amused.

Little enchantress.

Then, still burning with fire, he returned home and thoroughly “trained” Mo Sijun and Zhao Qingge, leaving them limping from his affection.

Ye Clan’s Annual Coming-of-Age Ceremony

Half a year remained until the auction. Ye Wushang turned his focus to family.

With the Lion Roar Beast Clan joining the Ye Clan, his Bone-Cleansing Elixir had reached a new level.

Every child who underwent the baptism saw dramatic improvements in talent and physique.

This year was special.

It was the coming-of-age ceremony of Ye Zhixin, his eldest daughter and the Ye Clan’s official heiress.

At fourteen, she was tall, graceful, and radiant, her eyes full of spirit.

Ye Wushang had prepared a special elixir for her: one of the Ten-Pack Rewards meant for imperial heirs.

Wait I still haven’t opened the reward for children 11–20.

He made a mental note to claim it soon.

The cauldron bubbled with golden liquid potent enough to push a Peak Purple Palace cultivator into the Manifestation Realm.

And he was using it for his daughter’s baptism.

He added ingredients one by one. The liquid changed colors green, black, violet, violet-black until it turned golden.

The aroma was divine.

Children over eight gathered to watch. Ye Wushang insisted they witness the process.

Pain is part of growth. They must understand.

Zhao Qingge and Mo Sijun stood nearby, worried.

Ye Wushang turned to his daughter.

“Zhixin, go. I believe in you.”

She nodded solemnly.

“I won’t let you down.”

She stepped into the cauldron.

Ssssss~!

The sound of flesh being refined echoed. The younger children winced.

Ye Wushang turned away, heart aching.

But this is necessary. Strength demands sacrifice.

Zhao Qingge and Mo Sijun wept silently.

But Ye Zhixin didn’t cry.

She endured the pain without a sound.

Her younger brother, proud at thirteen, watched anxiously.

They were close to the eldest siblings.

When she emerged, the golden liquid had turned murky.

She leapt out.

Zhao Qingge and Mo Sijun rushed forward, embracing her in tears.
