PAID Chapter 253
Amelia opened her eyes.
Thud, thud, thud. The sound of a stone rolling by her side.
“Ugh…”
She barely regained her senses and sat up, then looked around.
It was dim everywhere.
This wasn’t the underground chamber filled with an ominous, faint violet light where Amelia had been just moments ago.
“Where…?”
A cracked voice escaped her, seemingly without her control.
This place was probably the church’s underground, below the chamber.

Looking up at the distant hole, the light from a torch embedded in the wall of the chamber leaked faintly through.
Relying on that light, Amelia scanned her surroundings.
Large and small rocks that had fallen here and there, sharp rocks jutting up, and between them, Amelia’s body safely nestled.@@novelbin@@
And a little further away…
Thump.
The light from the torch above, casting its glow here, reflected off pure white hair, glowing with a soft silvery sheen.
Thump.
“Ah, ah…”
