From Divorced to Dominant: My Ex Regrets Everything!
Chapter 32 - Rong Shuang’s Heart Sign
Chapter 32: Rong Shuang’s Heart Sign—Who Has Such a Pretty Girlfriend?! Xu Na’s Scheming—Wanting to Remarry?!
“Alright, let’s eat,” Jiang Feng said, taking a bite of the bun on his plate.
After the three of them finished dinner, Jiang Feng threw out the trash and packed the buns for Tang Hemei. He turned to Rong Shuang and said, “I’ll take you home.”
“Are you tired? If you are, don’t bother,” Rong Shuang replied seriously.
She wanted to pamper Jiang Feng.
Driving her home and back would take over thirty minutes.
She’d rather Jiang Feng got some extra rest.
Jiang Feng shook his head. “Not too tired. I’m used to it.”
Jiang Youyou chimed in, “Let’s take you home, Teacher Rong! We can ride in the new car together!”
Rong Shuang smiled. “Alright then, let’s go.”
“Yay! New car ride!”
As they stepped out of the shop, a light rain began to fall again.
The three of them walked side by side under two umbrellas.
Rong Shuang kept stealing glances at Jiang Feng’s profile, a dreamy smile playing on her stunning face.
Even without talking or doing anything special, just being with Jiang Feng made her happy.
When they reached the car, Jiang Feng opened the door.
Youyou automatically climbed into the back seat and winked at Rong Shuang.
Rong Shuang caught the signal and shook hands with Youyou in secret.
Jiang Feng sighed inwardly.
The two of them had officially become allies.
Once everyone buckled up, Jiang Feng turned on the AC.
Youyou sprawled comfortably in her seat. “Wow, having a car is so nice.”
“Dad, I really love this car.”
She enjoyed the cool air while watching raindrops patter against the window.
Two of the people she cared about most—her dad and Teacher Rong—were right there with her.
Rong Shuang gazed at Jiang Feng’s profile and murmured, “I love it too.”
She loved the car.
She loved sitting in the passenger seat beside Jiang Feng.
And of course, she loved Jiang Feng most of all.
Jiang Feng pretended not to catch her meaning and started driving.
The electric car ran smoothly, especially in the city—it felt great.
At a red light, the car didn’t even shudder.
Rong Shuang picked up her phone and asked Jiang Feng, “Can we take a selfie together?”
Jiang Feng nodded.
Youyou popped her head forward excitedly. “Me too!”
Rong Shuang turned around, raised her phone, and snapped a photo of all three of them.
She carefully saved the picture—it was her first photo with Jiang Feng and Youyou together.
“Teacher Rong, let me see the photo!”
“Sure!”
Rong Shuang handed her phone to Youyou.
“I like the one with all three of us! Let’s take another, Teacher Rong!”
“Okay!”
As Jiang Feng drove, the two beauties—one big, one small—had a blast taking selfies beside him.
Soon, the car stopped at the entrance of Rong Shuang’s apartment complex.
“I’ll head in now. See you tomorrow.”
Rong Shuang opened the door, raised her umbrella, and walked toward the gate. Suddenly, she turned back, forming a heart shape with her fingers and aiming it at Jiang Feng.
A few passersby glanced enviously at the car.
Damn.
Whose girlfriend was this gorgeous?!
After watching Rong Shuang disappear into the complex, Jiang Feng asked Youyou, “Do you want to move to the front seat?”
“I’m too lazy, Dad.”
“Alright, let’s go home then.”
“Okay~”
When Jiang Feng rented his apartment, the landlord had also provided a parking space in the complex.
Driving into the underground garage, Jiang Feng found the spot with the parking lock.
It was a remote-controlled lock.
Using the key the landlord had left, Jiang Feng pressed the unlock button, and the lock lowered automatically.
After parking, Jiang Feng and Youyou got out.
“Dad, having a car is so great. We don’t get wet anymore.”
“Dad is amazing.”
Youyou was thrilled.
Jiang Feng smiled too.
Father and daughter headed upstairs.
Once home, Jiang Feng sat down, feeling much less exhausted.
Driving was definitely less tiring than walking.
“Dad, have some water.”
Youyou had dashed to the kitchen as soon as they got home and now came out carefully holding a cup of warm water.
Jiang Feng felt a warmth in his chest. “Thanks, Youyou. Why are you being so nice to me today?”
Youyou said earnestly, “I’m going to treat you well from now on.”
“Dad, I’m sorry. Before, I wasn’t very good to you. When Teacher Rong asked me what foods you liked, I didn’t even know.”
She tugged at her clothes, looking guilty.
Jiang Feng was momentarily stunned, then pulled her into a hug. “It’s okay, Youyou.”
“You’re not mad at me?”
“Of course not.”
“Then, Dad, what do you like to eat?”
“Hot pot? Buns? Noodles? And meat—I like all of it.”
Youyou perked up. “Then in the future, Teacher Rong and I can cook for you!”
“And we’ll take you out to eat—you just have to pay!”
She’d bring Dad, and Dad would bring the money!
Jiang Feng chuckled. “Sure, just the two of us will go.”
Youyou grabbed his hand and turned on the charm. “Not Teacher Rong? I want her to be my mom.”
Jiang Feng shook his head. “We’ll talk about that later.”
“Fine. Drink your water.”
After finishing the water, Jiang Feng checked his phone.
There were a few messages.
The 4S store had sent some thank-you texts and reminded him about maintenance.
Rong Shuang had also messaged:
“I’m home.”
“Just showered. Tang Hemei overate again—two full meals in one day. Now she’s lying on the couch like a corpse for four hours. Typical.”
“I miss you. Did you get home safe?”
She had sent Jiang Feng their group photo and a selfie.
She wanted the person she liked to see more of her.
Jiang Feng replied: “Just got back.”
Rong Shuang responded instantly: “You worked hard. Going to shower now?”
Jiang Feng: “Yeah, about to.”
Rong Shuang: “I’ll wait for you.”
Jiang Feng thought for a moment but didn’t reply to that last message. He checked his other notifications.
Xu Na had sent him texts:
“I’m not angry anymore. Tell Youyou not to worry.”
“Where’s my dark red maxi dress?”
“If you have time, let’s grab a meal together?”
Over the past two days, Xu Na had sent people from her company to check out Jiang Feng’s shop during peak hours.
The place was packed!
Xu Na had confirmed—Jiang Feng had turned things around and was making good money now.
On Sunday and today, she’d gone on three blind dates, but none satisfied her.
Suddenly, she realized Jiang Feng wasn’t so bad after all!
So she took the initiative to message him, hoping to reconnect and explore the possibility of remarriage.
Even if Jiang Feng wasn’t interested, she refused to believe he had no feelings left for her.
If she could control him before, she could do it again.
Jiang Feng read her messages but didn’t reply to any.
That dress was in the second wardrobe door in the spare bedroom.
Back then, Jiang Feng had been the one organizing the house, so of course he knew.
But why should he tell her?
This woman really had some nerve.
What did her clothes have to do with him now?
At this point, Jiang Feng was even considering cutting off her visits with Youyou entirely.
And she had the audacity to ask where her dress was?
Song Jin had also messaged him:
“I mailed you a box of apples.”
“Your dad transferred you 5,000 yuan.”
“No matter what, you and Youyou have to eat well, understand?”
Jiang Feng’s mood lifted. He replied:
“We’re eating well—meat, veggies, even fruit at night.”
“I’ll transfer the money back to Dad later. You two should spend it on yourselves.”
Song Jin: “You stubborn kid, why send it back? You’re our only son—who else would we give it to?”
Jiang Feng: “Business is good at the shop. I don’t need the money. I even bought a car—just picked it up today.”
After reading his message, Song Jin felt a little more at ease.
She still suspected Jiang Feng might be downplaying his struggles, but she also knew how reliable he was.
If he’d bought a car, he must have stabilized financially.
Song Jin replied: “No matter how much you earn, you’ll always be my and your dad’s son.”
“We just want you to have a better life. Keep the money.”
