From Exile To Queen Of Everything
Have Left 95
bChapter /bb95 /b
b“/bbMiss /bEnna, don’t worry. Anyone who took money from the Hart family won’t get away with it. They got that house the dirty way. iNow /ithey have to bgive /bit back.” Lana assured.
Over the years, the Hart Corporation had be just an empty shell, and a big reason for that was all the money Linda took from Aiden. With that cash, Linda moved all her rtives into the bvis /band gave them jobs at Hart Corporation.
Linda and Jocelyn rushed to the next vi. After all, they had more than one house.
But they hadn’t even been there ten minutes when the same group of people burst in again. After a heated argument, the intruders started shoving them around.
The same thing happened at several properties. In the end, they were left standing on the side of the road, their clothes in tatters, faces bruised, with the bleak wind blowing around them.
Jocelynpletely snapped. Her eyes bwere /bbloodshot with murderous rage as she screamed, “Sienna. I’m going to kill you. I swear I’ll make sure you die.”
Linda bwas /btrying to hail a cab, nning to go back to her parents‘ house. “Jocelyn, don’t be in such a hurry. Once your dad returns, we’ll be back bat /b
the Hart residence.”

Jocelyn’s anger only burned hotter when she heard her mother’s ridiculous fantasy.
What a hopeless fool. She still thinks Aiden is going to save us?‘ Jocelyn wondered. ‘Couldn’t she see that Aiden isn’t even worth a damn in front of Sienna? Sienna. I really underestimated you this time.
‘I thought Aiden could keep Sienna in check. Turns out he’s useless. Or maybe Sienna’s just that ruthless; she had her own father locked up in a psych ward. She doesn’t deserve to be called a daughter.
“Enough. Stop bringing up Aiden and just call a cab,” Jocelyn snapped.
With a loud smack. Linda pped her hard across the face.
Jocelyn was stunned, bher /bcheek burning with pain that cut straight to her core. She’d already been pped around by those people, and now even her mother had hit her.
“You hit me?” Jocelyn stared at Linda in disbelief, eyes wide. ‘Has she lost her mind?‘ she wondered.
Linda red iat /iher, furious, “Jocelyn, how dare you call your dad by his name? No respect for your elders at all. You’ve really let me down. He’s your father.”
Jocelyn clenched her fists, hating Linda’s ignorance. Through gritted teeth, she said, “You know better than anyone if he’s really my father.
“You’re just sitting here waiting, but do you honestly think Aiden ising back for you? He can’t even save himself right now. You think he’d care about you? Keep dreaming”
Linda’s face changed instantly. “What nonsense are you spouting?”
Jocelyn sneered, “It’s the truth. You can’t seriously believe Aiden loves you, can you? If he really did, would he let you suffer like this? You get beaten, and he doesn’t even care. If you died, he’d probably be relieved.”
“Jocelyn, shut up. Shut your damn mouth up,” Linda screamed, lunging at her.
Linda came at Jocelyn, wing and swinging. The two of them ended up in a wild, messy fight, tearing at each other in the street.
Sienna watched the whole scene unfold from not far away. She snapped her fingers, and a man stealthily crept up to them, swiping their phones, shoes, and bags.
By the time Linda and Jocelyn realized what had happened, everything on them was already gone.
After venting all their anger, the two of themy on the ground, gasping for breath. From their faces, it was clear that they’d both gone all out, no mercy at all.
Jocelyn kept mocking Linda, hoping Linda would finally stop being so delusional and face reality.
“Tell me where I’m wrong, Linda. It’s about time you woke up. I don’t want to waste my breath arguing with you anymore. Right now, we need to find somewhere to sleep,” Jocelyn said.
Linda spat on the ground, dusted herself off, and stood up. “If it weren’t for you, I would’ve already gotten a cab. Wait. Where’s my phone? My phone’s gone. And my bag too.”
Hearing that, Jocelyn whipped around, scanning the area. All their stuff had vanished. “Someone must’ve stolen it. Quick, call the police,” she said.
Linda snapped, “Call the policeb? /bWith what? Our phones are gone.”
Jocelyn bwas /bso mad she could scream, grinding her teeth. “This is all your fault.”
“My fault? Jocelyn, if it wasn’t for your stupid ideas, would we bhave /bbeen kicked out? And now you bhave /bthe nerve to me me?” Linda shot back.
The more Linda thought about it, the more bitter she felt. If it hadn’t been for Jocelyn’s dumb n, she wouldn’t have ended up like this. She used to be the morous mistress of the Hart family.
Jocelyn sneered at her, thinking. ‘What a clueless idiot. Even now, she’s still so naiveb, /bonly seeing the surface. Couldn’t she see Sienna left us in the house just to make us suffer?
‘Didn’t all the unfair treatment bwe /bhave been throughtely all feel ba /blittle too familiar? Those are the same tricks we once used on the Hart sisters. Nowb, /bevery bit of it ising back to bite us.‘
