Winifred stood before a factoryplex. She walked in alone. Momentster, the sky lit up bas /bba /bmassive fire erupted. One by one, several connected buildings exploded in a chain reaction.
In a nearby patch of woods, the factory’s owner, a man named Donald Davies, was deep in discussion with Fay Santos. He shot to his feet at the sound of the explosions.
He watched in horror as his entire operation vanished in a sea of fire, his eyes wide with disbelief. He nearly fainted.

Heart pounding, Donald stumbled on weak legs toward the inferno.
