Joseph felt that anyone would appreciate a young woman who was well–behaved, motivated, intelligent, capable, kind, and grateful.

He believed that Ian was unlikely to seed in pursuing Josie.

However, Josie was clearly not yet aware of her situation. Though Sean wished to pursue her, he wouldn’t achieve it easily.

Joseph suddenly felt a bit likeughing.

As a result of this incident, he was no longer nervous when entering the study.

However, upon hearing Jeremy’s proposal, he nearly lost control of his emotions.

He experienced a sudden sense of unexpected fortune that felt distinctly unreal.

News of David’s student applying for a patent quickly spread and reached Xander and Keh.

Keh pointed to the text message on her mobile phone and exined it to Xander, “This is about the general outline I mentioned earlier.

“I didn’t expect that, in just a few days, they would have already validated the experimental method. David is indeed capable.”

Xander tapped his fingers on the tabletop and said, “If I remember correctly, even the fastest approval process takes at least three months.

“Go and give them a hand. Make sure they get the patent done within one month.

“It is merely a research technique. As long as Jeremy’s team is notpletely ipetent, they could likely figure it out within three months.

“We must not give them any opportunity to put it into practice.”

A look of joy appeared on Keh’s face.

He said, “Sir, you are correct. I have heard that the two projects are inherently somewhat

    simr.

“Regardless of which team achieves results, it is a fatal blow to the other team.

“In the less serious case, all of their efforts will be wasted. In more severe cases, even the project may be canceled.”

Xander smiled and said, “Your thinking is overly simplistic. Do not forget that they still have Delh on their side.

“As long as this research is linked to traditional medicine, it will not be iso /ieasy to halt. Unless…”

Although he did not finish his sentence, Keh already understood it.

The project would not be cancled unless a substantial amount of resources were invested and no results were achieved over a long period of time.

He thought, ‘But is this possible?

‘Although I maintain a skeptical attitude toward research in traditional medicine, I do not dare to assert that such research is entirely without efficacy.

‘The oue will depend on how they proceed in the subsequent phase.

Keh suddenly made up her mind.

He said, “Please rest assured, Mr. Nelson. It won’t be easy for them to seed. I will keep an eye on them at all times!”

Keh would never allow Xandrov to use this research as a stepping stone to rise in status.

He just hadn’t expected that things didn’t turn out the way he wanted.

After staying up all night, Jeremy could no longer continue. He said, “There is still some content left.

“Sean, please help them wrap things up. I can’t hold on any longer and need to get some sleep.

As he stood up, he did not forget to pull Delh to her feet as well. “Leave it to Sean. Let’s go.”

After the two had left, Joseph let out a long sigh of relief and said, “Josie, pinch me now. Why does it feel as if I’m dreaming?”

Before entering the study, he was still envious that Josie’s thesis had a preface written by Lonnard. Now, however, he felt no envy at all.

After all, his work had received a preface from Gale Reedshaw, who was Delh Reedshaw’s

Gale Reedshaw was actually David’s teacher back in the day.

Sean raised his hand and punched Joseph, “Are you sober now?”

Joseph clutched his aching shoulder. “I am. Sean, do you work out much? You hit really hard!”

“Joseph, are you fragile or something?” Josie yawned.

Half an hourter, as he watched the sky grow light, Sean removed his sses.

He said, “Both papers have no issues and can be published.”

After hearing what he said, both Josie and Joseph breathed a sigh of relief.

Joseph stood up and said, “Then I’ll go back to school first. It’s been a long night. Thank you, Sean!”

“Yes.” Sean stood up. “Let me walk you out.”

Josie sprang to her feet. “I’ll see him off. You stay seated, Sean!”

She walked out of the Reedshaw family with Joseph.

Joseph turned his head and nced at the Reedshaw family.

He said, “Josie, thank you so much. Ever since you started drafting ourpetition proposals, it feels like our luck has turned for the better.

“Now, we’ve even had the chance ito /imeet the Reedshaw family…”

“Go back and thank Adeline. I helped you because she treated me well.” Josie yawned. “Treat Adeline well!”

Joseph didn’t make a fuss, waved his hand, and left.

After returning, they all slept like the dead. Meanwhile, theirte–night achievements had already caused a stir in the medicalmunity.
