Tripp was already utterly stunned, his gaze still fixed on the calction forms on the ckboard.
“Got it, professor!” He snapped back from Jeremy’s voice and asked Josie to leave.
They walked out of theb together.
Tripp almost forgot why he came to find Josic, He asked, “The derivations of those forms aren’t something one can
write down quickly.
“How did you manage to write them all down in just ba /bdozen seconds?”
“What’s more, you’re self–taught.
,
“Without participating in our experiments, or even seeing theb diaries, you could do it with just one set of experimental
data…”
Tripp couldn’t believe it. “Josie, you’re amazing!”
He suddenly had a feeling thatn might also bhave /bbeen tricked by Josie.
Given the knowledge Josie possessed, she probably wouldn’t need a small project to enhance her resume.
If she wanted to, she could prove herself at any time in many bways/b.
Josie smiled. “I’m not that amazing. Did byou /bforget the software just now? bI /bjust have a good memory and memorized it!”
Tripp fell silent.
He thought, “Is that what it is?”
Tripp didn’t believe it.
“Alright, you don’t need to bwalk /bme any further. I’m going back to school. bYou /bbcan /bhead back!” Josie waved at him.
Turning away, a trace of gloom shed in her eyes.
She hated that she had to use David’s reputation to convince Digby to believe her.
She bwas /bstill too weak. It would take a very long time for her bto /bprove herself, and until then, David could always look
down on her.
The slightest mistake could undo all her efforts.
Therefore, bshe /bcouldn’t rush sess. Instead, bshe /bhad to proceed cautiously, making David gradually reveal his true
colors
Only after Josie had walked away did Tripp remember the real reason he came to find her.
He asked, “Oh right, Josie, do you know what ire has been up totely? Why hasn’t she been to the research institute
for so long?”
He thought, ‘ire is about to graduate with her master’s, so it should be a time for her to gain work experience. She ought to being frequently!
Josie blinked and said, “ire passed her doctoral exam at the beginning of the year and is currently preparing her graduation thesis. I think she’ll be at the research institute soon.
“Here’s a bonus piece of news. ire also has a dual degree. Her favorite major is clinical medicine, which is Professor Wilcourt’s specialty. She’ll be spending a lot of time at the research institute in the future!”
Tripp’s face lit up. “Thanks! I’ll buy you nice food next time.”
“Don’t try to bribe me. I’m on ire’s side!” Josie huffed and was about to turn and leave when she unexpectedly ran into Audrey and bDavid/b,
They were there to discuss the new project.
After the old project was canceled, Monroe Group withdrew their investment.
They simply gave up on investing in the new project. Currently, both parties were somewhat unhappy about this oue.
Fortunately, Aiden’s investment was already in ce. As soon as the settlement with Monroe Group was finalized, the new project could start immediately.
David needed a top–tier research team that could generatemercial value in a short period. Only by making Brown Group profitable would his reputation soar.
This way, he would attract more students, talent, and investments.
He wanted to use Brown Group to crush Reedshaw Group. He couldn’t allow either the Reedshaw family or Reedshaw Medicine to surpass him.
A clear flicker of loathing bcrossed /bhis beyes /bwhen he bsaw /bJosie.
Audrey asked, clearly displeased, “What are you doing here? You’re not a research institute intern.
“Don’te to this ce all the time. You can’t assume you can get into the research institute just because you’re backed by the Reedshaw family.
“The research institute isn’t owned by the Reedshaw family, nor is Jeremy the one in charge. Josie, put away your little schemas Frenuentine this ce won’t help!”
