Gender Change: Turned into a Silver Haired Women in Another World
A Date with a Half-Succubus? It sure has… Endless Possibilities.
"Looks like the trash has taken itself out," Xu'er remarked, her voice devoid of its earlier teasing, now holding a note of cool satisfaction.
She then glanced towards Li Wei and Mei Lin, who were gently leading the two shaken women towards a back room, likely for more thorough care and perhaps to document the incident.
"They'll be okay. Sister Li knows how to handle these things, and they'll get compensation from the store, plus whatever we can squeeze out of that bastard Zhao's account for damages."
Su Mu nodded, relieved to hear. "That's good to know." She still felt a lingering unease from the encounter, from the cruelty she'd witnessed.
Xu'er turned her full attention back to Su Mu, the playful spark returning to her eyes as if the unpleasantness had been a mere footnote.
"Now, where were we?" she murmured, her gaze dropping to Su Mu's lips for a tantalizing second.
"Were you perhaps about to invite me somewhere more private, since you were lingering so hopefully outside my door?"
Su Mu felt her cheeks flush again, but this time it was mixed with a dawning understanding of Xu'er.
"I... I was worried," Su Mu admitted, looking down. "When I didn't see you come out with them, I thought..."
"You thought I was in trouble?" Xu'er finished for her, a genuine warmth in her voice now.
She reached out and gently tilted Su Mu's chin up, forcing her to meet those captivating purplish eyes.
"That's sweet of you, Missy. Really sweet." She leaned in a little closer. "But it takes a lot more than a spoiled rich boy to ruffle my feathers. Or my tail, if I had one." She winked.
The tension in Su Mu's shoulders eased. Xu'er was clearly more than capable.
Just then, Su Mu remembered her attribute panel. The sudden rush of potent energy had stopped when Xu'er opened the door.
Now that Xu'er was right here, exuding that vibrant, almost intoxicating vitality...
"Status," she mentally called up her status.
[ Source Power: 3.2% ]
Her eyes widened internally.
It was working again! Just by being close to Xu'er, her Empathic Siphon was drawing in energy.
It wasn't the torrent it had been when the... activities... were at their peak, but it was a steady, noticeable trickle.
"Something on your mind?" Xu'er asked, noticing the flicker of sudden happiness in her eyes. "You look like you've just discovered a new toy."
Su Mu quickly masked her surprise with a small, slightly flustered smile.
"Just... thinking about how different this place is," she said, which wasn't entirely a lie. "And how... capable everyone here is."
Xu'er's smile widened. "That's obvious," she said lightly.
"Now, since my last session was so... abruptly concluded, and you seem to have developed a habit of watching me..." she teased, her eyes glinting with mischief, "how about you buy me a drink after work? To make up for startling you."
The invitation hung in the air, bold and direct.
Su Mu, still processing the day's rollercoaster of events and the slow but steady increase of her Source Power just from Xu'er's proximity, found herself considering it.
A part of her, the Su Yang part, was wary of the half-succubus's overt confidence.
But the Su Mu part, the one who was undeniably drawn to Xu'er's vibrant energy and intrigued by this strange new world of desires, felt a hesitant thrill.
"Maybe," Su Mu found herself saying, a small, shy smile playing on her own lips. "Maybe I will."
The little number on her internal panel ticked up another fraction of a percent.
Xu'er's already wide smile somehow managed to broaden even further at Su Mu's hesitant agreement.
The playful glint in her purplish eyes intensified, and she leaned in just a fraction more, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.
"Maybe, Missy?" she echoed, a silken tease in her tone. "I like 'maybe.' It has... possibilities."
She gave Su Mu's chin one last, feather-light tap with her fingertip before gracefully stepping back, allowing Su Mu a little breathing room. "Good. It's a date then. Don't keep a girl waiting too long after closing."
With another wink that promised all sorts of unspoken things, Xu'er turned with a fluid sway of her hips and headed towards the back, likely to freshen up or attend to other duties, leaving Su Mu standing there with a rapidly beating heart and a head full of conflicting thoughts.
"A date?" Su Mu mouthed silently to herself, the word feeling foreign and electrifying all at once.
The Su Yang part of her was practically screaming, 'A date with a half-Succubus who looks like that and just offered to... well, never mind what she offered! This is insane!' He'd always been more of a quiet, stay-at-home kind of guy, his romantic experiences non-existent.
But the Su Mu part, the one who was still marveling at the gentle curve of her own hands, the softness of her skin, and the undeniable allure of the woman who had just invited her out, felt a confusing flutter.
It wasn't just apprehension; there was a definite thrill, a curiosity that was hard to ignore.
Xu'er was beautiful, confident, and exuded an energy that was almost intoxicating.
And Lingxi... Lingxi was sweet, a gentle warmth, a budding affection that felt safe and precious.
"This is... complicated," Su Mu murmured, running a hand through her silver hair.
Her internal panel, however, was blissfully uncomplicated, still ticking up slowly.

"At least some things are straightforward," she sighed, a small smile playing on her lips.
The prospect of gaining more Source Power was a definite motivator, and if spending a little time with Xu'er helped with that... well, it was for her cultivation, right?
The rest of the workday at RomantiX passed in a relative blur.
There were a few more customers, mostly women or couples, browsing the various products.
Su Mu handled her cashier duties with increasing confidence, the initial awkwardness of her outfit fading slightly as she focused on the tasks.
Mei Lin offered friendly advice, and even Jia Li and Xiao Fei shared a few smiles and encouraging words.
Li Wei returned from the back, her expression composed as always, though Su Mu thought she detected a hint of weariness in her eyes.
The two women Young Master Zhao had abused were, apparently, resting and would be given time off.
The store's atmosphere, while still professional, felt a little more subdued.
Throughout it all, Su Mu kept a subtle, inner watch on her attribute panel.
The Empathic Siphon continued its quiet work.
When customers were experiencing strong emotions – excitement over a new purchase, a flicker of nervousness, or even just the general buzz of a couple out shopping – her Source Power would inch up a tiny bit faster.
It wasn't the torrent she'd experienced near Xu'er's peak activities, but it was a consistent, small gain.
During this time, she also found that her energy absorption ability has some limitations, like a maximum radius of 150 meters.
Within this area, she can absorb energy from others; the farther the source, the slower the speed of absorption.
However, outside this 150-meter radius, she can only absorb energy from individuals experiencing very strong emotional fluctuations, with some energy loss.
She also took moments, when no one was watching, to discreetly use her Insight Digitization.
She'd focus on a passing customer, trying to get a quick read.
Most were unawakened or had very low spiritual energy, their panels showing basic emotional states and sometimes amusingly mundane "notable traits" or unwanted information like "Prone to indecision when faced with more than three lingerie options" or "Secretly enjoys cheesy romance novels."
It was fascinating.
She was learning to filter the information, to pick out what was relevant.
The ability felt like an extension of her own senses, a way to perceive the subtle undercurrents of the world around her.
