"You should hurry up and go eat!" Lu Xingzhi thought that he hadn’t had lunch yet and added, "You need to take care of yourself too."

"You didn’t intentionally find one. I know usually those rivals present themselves. Since Han Chengran gave you something to eat, how do you plan to return the favor?" Huo Jincheng opened the lunch Wei Yang had bought but didn’t start eating immediately; he stirred a few pieces of greens absentmindedly.

"I’m inviting him to dinner tomorrow." Lu Xingzhi’s charming voice sounded.

Upon hearing Lu Xingzhi’s response, Huo Jincheng stopped in his tracks with the chopsticks.

In his view, it would have been better just to buy something as repayment.

There’s really no need to invite someone to dinner.

"Do you want me to accompany you?" Huo Jincheng lightly coughed; he was more than willing to appear as her fiancé.

"No need, it’s just a meal after all." Lu Xingzhi declined, unaware of Huo Jincheng’s thoughts.

He wanted to accompany her.
