Genshin x Minecraft: Building the Temple of Virtue
Chapter 412: 412: The Bard Who Refused to Fight
Tartaglia clenched his fists seriously.
"The Foul Legacy is the strongest attack method my Abyss Eyes can produce."
"Generally speaking, if I activate my Abyss Eyes' Foul Legacy, it lasts at most about five minutes."
"If I go any longer, I wouldn't be able to handle it, and the Abyss Eye's energy wouldn't be enough."
"But today, I kept my Foul Legacy active for over half an hour, and my body didn't even feel that intense tearing sensation."
"The Abyss Eyes, after being enchanted, truly underwent an unparalleled qualitative transformation!"
Saying this, Tartaglia glanced at his now slightly dimmed Abyss Eyes and shook his head.
"Although durability has been enhanced, long-term and large-scale usage will still cause the Abyss Eye's energy to lag behind."
"Right now, my Abyss Eyes' elemental energy is depleted again."
Ryen didn't pay much attention to this.
"The Abyss Eyes also have the Experience Repair enchantment. Just now, you were only sparring, so you didn't activate that enchantment."
"Normally, if you were on a large battlefield, using the Abyss Eyes to harvest monsters,
as long as you can endure it, the Abyss Eyes' energy would be endless."
Tartaglia nodded slightly, deep in thought.
"So I plan to try again later, and see if I can maintain long-term combat here at Mount Aocang."
Ningguang lightly tapped her fingers on the table, pondering:
"When you were using the Abyss Eyes just now, how did your body react?"
Tartaglia was silent for a moment, then said softly:
"Compared to before, the effect is somewhat mitigated."
"But for ordinary people, it's still unbearable."
"Perhaps it's because of the special nature of my Foul Legacy. In any case, when activating the Foul Legacy, there's still a strong tearing sensation in the body."
Ningguang nodded thoughtfully.
"So, pairing it with a continuous Life Recovery Potion is the best choice?"
Tartaglia nodded decisively.
"Exactly. Drinking the Life Recovery Potion almost completely negates the Abyss Eye's life-draining side effects."
"The duration for which the Abyss Eyes can be active is greatly extended."
"As for the residual corruption from Archons when using the Abyss Eyes, milk can also easily counter it."
"It sounds a bit troublesome, but in the end, it allows the Abyss Eyes to be activated without side effects."
Diluc crossed his arms, calmly saying:
"Troublesome? Compared to having a second elemental power, and Abyss Eyes that are enhanced at that,
this is hardly troublesome at all."
Ningguang also nodded and softly said:
"In that case, our Abyss Eye factory should be set up as soon as possible to start producing Abyss Eyes.
If you need Abyss Eyes of any specific element, let us know in advance."
No one refused.
A single Abyss Eye that basically has no side effects is naturally worth pursuing.
Ryen stretched and cheerfully looked at Venti.
"Interested in taking on another round?"
Instantly, Venti became excited.
"Who? No problem!"
Ryen rubbed his wrist and said softly:
"Come spar with me."
"…"
Venti's expression froze. After a long pause, he averted his gaze, looking pained:
"No way! Just now, sparring with Tartaglia, I got injured!"
Ryen rolled his eyes and teased:
"Weren't you dominating him the whole time? Injured by the Void? Don't stall—here, twenty bottles of wine for you!"
"This isn't about wine!"
Venti tilted his head back and argued passionately:
"Sparring with Tartaglia, I get happiness and rewards!
Sparring with you, I might end up in a coffin! I need to be alive to enjoy the wine!"
Ryen smirked.
"Exaggerate much?
Don't you have any idea of your own strength?"
Venti retorted:
"What if you go overboard and punch me!"
"Wait… you're not seriously planning that, are you?
You want to knock me out, and then, like that Archon you captured, exploit my power to make Abyss Eyes?"
Venti glared at Ryen warily. Ryen shrugged.
"Friends, right? We're friends! How could I do that to you!
I just want to test my seven Abyss Eyes!"
Venti snorted.
"Not a chance! Go ask the old man!"
Just then, Zhongli, who had been quietly sipping tea, lifted his head, his gaze deep as he looked at Venti, and said softly:
"I also got hurt."
"…"
Ryen gave Zhongli a cheeky middle finger and abandoned the idea.
Looks like no one is willing to be his sparring partner.
He would have to find time to practice Abyss Eye elemental techniques by himself downstairs.
For him, though, it was pretty easy.
The Abyss Eyes are very similar to the Divine Eyes—both rely heavily on subjective, mental control.
That means Ryen could experiment with a lot of flashy techniques.
Not much more than… fully automated skill spamming!
After watching so many anime before, it wasn't wasted.
At worst…
He could make another trip to the Dark Sea!
There are plenty of obedient Archons there, and Ryen absolutely loves it!
