Getting a Sugar Mommy in Cultivation World!!
Chapter 753: Leaving
CHAPTER 753: CHAPTER 753: LEAVING
After lunch the next day, Noah helped Yu Ming with her cultivation technique as Xin Yan sat in meditation, working on her sword cultivation.
At that time, no one was aware that Noah had spread his soul sense throughout EverDawn City.
He was scouring for information while carefully ignoring people’s right to privacy—just kidding, he was merely looking for the hidden families and where they lived.
While he was at it, Noah searched for the information on the Zhao family and the man Yu Ming was supposed to get engaged to.
It was only then that he realized that the descendant named Zhao Yanchen was not in the family currently. Apparently, he had been sent out on a secret mission with someone from the Ling family.
’Maybe it was the dipshit I met outside.’ Noah wondered about this in his mind before shrugging it off. He did not care much about the man or his identity, so there was no point wasting time thinking about him.
He turned his focus on Yu Ming, who was performing the sets of moves she had suddenly found appearing in her mind the day she left Noah in the Tian Ren Empire. As soon as she stepped into the portal, she felt information streaming into her mind.
The Sacred Elemental Body.
This was the name of the technique that she had found in her mind, and she instantly understood the source it came from, Noah.
Who could it be if not him?
She thought to herself at that time and seriously worked hard on practicing it and reaching her current state.
The Sacred Elemental Body was a technique meant only for cultivators with rare physiques—people whose bodies had a natural connection to the elements of nature. It wasn’t just about controlling water or fire. It was about becoming one with them.
The first step was opening five special channels inside the body—each tied to a different element: water, fire, earth, wind, and lightning.
Yu Ming had already opened all of them and was currently focusing on controlling them to nourish her body.
The Sacred Elemental Body wasn’t like other techniques. It didn’t give you flashy spells or let you summon storms on command—at least not at the start.
Instead, it reshaped the user.
It turned their body into a vessel that harmonized with the elements, not just manipulated them.
Water didn’t answer their call—it flowed through your veins.
Fire didn’t burn at the fingertips—it kindled deep in the core.
Wind, Earth, and Lightning—each element had to be invited in, accepted, and then used to nourish and temper the body itself.
Yu Ming had already opened all five elemental channels. That alone was impressive. Most people with rare physiques would be lucky to open two or three in a lifetime. But she had gone farther, pushing through the pain and imbalance to bring all five into her body.
Now came the difficult part.
She had to balance them.
Too much lightning, and her nervous system would fray. Too much earth, and her movements would become sluggish. Fire made her restless, wind made her unstable, and water—though the most natural to her—could flood her meridians if left unchecked.
Noah watched her move through the forms slowly, silently correcting her posture or flow with the slightest glance or shift in his aura.
And since she was trying to balance the elements, her cultivation did not progress further, but it did start to become more solidified and unshakable.
As the sun dipped low and bathed the courtyard in golden light, Yu Ming finished the last of her movements. Her chest rose and fell steadily as she stood still, sweat glistening on her brow.
Noah watched her quietly and gave a small nod.
"You’re getting better," he said.
Yu Ming gave a tired grin. "Well, I do have a pretty good teacher."
Nearby, Xin Yan opened her eyes from meditation and stretched her arms.
"Time for dinner," she said, her voice calm.
Yu Ming looked around, surprised. "It’s already that late?" The long shadows of the trees nearby made it clear how long it had been since she started practicing.
Noah stood up and brushed off his robe.
"Let’s go eat."
The three of them returned to the Yu family’s dining hall, where Matriarch Yu Meilin was already seated under glowing lanterns.
Dinner was simple but elegant—flavored rice, steamed herbs, roasted spirit beast meat, and sweet plum wine.
No one said much, but the quiet between them felt warm. Even though Yu Meilin didn’t show it, it was clear she’d made sure her daughter’s guests were well taken care of.
Yu Ming tried to get her mother to smile or say something nice, but the matriarch remained cool and expressionless as always.
Still, that was just her way. And somehow, it made things feel normal.
The next few days passed in the same rhythm—training in the morning, resting in the afternoon, and dinner in the evening. It was peaceful, and though no one said it, none of them really wanted it to end.
But the day of their departure finally arrived.
The sky was clear, and the air was crisp.
In the courtyard, the jade carriage stood ready, drawn by an invisible force.
Yu Meilin stood waiting, arms crossed, her usual serious expression in place.
Without a word, she walked up to Yu Ming and placed a spatial ring in her palm.
Yu Ming looked at her, confused.
"What’s this?"
"Protective artifacts," her mother said flatly. "Use them properly. Don’t lose them. Don’t sell them. Don’t get into trouble. And if you do, end it quickly."
She folded her arms again.
"Also—talk less. You talk too much."
Yu Ming laughed, her eyes a little teary.
"You really know how to say goodbye."
Yu Meilin didn’t respond. She looked away.
She wasn’t one for hugs or sweet words. But even in her silence, Yu Ming could feel how much her mother cared.
Noah stepped forward and gave a polite nod.
"Thank you for trusting her with us."
"I don’t," Yu Meilin replied bluntly. "But I trust her not to act stupid. Don’t make me regret this."
Xin Yan calmly assured while Mo Ji quietly stood on the side like Ai. "She’ll be fine."
With that, the group boarded the carriage.
As it began to roll away, Yu Ming leaned out one last time to look back.
