CHAPTER 277: UNINVITED GUEST [1]

"Hahaha..."

Dhayun’s soft giggle escaped as her body wriggled faintly in his grasp.

She was sitting neatly on Brandon’s lap with his arms coiled firmly around her waist, not letting her escape even if she wanted to.

His chest pressed against her back while he leaned lazily against the chair.

He buried his face into the curve of her neck, inhaling her faintly sweet scent before brushing his lips along her skin.

The contact made her twitch and a soft gasp slipped past her lips before another breathless giggle followed "W-Woonie...!" she whispered in protest.

Brandon tightened his hug around her, pulling her snugger against him as his lips trailed to the side of her neck.

"Sit still," he murmured as hand rested possessively on her stomach.

When he leaned up again, his eyes caught the delicate shape of her ear, the pointed, elegant curve of her elkf ear caused by her body mutation.

He smiled faintly and brushed her hair to tuck a strand aside before lowering his head "I love this body mutation of yours..." he whispered as his lips grazed against the sensitive edge.

The moment his breath touched her ear, Dhayun’s body stiffened and a shiver jolted down her spine, her face flushing deeply as her pointed ears quivered "D-Don’t say it like that..."

His lips pressed against the tip, before he gently kissed her ear again "It’s beautiful... Makes you even more unique."

"Woonie..." Dhayun’s voice broke as her ears reddened fully.

Brandon opened his mouth and bit softly at the sensitive tip.

"Ah—!" she gasped and quickly covered her mouth with one hand as if to muffle herself.

Her heart thumped wildly, overwhelmed by the new wave of tingling heat.

Her entire ears turned beet red now, betraying her reaction no matter how much she tried to hide it.

Brandon chuckled against her ear, "You’re so sensitive here..." he teased, enjoying the way she trembled against him.

His lips softened against her sensitive ear, and he finally pulled back, smiling at the flushed expression painted across Dhayun’s face.

Her chest rose and fell quickly, and her hand trembled slightly as she pressed it against his chest.

"You’re too cruel sometimes, Woonie..."

He chuckled under his breath, brushing his nose along her temple before kissing her cheek, "Cruel? No... I just like seeing you melt like this, Noona."

Her cheeks turned even redder, and before she could answer, he caught her lips with his lips.

The kiss was gentle at first until Dhayun’s hand slid up the back of his neck, pulling him closer.

Her lips parted slightly, inviting him and he wasted no time accepting the invitation.

Their mouths moved together and their tongues brushed tentatively at first before deepening.

She let out a muffled gasp against him as his hand slid to her waist, pulling her flush against his chest.

The chair creaked softly beneath them, but neither paid it any mind.

Brandon tilted his head, kissing her harder and their tongues tangled, making them breathless.

Dhayun whimpered faintly into the kiss, clutching at his shirt.

When they finally broke apart, a thin strand of saliva connected their lips.

Dhayun leaned her forehead against his, and her eyes were half lidded "Fuck you... you always kiss me like you’re trying to steal my soul."

Brandon grinned and leaned forward, stealing a playful peck from her lips "Because your lips are so soft, Noona,"

Dhayun’s laughter bubbled up, her shoulders trembling slightly as her cheeks flushed.

She swatted his chest weakly, though she didn’t move away from his lap.

The smile on his face softened as he kept his eyes fixed on her, his thumb brushing along the line of her jaw.

For a moment, neither of them spoke, just enjoying the silence and the closeness.

Then Brandon’s expression grew more serious tension as he murmured, "Noona, I want to ask you something..."

Dhayun tilted her head, strands of her hair falling lightly across her face.

She tucked them back behind her ear with delicate fingers before giving him a sweet smile. "What is it? Do you want something from Noona?"

But his gaze condensed and he hesitated, then let the words slip out "Noona... you know... well, I already have Eira as my girlfriend."

The smile on her lips faltered and her eyes quivered faintly as she lowered her gaze.

She fiddled nervously with the hem of his sleeve, "Hmm... yeah, and we are in a secret relationship right now, what about it... d-do you want to brea-"

Brandon leaned in and kissed her, silencing her "Shut up, idiot. Don’t say that."

Dhayun blinked at him and he brushed his thumb across her cheek, holding her gaze as he continued "Listen to me, Noona... what do you think about-"

*TAK* *TAK* *TAK* *TAK*

What? Both of them were confused by the sudden loud noises.

Brandon’s gaze condensed in confusion "Helicopter?"

Dhayun looked equally startled, her body stiffening in his lap. "Helicopter?" she muttered, tilting her head upward as if to make sure she wasn’t imagining things.

Brandon’s arms instinctively tightened around Dhayun’s waist, pulling her closer.

"Who is coming here late evening?"

Looking at Dhayun, he muttered "Come on, let’s go and take a look."

Dhayun slowly nodded her head and got down from his lap "Alright."

Brandon walked down the stairs and looked at Elize, who was casually sitting on the couch "Aunt Elize, the noises outside."

She let out a soft sigh and replied "Go and see for yourself."

Brandon exchanged a glance with Dhayun, then exited the room.

The cool evening air rushed against him as he stepped out into the open and he squinted against the wind.

High above, a modern ethercraft glowed faintly.

Brandon walked a little further out to the grassland just beyond the fence of the house.

The field bent under the sudden pressure of the wind as the copter neared the ground, blowing his dark hair back violently.

His shirt clung faintly to his chest, the gust outlining his body.

Dhayun stayed close behind him, her eyes narrowing slightly and her sharp elf ears twitched at the unnatural hum of ether-reactors stabilizing the vehicle "Who...?"

From the other side of the field, Yverine and Eira appeared from their little stroll in the fields.

They approached quickly and Yverin4 crossed her arms, while Eira shielded her face from the heavy gust.

The ethercraft descended slowly, landing with a soft mechanical thud as the lights along its sides dimmed down.

The blades slowed gradually, but not before sending one last rush of wind across the grass.

And then the door opened.
