Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All
Chapter 852: Yu Mei’s End-3
CHAPTER 852: CHAPTER 852: YU MEI’S END-3
Yu Holea took a slow breath.
"I mean," she said calmly, "the girl you love... the one you think is Yu Mei... she’s not who you think she is. Her body is Yu Mei’s, yes. But the soul inside her? Her name is Mirai."
Leng Huan’s eyes widened.
"What... what are you talking about?"
"She’s not Yu Mei," Yu Holea repeated. "The soul inside her body is someone else. Mirai. She’s the one you fell in love with. Not the real Yu Mei."
Leng Huan looked at her like she had gone mad.
"You’re lying," he said quickly. "You’re just saying crazy things to make me give up!"
Yu Holea chuckled softly. "If I wanted to make you give up, I’d just tell you Yu Mei’s dead. I’m telling you the truth because I want you to make a choice."
Leng Huan froze. "Choice?"
"Yes." Her voice was calm, but her eyes were sharp. "Do you love her body... or her soul? Which one matters more to you?"
Leng Huan opened his mouth... then stopped. His face twisted in shock.
After a long pause, he said in a quiet voice, "I love the soul. I don’t care what body she’s in. I love her."
Yu Holea raised an eyebrow and nodded. "Good answer."
But then her expression turned serious.
"I have her soul," she said. "But I’m not planning to let her go that easily. Mirai did a lot of evil things. She has to pay for them."
Leng Huan’s voice got louder. "You can’t keep her locked up like that! If you don’t give her back, I’ll go to the special forces and report you!"
Yu Holea raised her hand and smiled calmly. "You do know... I’m the Vice President of the Special Force Office, right?"
Leng Huan’s eyes widened in disbelief.
"What?! How is that even possible?!"
Yu Holea gave him a smug look. "It’s been three years. I worked hard. I earned it. Don’t worry, I don’t need your congratulations."
Leng Huan was speechless. His mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water. Finally, he pointed at her and shouted,
"I’m not congratulating you! I’m warning you! If you don’t give me back Mirai, I’ll go straight to the President himself!"
Yu Holea’s smile faded a little, and she was about to say something when,
A deep voice suddenly cut in from behind.
"You don’t need to go to anyone," the voice said calmly. "Because I won’t allow any actions against my own wife."
They both turned around.
Standing there was Qiao Jun.
His tall figure blocked the sunlight. His eyes were calm but serious. His gaze locked onto Leng Huan’s.
Leng Huan’s face paled. "You...!"
Qiao Jun stepped closer and put a protective hand on Yu Holea’s shoulder.
"Yu Holea is my wife," he said slowly.
"And Mirai is her responsibility now. So whatever punishment Mirai receives... will be handled by my family and hers. You have no say in this."
Leng Huan clenched his fists. "But I love her! Doesn’t that matter?!"
Qiao Jun’s face didn’t change. "Love doesn’t erase sins."
Leng Huan was not ready to give up.
Even after being warned by Qiao Jun, he kept protesting.
Day after day, he stood in front of the Special Force Office, holding a sign and yelling that Vice President Yu Holea was hiding the soul of his beloved. He didn’t care about people staring.
He didn’t care that his voice was going hoarse. All he cared about was getting Mirai back.
At first, everyone ignored him. But then... some people started whispering. A few of Yu Holea’s enemies, who didn’t like her rise to power, heard about the protest.
These people held important positions in the Special Force Office, and they saw this as a chance to pull her down.
One afternoon, a group of officers walked straight into Yu Holea’s office. Their leader, a strict-looking woman named Hanling, slammed her hand on the table.
"Vice President Yu," she said sharply.
"We’ve come to ask for an explanation. How can someone like you, who represents law and justice, keep a soul locked away without following any legal process?"
Yu Holea didn’t even blink. She leaned back in her chair, calm as ever.
"Excuse me?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "When did I ever say I had a soul locked away?"
Hanling frowned and turned to look at Leng Huan, who had followed them in.
"She’s lying!" Leng Huan shouted. "She told me! She said the soul inside Yu Mei’s body isn’t really Yu Mei—it’s Mirai! She admitted it!"
Yu Holea looked at him with cool eyes.
"I said the soul inside wasn’t Yu Mei’s," she replied. "But did I ever say I had the soul with me now?"
Leng Huan’s face went pale. He opened his mouth to speak but... nothing came out. He realized something.
He had no proof.
No photos. No videos. No voice recordings. Just Yu Holea’s words. And now she was acting like she never claimed anything.
His head started to spin. Was she messing with me all along? Or... is she afraid now and lying?
Hanling stepped forward again, her voice full of anger.
"You’re the Vice President. Lying like this is dangerous. You need to tell the truth."
Yu Holea’s smile dropped. She looked at Hanling and said coldly,
"You should remember your rank before raising your voice at me. I don’t need your approval to do my job."
Hanling’s face turned pale. She understood what Yu Holea meant.
This was a warning. If she pushed too far, Yu Holea had the power to fire her, or worse.
But Hanling wasn’t ready to give up. She took a deep breath and asked again,
"Just give us a direct answer. Do you have the soul or not? You never denied it clearly. So tell us now."
There was silence.
Then, before Yu Holea could say anything, Qiao Jun walked in.
He looked calm and powerful, wearing his dark uniform with the President’s badge shining on his chest.
"Yes," he said. "Yu Holea has the soul."
Gasps filled the room. Everyone turned to look at him.
"But she didn’t take it on her own," Qiao Jun added. "I asked her to hold the soul. I gave her permission."
Leng Huan looked shocked. Hanling’s eyes widened in disbelief.
"You... You’re just protecting your wife!" Hanling shouted. "You’re using your power to cover for her!"
Another officer growled,
"So the great President Qiao Jun is just a wife-slave now?! Is your loyalty to your girlfriend stronger than your loyalty to the law?!"
Qiao Jun didn’t get angry. He nodded.
"I understand your concern," he said. "That’s why I brought these."
He pulled out a folder and laid it flat on the table.
Everyone leaned in. Inside were stamped documents, official papers.
"These are permission slips signed by the High Council," Qiao Jun said.
"They show that Mirai’s actions, stealing a body, hurting the Yu family, and leading attacks, broke several serious laws. According to the rules, her punishment should be severe."
He paused and then looked directly at Hanling.
"But because Yu Holea has done many heroic things for this country over the last three years, she was granted the right to handle Mirai’s case personally, as a reward."
Hanling’s face turned white. Leng Huan took a step back, completely shocked.
The proof was real. The papers were real.
That meant...
Yu Holea wasn’t doing anything wrong.
She had every legal right to keep Mirai’s soul. And no one, not even Leng Huan, could stop her.
The office went quiet. No one dared speak. Even Hanling lowered her head.
Yu Holea clapped her hands once, loud and clear. The sound echoed in the tense room. She stood up slowly and looked straight at Hanling, her cold eyes sharp like a knife.
"Well," she said calmly, "since this matter is almost resolved... I think it’s time we talk about your punishment."
Hanling blinked. "What?"
Yu Holea tilted her head slightly, like a teacher about to scold a naughty student.
"You barged into the Vice President’s office, with no official complaint, no permission, and started shouting and accusing me. Shouldn’t there be consequences for that?"
Hanling looked shocked.
"I... I was only trying to help this poor guy!" she said quickly, pointing at Leng Huan. "He looked so heartbroken, and I just wanted to help him get justice."
Yu Holea raised an eyebrow.
"Help? Then you should’ve followed the proper process. File a complaint. Wait for a hearing. But no... You acted like this place belongs to you, not me."
The room went silent.
Everyone realized it now: Hanling and her group had crossed the line.
They had underestimated Yu Holea’s power and authority. And now... they had to pay for it.
Yu Holea smiled coldly. "Since you’re all so eager... and you think you’re clever enough to question your Vice President, then I have the perfect task for you."
Hanling’s smile faded. Her hands tightened into fists.
