CHAPTER 189: THE BIG BOSS OF THE BANDIT CAMP

Step! Step!

A tall figure with crimson hair and striking blue eyes was walking through the streets of the bandit camp.

The figure’s posture was slightly slumped, however, if one paid any attention to him, they could easily tell he was refined.

Unfortunately, no one did, as they were more concerned about themselves and their survival.

Naturally, this person was Gabriel, and he was slowly heading toward the luxurious buildings where the boss of this camp resided.

His crimson hair fell carelessly around his temple, hiding the hateful spark in his eye.

It was just as he had predicted. Most of the bandits appeared wasted and wobbly, a few of them even asleep. It would still be some hours before they fully regained their senses.

"You have one single job, and you can’t even do it!"

SLAP!

One of the bandits swung his massive hand and slapped a young kid.

Gabriel ignored them and continued pushing forward, that was until he sensed a presence behind him.

He didn’t turn around immediately, despite knowing this person had bad intent.

Why? Because he was confident that a lowly bandit wouldn’t be able to harm him.

"Stop lazing around and get to work!" the bandit bellowed and struck.

As if he could read the bandit, Gabriel sidestepped, making the attack hit nothing but air.

A look of embarrassment shone in the bandit’s eyes, and his face boiled with fury. He quickly went in for yet another attack, this time with his sword.

FWOOOSH!

Before he could even cover the distance, an arrow flew from nowhere and struck him right through the skull, splattering brain and matter.

Even in death, that guard’s eyes were still wide in shock.

At that moment, the other bandits noticed, and panic spread within their midst.

"Where did that come from?"

"Are we under attack?"

While they were panicking and looking around, hoping to find where the attack had come from, in another part of the wooden walls crouched the sniperBowLegend—who conjured yet another mana arrow that contained about 30 MP. He aimed it at the gate of the boss’s mansion.

His eyes narrowed as he drew the string like a seasoned hunter stalking his prey.

After the sudden death of the bandit, the others were too busy searching for the shooter, so no one paid attention to Gabriel.

Until he arrived at the gate of the boss’s mansion.

The gate was manned by two fearsome-looking guards who seemed to be in their early 30s and 40s.

From their swords and attire, they screamed warriors.

"Lad, are you lost? This place is a designated area. Get lost right now!" the first guard warned.

However, Gabriel didn’t stop and only proceeded, acting as though they were air.

The second guard frowned. "Are you deaf? Shoo from here, if not we wou—"

FWOOOSH! BOOM!

A bluish arrow struck the gate, and a mini explosion occurred, blowing it open and startling the guards.

The two stumbled back, coughing from the blast. Their eyes darted from the ruined entrance to Gabriel, who stood calmly amid the chaos.

"What... what just happened?" the first guard muttered, gripping his sword tighter.

Gabriel tilted his head, his electric-blue eyes gleaming faintly beneath his messy crimson hair. He didn’t bother answering. Instead, he stepped forward.

"Oi! Sound the alarm!" the older guard barked, trying to mask his rising fear.

But before the words could spread, another arrow whistled through the air—this one cutting clean through the man’s throat.

He collapsed to the ground, clutching at his neck as blood poured out.

The remaining guard’s courage shattered instantly. He turned to run, but Gabriel’s hand shot out like lightning, seizing his collar.

"Too late," Gabriel muttered coldly. With a twist of his wrist, he slammed the man into the stone wall beside the gate. The crunch of bones breaking rang out before the guard slumped lifeless to the ground.

Behind him, the camp was in chaos. Bandits shouted, running in circles, still searching for the hidden sniper. Fires spread from the shattered gate, casting wild shadows across the buildings.

"Stop him, he probably knows something!"

At those words, dozens of armed bandits rushed toward Gabriel.

At another part of the camp, the west wing where there were over 20 armed bandits—

SLASH! SLASH!

"Aghhhhhhhh, motherfuckerrr!" A painful roar erupted from one of the bandits as his arm was cut off.

"You bastard deserve pain far worse than this!" Ragnarok99 snickered, finishing the bandit off with another attack.

"Be careful with him, he’s an Otherworlder... these sons of bitches can’t die!" reminded a woman dressed like a mage.

This woman had spiky purple hair and eyes, and she stayed at the rear. In front of her, bandits surged forward with battle cries.

So far, she had proved to be the most troublesome person among this bunch.

Ragnarok99’s expression twisted as he got rid of more bandits in his path.

Inside the mansion’s reinforced chambers, a long table stretched across the room. The table was filled with monitors showcasing different parts of the camp—five different screens specifically—but the largest screen depicted the crimson-haired youth destroying dozens of bandits as if he were taking a stroll in the park.

At the far end of the table, a young man with the features of a delinquent sat. He had two beautiful women seated on his lap, showering him with kisses.

These two were the most beautiful women in the camp and, naturally, as the big boss, he made them part of his harem.

Behind him stood a tall figure, unusually tall—at least seven feet—with a dark shadow covering his face.

As he looked at the monitor before him, at the crimson-haired youth walking with calm that felt almost unnatural, a smirk couldn’t help but appear on the boss’s face.

"I didn’t expect the MVP of the Interguild Event to show up so soon. Bai Young, it seems you might finally have the worthy opponent you’ve been searching for all this while."
