CHAPTER 192: GABRIEL VS BAI YOUNG [LAST]
"Dragon Phantom Strike!" Bai Young roared, his voice thundering as he struck forward.
Golden qi energy flared from his arm, forming the phantom outline of a roaring dragon. He swung his fist down like a hammer, the dragon’s head lunging with it.
"Burrow Shift!!" Gabriel shouted at the nick of time, and under Bai Young’s astonished eyes, he vanished underground.
Meanwhile... BOOM!
The phantom strike slammed the ground, splitting it wide open—at least twenty meters deep. Gabriel appeared right behind Bai Young, Crimson Judgement in his grasp, and swung it fiercely.
Shing! BANG!
However, the same barrier skill from before enveloped him, stopping the attack, but this time cracks appeared on it.
"Sneaky bastard!" the martial warrior cursed, kicking the ground to create some distance.
Gabriel tightened his grip on the sword and dashed in, slashing violently. The blade tore through the air, causing ripple after ripple.
Sweat glistened on Bai Young’s face as he struggled to parry the attacks. He had coated his skin with qi to minimize the impact and reduce the loss of his health points.
Whenever Crimson Judgement and Bai Young’s qi-coated arms clashed, a deafening boom echoed. With every attack, Bai Young realized just how powerful Gabriel was, and how naive he had been to think he could easily deal with someone with so much strength!
...which didn’t make any sense at all! He was Hero Rank with at least 600 base stats!

[CRITICAL HIT]
Gabriel frowned. He wasn’t dealing sufficient damage, and it was because of the strange skin-hardening technique his opponent was using.
Suddenly, he had an idea. But before he could implement it, Bai Young abruptly disengaged, panting like an exhausted dog who had run a marathon for days.
His body was drenched, dripping with sweat as though he had just stepped out of a shower.
"The fight hasn’t even lasted ten minutes yet. A former disciple of Champion Bai Tian couldn’t possibly be this weak. Or am I just too strong for you to handle?" Gabriel mocked, his free hand behind his back.
"Too strong, hahaha?" Bai Young laughed, anxiety creeping into his voice. He waved his hands, and two curved swords with golden details appeared in his grasp.
"Gold rank treasures." Gabriel’s eyes widened slightly when he saw the weapons his opponent had suddenly pulled out.
Bai Young poured dozens of qi points into the blades until they radiated an intense golden glow, bright enough to blind anyone who stared too long.
With the blades in his hands, his confidence soared. These were his most precious possessions, and they had always come through for him whenever he summoned them in extreme cases.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
He swung the blades in a wide arc, releasing two golden rays. Gabriel dodged the first and the second. He didn’t look back to see the outcome, but the massive explosion behind him told him how destructive the attack was.
’As expected of a Gold Rank treasure!’ he sucked in a cold breath.
Meanwhile, Bai Young wasn’t disappointed that his attacks had missed. Those weren’t meant to finish his opponent off—they were just testing the waters.
Before Gabriel could close the distance, Bai Young bent low, his feet digging trenches in the ground.
"Bull Rush!" he exclaimed. Then—BANG—he shot forward like a maddened bull, qi wrapping around him. His charge ripped through debris, closing the distance in an instant.
The roles reversed. Bai Young was now on the offensive while Gabriel slipped back to the defensive. He attacked furiously and violently, and Gabriel matched his tempo.
This sword wasn’t just destructive—it also increased the wielder’s strength tremendously.
Gabriel kicked back, firing a Dark Flame Orb from his fingers. But the sword easily cut through the attack, absorbing its energy as the radiant glow intensified.
’It can devour my attacks and empower itself?’ Gabriel became even more curious about the weapon.
Some time later, Bunny and Ragnarok99 finished dealing with the mage alongside Anna and arrived at the scene.
Outside the tower where the boss resided, wide craters emitting smoke could be seen everywhere. And right in the middle of the chaos, two figures fought fiercely as if their lives were on the line.
Bai Young’s attacks were all destructive, the shockwaves reaching the onlookers. However, Gabriel didn’t seem to be at too much of a disadvantage either.
Still, they noticed he was strangely defending more than attacking.
Naturally, Bunny’s livestream commentary was still on, but the viewers could hardly follow the fight. All they saw were flashes of red and gold.
[What’s that blade? Why is it glowing so much!]
[That shouldn’t be the problem... is he the bandit leader?]
[Bunny, say something! Stop keeping us in suspense!]
Bunny frowned and addressed her viewers. "Just like you, I’m just as clueless. I have no idea if this person is the bandit leader or not."
BANG! BANG!
"Hahahaha! For a moment, I thought I was about to lose to a rookie like you." Bai Young laughed, the previous anxiety he felt completely gone.
He looked like he was having the time of his life, eyes reflecting madness and lust for battle.
Suddenly, he made a blunder. One of his swords flew into the air. Gabriel quickly glanced up at its trajectory.
"Fool! Got you!" Bai Young laughed loudly as he brought his hands together.
"Dragon’s Grip!"
His massive hand, wrapped in qi, clamped onto Gabriel’s arm like an iron vice. The grip squeezed, threatening to crush bone, and Gabriel’s HP dropped.

Gabriel didn’t flinch when Bai Young’s hand clamped onto him.
Though his HP points were dropping, a faint smile tugged at his lips.
"You really thought grabbing me was a good idea?"
Bai Young froze. His eyes widened as he suddenly felt something cold and unnatural creeping up his palm.
Gabriel’s free hand—the one he had hidden earlier—was glowing with a faint black aura.
The [Decay] skill spread slowly across Bai Young’s body, eating his flesh away gradually.
The martial warrior’s eyes widened in disbelief.
"Son of a bitch!"
