CHAPTER 326: FLOOR 99(2)

Back inside the tower... on floor 95.

Scarlet stood in the middle of dozens of vampire corpses, her blade dripping with blood and merging with the puddle beneath her feet as it slowly flowed downward.

Behind her were her guildmates—Brunt, Lilly, Alice, and a few others who didn’t look like they could put up any real fight anymore. They were drenched in sweat, their breaths heavy and shaky.

Even though their will and determination were strong, their bodies were clearly weak.

Because of this weakness, the other three guilds had advanced forward, leaving them behind.

"Sister..." Alice called out softly. "Can we sti—"

"We can’t," Sophie replied in a cold and calm voice.

Some of those who still wanted to continue had their eyes widen. They wanted to protest, but they knew she was telling the truth.

They really couldn’t. The others were already on Floor 99, probably battling the bosses to gain access to the final room.

Meanwhile, they weren’t even done with the monsters on this floor.

Scarlet wasn’t a brute like Gabriel who would rush into danger even when his life was at risk. She preferred to step back and return only when they were strong enough.

She knew when to stop... and when to continue.

And she knew there was no way to catch up now.

They had clearly lost this time around.

She had already anticipated the media spreading claims like: because Gabriel wasn’t part of them, the Adventurer Guild had lost, or that him reaching Floor 99 was indirectly proving that he carried the guild during the Inter-Guild Display.

Did she care? No. Scarlet never cared about what others said.

"Come on. We’re returning to Floor Zero," she said, shaking the blood off her sword.

"Yes, Vice Guild Leader!" her subordinates echoed. Their voices were a mixture of relief and resignation.

Back in the real world, Doodle announced loudly into his mic:

"Ladies and gentlemen, the Adventurer Guild has decided to drop out of the Tower! It’s officially between the three guilds: Olympus, Broken Dawn, and Martial Palace! Who do you think will come out on top?!"

"To be honest," his co-host muttered, "I knew Sir Broken was powerful, but I honestly didn’t think he would come this far."

"You have to put more respect on Sir Broken’s name!" Doodle snapped. "He’s the only person who keeps shattering all our expectations! I knew from the start he’d reach this far!"

"But do you think he has a chance against Liang and Ares?" the co-host asked with a smirk. "I’m not a hater of Sir Broken, but let’s be honest—we all know the reason he got this far is because of Martial Palace."

"Silly of you to discredit Broken Dawn’s impact as well," Doodle retorted, clearly pissed. "If it wasn’t for Broken Dawn, Martial Palace wouldn’t have gotten this high, and vice versa!"

The co-host smirked even more provocatively. "I still think it’s mainly due to Martial Palace."

"Well, whatever floats your boat, I guess."

Doodle knew these types of people very well... professional rage-baiters who just wanted a reaction.

To maintain his image as the number one gaming host in the industry, he wisely decided to step back.

He shifted his gaze back to the screens.

Right now, both sides stood just outside the door leading to Floor 99.

After the Adventurer Guild forfeited, the three guilds didn’t rush into the next floor unprepared. They were the only ones left; everyone else had either forfeited or been wiped out by the unforgiving Tower.

Outside, those who had stepped out of the Tower had joined the crowd to watch instead of going home to rest.

On the forums, heated debates raged—everyone was speculating who would come out on top.

Liang literally soloed a Duke while smiling. You’re coping.

Olympus has the deepest roster. Experience hype.

If Sir Broken wins I’ll bark fr.

Co-host needs to shut up before Doodle drop-kicks him on stream.

[BloodTowerLoreNerd]:

Statistically? If the next boss is a dual-phase vampire sovereign, Broken Dawn has the best chance. Their DPS burst is insane.

[Anonymous]:

I bet Gabriel is just walking in there like: "Alright, who’s dying first?"

BACK IN THE TOWER

The massive obsidian doors towered above the Broken Dawn guild.

The aura leaking through the cracks alone made the weaker members’ knees tremble.

Even the air felt heavier—like something ancient, something hungry, was waiting just beyond.

Gabriel stood silently at the front, his sword sunk into the ground.

The atmosphere was suffocating but electrifying. Sweat glistened on their faces, and their breaths grew shallow and tight.

Around them, the floor was dead silent—except for the faint rumbling behind the doors... like something breathing.

Doodle swallowed loudly into his mic.

"O-okay everyone... the final three guilds are gathered at the entrance of Floor 99. T-The pressure is insane. Even through the screen, I can feel it!"

His co-host leaned closer. "You feel that? That’s the difference. The top 1% of the top 1%. Only these kinds of monsters make it this far."

Doodle glared. "Stop calling them monsters! They’re legends!"

"Same thing."

"No it’s— You know what? Forget it."

The camera shifted to a wide panel showing the three groups:

Broken Dawn.

Olympus.

Martial Palace.

Right then, the massive twin doors of Floor 99 rumbled... and slowly began to open.

Doodle practically vibrated.

"OOHHH! IT’S STARTING! IT’S STARTING!"

His co-host smirked. "Let’s see if Sir Broken really lives up to the hype."

As the doors fully opened...

All three guilds stepped forward at the same time.

The final race had begun!!!
