God-Tier Extraction Talent: Reincarnated in a Game-like World!
Chapter 70: Massacre at Red Fang City
CHAPTER 70: MASSACRE AT RED FANG CITY
Despite Red Fang City’s poor state, with mostly dilapidated buildings and streets filled with potholes, a single building still managed to stand out.
The church branch.
It was a three-story structure with high, fortified walls built from special materials.
A few low-level knights could be seen patrolling around the walls while two stood at the entrance, watching as members came in and out after a worship session.
Suddenly, the first knight sensed a suffocating amount of killing intent.
Quickly, he turned around, sword drawn, but before he could make a move...
"Die!" Ragnarok99 grinned wickedly as he slashed down the knight, killing him on the spot.
[Ding! You have committed a crime!]
[You are now wanted by the city lord.]
"Heh, who cares." He brushed the message off as if it was nothing and charged toward the nearest knight.
"Attack! Ring the bell! Argh—guuuuuh!" The remaining knight panicked.
An arrow pierced right through the skull of that knight, killing him instantly.
Sniperbowlegend stepped out from where he was hiding, and with monstrous precision, he fired two arrows in quick succession, striking down the knights on the wall.
CLANG! CLANG!
The giant bell at the top of the church sounded, and the noise of several approaching footsteps, like an army, echoed.
"Tch, I still think it would have been much better if we had done this sneakily!" Bunny complained as she fired mana blasts from her iron-ranked staff.

Of course, the damage was minimal, and with her current low level, she knew she needed to be smart to take down the knights.
Sniperbowlegend placed another arrow on his bow and fired again.
FWOOOSH!
The arrow struck between the brows of another knight—an instant kill. He looked at Bunny and said softly, "Stay behind me, I’ll cover you."
"I’m fine, brother." She grumbled under her breath. "If only I had leveled up more before this, I’m sure I’d be able to deal with all these knights."
As a starting village, the knights here were not that powerful to begin with.
Their levels mostly ranged from 2 to 4.
Gabriel knew this, which was why he even dared to assign such a quest to them.
During their herb-gathering quest, they had also leveled up. Currently, Ragnarok99 was Level 3, while Bunny and Sniperbowlegend were Level 2.
Of course, one might argue that their levels were still a little low.
But what they didn’t realize was that in games like this, true player skill and experience mattered more than levels.
And experience? This was something the trio had!
From the roof, Gabriel observed the ongoing fight before jumping down. He fell from over a three-story building, landing with a soft thud.
"Heok! Did he just jump from that height?"
"How is he still standing?"
"Must be a high-leveler."
A group of homeless beggars mumbled among themselves when they saw the crimson-haired youth appear from above as if he had fallen from heaven.
Gabriel ignored their banter.
’This city stinks.’ He thought with a small frown.
Despite its long history and heritage, the Valerian Kingdom still had its bad sides, and Red Fang City was one of them.
It was a tier 5 town, the lowest tier, while places like the capital were tier 1 cities.
Exiting the hallway, he arrived at a merchant who was selling high-grade maps with monster-indicated spots and even a brief guide on the types of monsters that could be found in each area.
After purchasing the map, he quickly returned to the building to watch the massacre unfold.
At the church, a group of knights had rushed out of the gate, all wielding iron-ranked swords.
With how poor this place was, it was virtually impossible for the citizens to be properly equipped.
Even skills weren’t as rampant here as they were in the capital. It was one of the reasons Gabriel was glad he was given a head start in a tier 1 city like the capital.
"Don’t just stand there! Attack the invaders!" one of the knights shouted at the top of his voice.
At the same time, with a mad grin splitting his face, Ragnarok99 lunged forward. He expertly dodged the opponents’ attacks, bashing them with his blunt blade until no one was left standing.
FWOOOSH! FWOOOSH! FWOOOSH!

However, the true menace was Sniperbowlegend, who struck down two to three knights all at once.
Bunny assisted as well, but...
’I feel so useless!’
It was safe to say her contribution was minimal.
From killing the knights, the trio gained experience points.
Ragnarok99 reached Level 4, Sniperbowlegend reached Level 5, while Bunny reached Level 3.
Some time later, they managed to kill all the knights outside.
After Sniperbowlegend retrieved some of his arrows from the dead, they entered the ground floor of the church building, and it instantly felt as if they’d stepped into another world.
The glass windows were painted with images of popes, knights with wings, and angels, and the ground was covered in pristine marble tiles.
They quickly ascended the stairs to the second floor where the congregation was.
Inside, there were only a few adult members, and at the extreme end was the priest—a sickly old man whose face seemed red in anger like a ripe apple.
"Spawns of the demon! We won’t allow you to lay a single hand on our pri—"
Swoosh!
Ragnarok99 clicked his tongue as he cut down the man. "Tsk, such cliché lines. Can’t the developers come up with something more innovative?"
"I guess we’re doing this." Bunny mumbled under her breath. Though this was a game—or so she thought—it still didn’t sit well with her to kill normal civilians.
She knew that if she had selected her starting area in the Demonic Empire, the church would have naturally become an enemy.
After Ragnarok99 killed that first church member, the others pounced at him like wild animals.
Meanwhile, the priest remained standing at the extreme end with a pale expression. Their cardinal was currently on a holy trip; he was the one left in charge.
But the thing was, he wasn’t really a fighter. He was a support-type mage, and with most of the knights already dead, it was virtually impossible for these classless individuals to stand a chance against the otherworlders, who were known for being unkillable.
’Even if I want to buff them up, I can’t as they have no class... this is bad.’ The priest’s gaze turned grim. ’I need to call the city lord for help.’
