God-Tier System: Kill Beasts, Cultivate Forever
Chapter 87: Harry’s Progress
CHAPTER 87: HARRY’S PROGRESS
Harry stood in a somewhat familiar yet unknown place in the middle of a towering mountain range.
It was close to the place where he had been teleported for the first time. The vast expanse of stone and ancient-looking mountains triggered a vague memory—he had seen them before, but most of his focus back then had been on running.
On the ground lay freshly cooled magma. Harry could still feel a slight burning sensation on his legs, but it wasn’t enough to make him uncomfortable.
He had a black sword resting on his shoulder. With a swift swing, he brought it down just as the Behemoths charged at him.
Unsurprisingly, their control over the stone element had evolved with their level. He remembered that terrifying level 9 beast using stone with deadly precision and variation.
These weren’t quite at that level, but they were far more skilled than the Behemoths he had fought until now.
The ground rumbled as two heavy stone chains shot toward him, but Harry sidestepped and sliced through them in an instant.
Meanwhile, the Behemoths used the momentum to close in, trying to pin him down. Harry leapt onto a barrier, dodging their attack.
Before he could find a comfortable position, several stone spikes rained down from the sky.
The area they covered was vast—there was no way Harry could escape.
"I’ve killed hundreds of your kind. You think these useless tricks will work?" Harry laughed.
The spikes closed in at terrifying speed. Harry didn’t even flinch. Just as they were about to hit, the ones closest to him froze in mid-air. The others, farther away, crashed to the ground.
Harry sidestepped and released the barrier that had been holding the spikes in place.
The spikes dropped exactly where Harry had stood just a second earlier.
The beasts were baffled. But they didn’t know—the real battle was just beginning.
Harry vanished into the shadows, his essence reserves now far larger than before. He appeared beneath a Behemoth in an instant.
Combining Qi, body, and soul energy, he delivered a deadly strike. The beast’s hide, which once seemed impossible to pierce, was torn open with a single blow.
The other Behemoth was already preparing his next attacks when one roared in pain, blood gushing from its wounds.
Harry teleported far away, avoiding rattling chains summoned by the second Behemoth.
He pulled out a bow. In a tenth of a second, an arrow lodged itself in the injured area.
Feeling a connection to the blood, Harry manipulated it, tearing the flesh apart. It was as if inverted teeth locked into the flesh.
While the wounded Behemoth cried out in pain, Harry closed in on the other.
Just as a stone chain was about to hit him, he vanished into the shadows and reappeared behind the beast, sending a soul pulse.
"Let’s end this," Harry said, thrusting the Soul Judgement Sword deep into its hide. Leaving the sword embedded, he punched a stone wall that had risen before him.
It shattered with a single hit, rubble crashing down as Harry stepped through the dust cloud, eyes locked on the beast.
With a sudden burst, his punch landed. There was no visible mark, yet the beast recoiled in pain.
His soul energy tore through its defenses. Harry retrieved the sword and clashed with the beast head-on.
The Behemoth snapped its jaws, nearly crushing Harry’s hand. But shadows surged beneath it, creeping up its legs like snakes and locking it in place.
"I told you... it’s time to end this," Harry smirked, driving the sword into its neck.
The beast still lived, but three more strikes ended its life.

He turned around to check on the second Behemoth—it was already on death’s door. Harry, now more proficient with the blood element, could pour more essence into his skills. A welcome boon from leveling up.
His essence had improved exponentially with every level.
He opened his system screen as he waited for the second Behemoth to die.

Harry had fought many brutal battles during this time. His routine was simple—kill, assimilate, rest, kill. A never-ending cycle.
Every Behemoth and Raptor he killed gave him experience, pushing his Qi cultivation higher. Qi cultivation, in turn, enhanced his body.
While the Raptors didn’t contribute much to his soul cultivation, the Behemoths possessed large amounts of soul energy, helping him push it forward.
The battles were anything but easy. He had initially wanted to save stat points to use them more efficiently, but it didn’t take long to realize he wouldn’t survive if he didn’t keep expanding his powers.

Another kill notification appeared.
Harry sat down, feeling the weight of endless battles. His gaze lingered on the corpse—but he already knew. Soul Eater wouldn’t work on them.
During this time, he had figured out why soul eater didn’t work to some corpses.
