Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right
Chapter 1441
Debra pointed at the documents on the desk, the floor, and the sofa.
"All of them?"
"Exactly."
Ben was smiling, but Debra felt chilling. "How can there be so many reports in just a few months?"
Erica and Randy walked in, both carrying stacks of files.
Randy said, "You''re optimistic. There''s moreing."
Erica dropped thest stack of files on the floor. "Can''t we hire more staff? Are we short on cash? Why are the shareholders moving stuff around?"
Jordan, Drake, and Kale brought over more documents.
Drake grumbled, "I''m not a shareholder here. Why should I help you move things?"
Randy pped him on the shoulder. "We''re short on hands right now. You know, Jeffrey poached most of our employees, and now we can''t handle the workload. Besides, Debra promised to help you reform the Lowe Group, didn''t she? Compared to that, this is easy work."
Drake frowned. "Hands off me."
Kale stepped in and removed Randy''s hand from Drake''s shoulder.
Looking at the endless piles of documents, Debra thought about backing out.
"I think my injury might not be fully healed yet." She tried to flee.
Ben blocked her path. "Madam, if you don''t take care of this, thepany will go bankrupt in a few days."
Debra forced a smile. "But didn''t we do fine before? Now that Jeffrey''s out, the Nichols Group is getting along with us. We can ept lower revenues."
"Who said the Nichols Group is getting along with ours?" Ben said seriously. "That''s not true."
He pulled a few files from the piles and said, "In business, there are no real friends. Recently, the Nichols Group has been gearing up tounch a new business model, and they''re moving faster than we are. With Juan leading, they''re already trying to steal our clients. We should fight back."
Randy rushed over and snatched the files. "What the hell? How could he do this?
We saved him, but he is backstabbing us."
Ben exined, "Competition is the
iness. Even if he
he
will.
Osborne, you''re being a bit
?
"What did you say? I''m a shareholder. Do you think I won''t fire you?"
"Actually, you can''t. I work for Mrs. Houston."
Debra had a headacheing on. "Alright, stop arguing. I''ll handle this." For the first time, she felt like being the big boss wasn''t as easy as it seemed. Jordan chimed in, "Why don''t we pitch in together? Should speed things up."
