Grand Dad Is The Pervert God
Chapter 207: God Eros Vs Emperor Kadish.
CHAPTER 207: GOD EROS VS EMPEROR KADISH.
Sir William’s gaze darted between Eros and Prince Kael, the air around the table growing impossibly tense. Eros’s blade was still poised at Christiana’s neck—its edge gleaming faintly under the chandelier’s golden light, close enough that a single breath could draw blood.
Sir William broke the silence, his tone steady but edged with suspicion.
"If what you’re saying is true," he said, eyes narrowing, "and Prince Kael truly is behind Lady Alexis’s illness, then why is your sword pointed at Lady Christiana?"
Eros’s expression didn’t shift—his blade never wavered.
"Because," he said slowly, "this right here... is the missing piece to the puzzle. Do you think that the map given to us of the interior of the dungeon just so happens to have come from the war embrace and her sisters, who claim to have gotten two people that escaped the dungeon. Surely, you know that faking two random deaths is not hard. And those maps were practically useless in the dungeon. They were just bait to lure the familes in."
Eros looked up, his eyes glinting like sharpened steel.
"Of course, there is the other part of how Luke located I and my party in the dungeon. But that aside." His eyes moved back to prince kael with practised precision.
"If it’s true that Prince Kael has been moving in the shadows all this time, then logic dictates he must also have hands and legs moving in the light. Were I in his position, I would have done the same."
He gave a faint, humorless smile.
"And who better for such a role than one of the kingdom’s most promising rising stars—one praised by the court and trusted by the queen herself?"
Sir William frowned. "That still doesn’t make sense, Baron. Lady Christiana is loyal to the Queen."
Eros tilted his head, raising a brow. "Is she? Or do you mean loyal to the Crown?"
A murmur rippled through the table.
Eros took a slow step forward, the edge of his sword still at Christiana’s throat.
"Even if she is loyal to the Crown," he continued, his tone cutting through the room like cold wind, "I reckon she would be far more loyal to her father."
His eyes turned to Kael.
The prince’s youthful face remained calm, but something—just a flicker of emotion—passed through his gaze.
The silence shattered as Monk Jan rose to his feet, stunned.
"You... you mean to say," he stammered, "that the young prince is her father?"
Eros’s smile returned, small and knowing. "He is," he said simply.
He turned his gaze to Kael again, unblinking. "Aren’t you?"
Gasps erupted around the table.
Eros continued, his voice now low, deliberate, and chilling.
"That’s the reason you haven’t moved, isn’t it? The reason your butler stands frozen, the reason your demon guards have yet to draw their blades. This woman—this pawn you planted among the royal knights—is your daughter. Not born of this form you wear now, of course."
Eros’s gaze darkened, his tone laced with accusation.
"No... the body you took before this one. The one from before the fall."
He took a single step forward, pressing the blade closer until a bead of crimson formed on Christiana’s neck.
"Isn’t that right... Third Prince Kael?"
Then Eros’s eyes sharpened like lightning, his words echoing through the stunned silence:
"Or should I say... Emperor Kadish—the last Emperor of the dead empire?"
The amount information Eros had released was a lot to take in.
But all coukd see it. Even now, Prince Kael had refused to move.
If this blade had been pointed at the neck of any other person, he woukd have barely bat an eye. But Christiana was different.
To the world, she was a tool of the Queen. But Eros saw things for what they were.
Of course, there was something else that backed his claim.
Right now, Eros’s eyes were looking at both Prince Kael and Christiana.
He could see it clearly. Others might not, but not him.
Eros was once the God of love and lust. And making love or engaging in lust was the primary result of having children.
Children naturally carried a piece of each parent, and this was not just in genes.
Eros, as a god, coukd clearly see the connection between them. Christiana and Prince Kael glowed in the same light in his eyes.
To be specific, the soul in Prince Kael’s body.
When Queen Eli told the story of the fallen empire and the anchor stones, she had clearly stated that the Emperor of that time refused to die. He used the power of the anchor stones to birth himself again and again into his children.
This was his method of living forever.
While the story had only spoken about his children, was anything truly stopping him from doing it to other people?
Was he only bound by bloodline?
Eros dug deeper into the records that Alaska the threatened left behind.
And what he uncovered was even more amazing.
Only a hand full of very loyal people in the royal court knew of the emperors ability to transfer himself into the next generation.
To the rest of the public, it was recorded as the new born child becoming Emperor.
However, the children at that time, did not know that their father was being reborn into the body of one of their siblings.
And when the coup happened, the emperor had tried to save his life, and instantly transfered out of the body of the child.
The records did not say how he survived, but that he was still out there. And had decided to have pay back on his children for what they did to him.
Over the many years, he has been the reason they fought one another, kingdoms killing each other.
It was all a part of his revenge.
Eros wondered how true Alaska’s words had been.
Now that he saw it, he could boldly confirm that it was not far from the truth.
Only that there was more. After all, Eros who was once a god could clearly see that Emperor Kadish’s soul was gravely wounded.
