CHAPTER 1469: SECRET REVEALED!

From MC’s Perspective:

After closing the status panel, I exited the chamber. Then I saw no one outside.

It shows that the Level-9 Wizard must have gone or someone helped him.

I don’t know whether he reported on me or not.

Then I collected my thoughts before exiting the room. I saw no one in the corridor as well. Then I started going back to my room.

Meanwhile,

Manager Lara, who was in her office, was still in shock. Earlier, she saw the level-9 Wizard Hugo leaving the chamber practice room by crawling.

She wanted to help the level-9 Wizard earlier. Because he was terribly injured. Then she understood something.

If Wizard Hugo wanted he would have asked for help. Instead, he insists on leaving the place by crawling.

She then sees Vincent Carey now. She didn’t know how to react. But she had tried to contact Lord Charlotte.

But the call was not connected. So she has decided to call her again later. Right now, she wants to take some rest.

The things she had witnessed shook her to the core. She needs time to get it out of her head.

As time passes, he continues to heal the broken bones one by one. It didn’t take long for Manager Lara to come as well.

Lara’s heart set off storms. Because she knew she had done this.

"The Silver Tower has been facing problems already. Now this has come. Find out the culprit first," he added.

But he didn’t know Lara was not listening at all. She knew who had done this. She had witnessed the attack as well.

It was one of the magic spells used by Vincent Carey. She started to believe that Vincent Carey is closer to becoming a level-9 Wizard. Today’s duel was the best proof.

The old man is continuing the treatment without turning back. She then told the old man to call her after completing the treatment.

Because the level-9 Wizard Hugo was still unconscious. As an official member of the Silver Tower, he has many privileges. Getting treatment was one of them.

Now she understood why Hugo crawled back to his room. He had a plan in his mind to call him earlier. The old man agreed to call her.

Lara then left the room. She has decided to contact Lord Charlotte once again.

Soon, she returns to the main office. She then tried to call Forbidden Wizard Charlotte again. But this time the call was connected.

On the other side, Charlotte attended the call. She knew something was up. Otherwise, Lara won’t call her.

Manager Lara let out a sigh of relief. She then started to tell what happened between Vincent Carey and the level-9 Wizard Hugo.

At first, Charlotte didn’t react much. But her expression changes as she continues to listen.

A few minutes later,

"Are you sure?" Charlotte asked.

"It’s true. I have recorded footage," Lara replied.

Hearing that Charlotte went quiet. Vincent Carey had beaten a level-9 Wizard half to death before becoming the level-9 Wizard himself.

She knew what it meant. She realises that Vincent Carey is close to becoming the level-9 Wizard.

"Okay, take care of the matter there. I’ll come there later," After saying that Charlotte ended the call.

Lara heaved a sigh of relief. It was quite absurd earlier to believe. Now she thinks Vincent Carey will become a level-9 Wizard before Wizard Seed Celeste.

Today she got a new understanding of Wizard Seed Vincent Carey.

A few hours later,

The header wizard arrived at the lobby and made a call to Lara. She then saw him and paid the fees.

The old man said, "I’ll visit him from time to time to check his condition."

After saying that the old man left the place.

Time passed,

In the evening, Charlotte comes to the Silver Tower. The first thing she did was to visit the office. She went there and saw Lara.

Lara, who was waiting for her, immediately greeted her.

"Show me the footage," Charlotte said.

Lara has already made the arrangements. She started playing the footage. On the huge screen, the scenes of Vincent Carey entering the mana training room appear.

Inside the level-9 Wizard Hugo was already waiting there. Charlotte continued to watch the footage. Lara is watching it with her. She still has the expression of shock on her face.

As time passes, expression on both of their faces changes again. It was the second time for Lara to experience the shock.

Charlotte saw how effortlessly the instant casting of the magic spell was used. It was nothing less than shocking. Next, she saw something more impossible.

The magic spell used by Vincent Carey had flattened the level-9 Wizard to the ground. He wasn’t able to lift his finger. He was completely surpassed by the power of the magic spell.

Her eyes flash with surprise and shock. She then saw Vincent Carey dispelling the magic spell. Then he walked over the body to enter the mana chamber.

Seeing that her mouth twitches.

"This kid," She said with a sigh.

"We were worried for nothing. This kid already has the strength to go against the veteran level-9 Wizard. He must be in the last phase to comprehend the rule power," Charlotte said.

"Lord, why don’t we give him magic treasures," Lara said.

Hearing that Charlotte shakes her head.

She said, "It’s unfair. If others learnt about it, it would cause a problem. Especially if the girl, Celeste, and her family learned about this, it could cause huge problems."

Hearing the name "Celeste" Lara’s expression changes as well. Then Lord Charlotte revealed one more news which shocked her.

"To save Vincent Carey, I had to go against other Forbidden Wizards. No one is supporting Vincent Carey apart from me and Lord Erwin."

"If he does something favourable towards him, it might cause problems," Charlotte said.

Lara was shocked inside. Because she had thought everyone was united against the Wind Elemental Tower. But it appears that it’s not the same.

Charlotte turned towards her and saw through her thoughts.

She said, "You had thought everyone wanted to save Vincent Carey."

Lara nodded to her.

Charlotte said, "You were wrong. Only two of them stood on his side. And we happened to be the strongest as well. They didn’t make things difficult for us."

"Fortunately, the elders returned on time. So that we were able to get out of the problem," She added.

She then thought of something and asked, "What’s wrong with the Wizard Hugo?"

"Why is he targeting Vincent Carey?"

"Vincent Carey wanted to avoid him. But Hugo went to block his path," Charlotte asked.

Lara then recalled when Hugo first returned. He used coercion on Vincent Carey at that time. Because of Hugo’s special privileges, she wasn’t able to do anything to him.

Since Lord Charlotte she decides to tell everything.

A few minutes later,

Charlotte’s eyes turned cold.

She said, "Someone is instructing him. Find out who is behind this?"

Lara agreed to do that.

Charlotte then left the office. Lara then resumed her work.

On the other hand, the Meteor Supreme didn’t have a clue. He was assuming Level-9 Wizard Hugo had done his job.

But he still hasn’t received a call from him. He thinks he will receive it later.

Time passed,

But he didn’t get any call till the night. Meteor Supreme tries to call him. But the call was not connected. He then decides to meet him the next morning.
