CHAPTER 1528: CORE-EATING ARTIFACT!

Inside the Gregor Mansion, I was in the hall sitting on the sofa. There were two bracelets on the table.

One of them belonged to the dead Supreme Wizard and the other one belonged to the dead Forbidden Wizard.

My gaze fell on the bracelet of the Supreme Wizard first. I picked up the bracelet and put my mind into it.

The next second, I could see piles of magic items inside the storage bracelet. My heartbeat started to beat fast. It worked.

As I guessed, being a level-9 Wizard, I can open the Supreme-level storage bracelet.

Then I started to go through the magic items. There were different types of magic items including mana stones and potions. But I couldn’t identify most of the items.

Right now, I need something that can kill the Supreme Wizard. Especially something that can kill Theo Bernard. I can go through the rest of the items some other time.

I started using the system probe function to identify magical items inside the storage bracelet. One after another, the system was saying the results in my mind.

There were magic artifacts. Some of them were active and others were broken. Hearing about the active magic artifacts, my heart filled with curiosity.

I took those magic artifacts outside. I placed them one by one on the wide table. There were 27 Magic Artifacts. These were active magic artifacts.

My heart was stirred. I never expected this many artifacts to be present inside the Supreme-level storage bracelet.

These 27 Magic Artifacts can still be used today. Then I used the system probe function on these 27 Magic Artifacts to collect more information.

The system gave the results. My gaze fell on the panel. I started to go through the information. Soon, I understood that there was a limitation that existed for the magic artifacts.

I can’t use them to attack the Magic Lord and the Forbidden-level Wizards. To hurt them, you may require more energy and powerful magic.

Then I closed the panel. My gaze fell on the 27 Magic Artifacts.

Among them, a few of them appeared to be new. But others were old. Then I asked the system to compare which one would be suitable to kill Theo Bernard.

These 27 Magic Artifacts were of different shapes and sizes. There were weapons and scroll-type artifacts. Only one of the artifacts caught my attention.

Which was the Mirror Artifact. It was a standing-type Mirror Artifact.

Hearing that, I recovered my thoughts and saw the name list on the panel. Among them, the standing mirror was present.

I immediately felt it was the right weapon to use against Theo Bernard. That person himself was evil. His dark corrupted mana wouldn’t work against the evil artifact.

So I started to think it was a blessing in disguise. Then I collected my thoughts. I put the other 26 Magic Artifacts into the system space.

Then I put the 2 storage bracelets into the system space as well, which left behind the Mirror Artifact.

I didn’t look directly in the mirror. I picked up the standing mirror and went to the control room. Zero Puppet was still active in its task.

"Did anyone enter the room?" I asked.

"Master, the room is locked. No one has come so far," Zero replied.

Hearing that, I sighed inwardly. The next second, I brought the standing mirror outside.

Inside the room, the dark corrupted mana tried to enter my body again. But I swept my gaze around. Then I put the standing mirror at the centre of the room.

After doing that, I appeared back inside the Gregor Mansion. The Zero Puppet was still there, standing in front of the mirror.

"Let’s see if the enemy comes here," I uttered.

Then I was looking at the standing mirror from the control mirror here. I’m hoping that it will work.

Time passed,

When it was nighttime, someone opened the door.

"Master, someone is here," Zero Puppet replied.

Hearing that, I turned my attention towards the control mirror.

Theo Bernard walked into the room. His immediate gaze fell on the mirror. He was stunned by the presence of the mirror in the middle of the room.

He had just come back after consuming the meal. He wanted to take a rest now. He didn’t know what happened. But his mind was lost.

He stood there staring into the standing mirror.

The mirror, which was quiet earlier, suddenly had a black whirlpool appear in it. Because Theo Bernard was looking into the mirror.

Both of his eyes turned like a whirlpool. His pupils were large.

As time passed, a black-colored liquid web came from the mirror. It immediately shot at Theo Bernard’s mana core.

The liquid pierced through his body like nothing. But Theo Bernard felt nothing. His eyes were still covered with the black whirlpool.

Inside the Gregor Mansion, I felt goosebumps all over my body. It was the first time for me to look at an evil artifact. It was indeed terrifying.

It appeared something came out of the mirror and it was sucking his mana core right now. Once the mana core was gone, it was the same as death.

"Boss, when did you come?"

All of a sudden, I heard a voice from outside. It was the voice that belonged to the old man. My expression changed drastically.

Swoosh!

The next second, I appeared inside the room. But my back was facing the mirror. I turned towards the door.

I saw it was half opened. I immediately shut the door before the old man could come.
