At this moment, the Diamond Bachelor was of course in the live stream room, still watching this scene along with the comments from others.

However, the Diamond Bachelor didn’t reply to those people’s words right away.

Because, right now, the Diamond Bachelor was furiously raging in real life.

“Ahhhhh! Damn it!!! It’s all your fault! Because of you, I chose the wrong person!!!”

Inside a super luxurious villa room,

a very beautiful girl wearing revealing clothes stood with her hands on her hips, scolding a middle-aged woman.

After scolding until she was out of breath, the girl waved her hand and let the middle-aged woman off.

It was obvious that the girl was the owner of the villa, while the middle-aged woman was a servant hired by her family.

And this was not an ordinary master-servant relationship.

After all, even if you are my boss and scold me like this for so long, once I lose my temper, I can just quit!

But the middle-aged woman had been scolded for so long, yet she kept her head lowered and admitted her fault without any resentment.

It seemed she was already used to it. Maybe the beautiful girl paid her too well. She wasn’t bowing to her; she was bowing to the money.

After the middle-aged woman left, only the girl remained in the luxurious pink princess room.

The girl sat in front of a large display screen, feeling extremely miserable.

The misery made her flail her hands and feet constantly, her long hair flying wildly.

“At first, I wanted to pick Wang Xixi from that band! But I recklessly chose Jiang Ran! I’m going to get slapped in the face!!!!”

The girl was in utter agony.

Only six people had bet on Jiang Ran.

Then, who was this girl among those six?

She was the Diamond Bachelor.

Everyone in the live stream room assumed the Diamond Bachelor was a man and quite old.

Unexpectedly, the Diamond Bachelor was actually a young woman!

And she was a stunning beauty just barely over twenty, with a face that could make fish sink and birds fall.

At the start, her extremely accurate sixth sense told her to choose Wang Xixi, but she was disturbed by that middle-aged woman just now, causing her to pick the wrong person.

In this game, once you pick the wrong person, you can’t change it.

That was why she was so furious.

Her sixth sense was very accurate.

Accurate to one hundred percent.

Others in the live stream only knew the Diamond Bachelor sometimes slipped up, losing little but winning much.

But what they didn’t know was that those few losses were all intentional.

She deliberately ignored her sixth sense and instead chose based on her own analysis of each round’s test subjects.

The result was her analysis was totally wrong, but her sixth sense was spot on.

Therefore, afterwards, she completely trusted her sixth sense.

And to maintain her first place ranking in the game, she always followed her sixth sense’s choice.

But this time, she accidentally picked wrong.

Not only that, she chose the test subject most likely to die first.

She didn’t care about the 580,000 lost — 580,000 was nothing; even if it were 5.88 million or 58.88 million lost, she wouldn’t care.

What she cared about was her ranking.

After raging for a long time, she finally accepted reality.

“Fine, I’ll accept fate. At worst, I lose this round. Anyway, I’m still the undisputed number one. Just don’t pick wrong next time.”

This beautiful girl known as the Diamond Bachelor sat stubbornly in front of the computer, watching the live stream showing Jiang Ran and the old man, while others in the live stream kept tagging her.

She almost couldn’t hold back and spat out a curse.

“Jiang Ran, Jiang Ran, even if you can’t survive till the end, at least fight for me a little, okay?! Don’t die first! Do I have no dignity?!”

...

Alice Apartment.

“Young man, you’re a new tenant, right?”

The old man from Room 301 looked back at Jiang Ran.

Jiang Ran nodded, “Yes, I just moved in, and then you came right away.”

The old man in Room 301 smiled, “Yeah, I can tell you’re a warm-hearted good person, unlike those in 302 and 303. They’re so cold. When an old man like me needs help, they act like they don’t even see it. For example, just now, I knocked on your door first, then on theirs, and they all pretended to not be home.”

He was very upset.

Scratching the back of his head, Jiang Ran glanced at the tightly closed doors of 302 and 303.

“Maybe they really aren’t home? Maybe they went to work.”

The old man was still quite angry. “Heh heh, young man, you just came and don’t know them well. Once you get to know them, you’ll see I’m telling the truth.”

The old man from Room 301 led Jiang Ran to his apartment, opened the door, and walked in.

Once inside, Jiang Ran couldn’t help but sigh at the antique decoration style. “Old man, your place really has that old-time charm.”

The old man chuckled, “Heh heh heh, I just like ancient architectural styles, so when it came to decorating, I had my kids do it this way.”

“Old man, do I need to change into slippers?”

“No need, young man, just come right in.”

“Alright, old man, which light bulb do you need replaced?”

“Oh, the one in the living room.”

Jiang Ran stepped into the living room first. The old man glanced at Jiang Ran’s back, closed the door, and stood there for several seconds as if locking it. Whatever he did, he gave a cold smile before returning to normal.

He then followed Jiang Ran into the living room.

Jiang Ran examined the light bulbs overhead in the living room.

First, he tested to see if they really didn’t work.

After testing, he found that out of the four bulbs, three needed replacing.

Then he noticed several spare bulbs on the sofa.

He took them, pushed over a table, stood on it, and prepared to replace the bulbs.

While replacing, Jiang Ran chatted with the old man.

“Old man, do you live here alone? What about your family?”

The old man sat on the sofa, watching Jiang Ran change the light bulbs, smiling as he said,

“I’m the only one living here. My wife passed away long ago. After my children got married, they started their own families and don’t want this old man anymore.”

Hearing the old man’s sad tone, Jiang Ran said, “At least you still have a place to live and don’t have to worry about food and drink. If it’s like this, your children are quite filial.”

Unexpectedly, after Jiang Ran said this, the old man suddenly burst out cursing.

“Young man, you don’t understand! I bought this house with my own money! My children didn’t pay a cent! Now I eat and drink with my own pension. Them giving me money? They’ve sucked a lot of money out of me!!!!”

The old man angrily tapped the floor repeatedly with his cane, making Jiang Ran feel extremely awkward.

But finally, the light bulbs were replaced quickly.

“Old man, the light bulbs are all replaced.”

Jiang Ran flipped the switch and showed the old man the newly replaced bulbs shining brightly.
