YUNO was already out of breath after arguing with Jericho for something so stupid.

To be honest, he didn’t really remember what started the ’fight.’

"We were being childish," Jericho said, and then he laughed. "It doesn’t matter who the official #1 World Ranker is anyway. It’s not like the System gives rewards for World Rankers."

"Right?" Yuno agreed, sighing. "I’m sorry for getting worked up, Hyung-nim."

"I’m sorry, too. I just take too much pride in my Esper being the #1 World Ranker."

"To be fair, both Gayoon Hyung and 17-nim are burdened by the responsibility of saving the world. So, I don’t think this is the appropriate time to decide who the #1 World Ranker truly is."

"You talk as if there will be an appropriate time for that."

"Well, once we deal with the enemies and peace returns to our new normal, then maybe Gayoon Hyung and 17-nim can have a proper duel," Yuno said, shrugging. "I mean, I’m still curious who’s the stronger one between them is."

"Oh, same here," Jericho said, and then he extended his hand to Yuno. "Let’s make Ki Gayoon and 17 fight later."

"Sure, Hyung-nim," Yuno said as he shook the other Guide’s hand. "Let’s do that."

And after making that pact (without their respective Espers’ consent)...

"H-Hyung, can we come in?"

Oh, that was Kim Jaeha’s voice.

Yuno could feel the other’s presence as well.

Kwon Hojun and the Gu Twins are also there.

"Yes, come in," Yuno said. "The barrier won’t hurt you."

Hence, the kids and the Gu Twins managed to enter the room safely.

"Madam, how did you know?" Gu Inkyu asked curiously. "Did you gain an ability that lets you see the matching rate of an Esper and a Guide?"

"That’s so cool, Madam," Gu Inwoo said. "Now we have more reasons to protect you."

"Why do they call you ’Madam?’" Jericho asked curiously. "It sounds like you’re the wife of a mafia... oh, right. Ki Gayoon is known for having a company that acts like a crime syndicate."

The Gu Twins glared at Jericho who just smiled ’innocently.’

Yuno was about to ask the twins to stop glaring when he heard another knock on the door.

"Madam, it’s me."

"Woonhak Hyung-nim," Yuno greeted the person whose voice he instantly recognized. "Please come in."

A moment later, the handsome Lee Woonhak entered the room.

As usual, Woonhak Hyung-nim looks stoic.

But Yuno could also see the urgency on the B-Class Healer’s face.

"Madam, Osaki Shohei is already awake."

It only took a second for Ki Gayoon to realize what Lee Sarang wanted them to see. "They surround the HoneyMoon Convenience Store."

"Yuyu doesn’t live on the second floor of my store anymore, but that’s still his registered address," Moon Noa said, sighing. "They’re sending a message to Yuyu, aren’t they?"

The air inside that shield was filled with purple like little clouds.

"Woonhak Hyung-nim, whatever happens, don’t get rid of your barrier," Yuno said nervously. "We’ll get in trouble if the viruses get out since we don’t know about them..."

He trailed off when his Status Window popped up in front of them.

[Guide Noh Yuno, the System would like you to absorb the virus in order for us to analyze what it is exactly.]

What the fuck?

Yuno let out a sigh while combing his fingers through his hair. "Am I your guinea pig?"
