CHAPTER 282: A KILLER HINT

YUNO had questions for Osaki Shohei, but he got distracted when the ground suddenly shook.

When he looked over his shoulder, he was shocked to see Ki Gayoon punching the barrier.

"This is my punishment," Osaki Shohei said, smiling bitterly. "I chose my greed over the safety of our world. I knew Ni-ki was suspicious, but I allowed myself to be fooled. All because I was desperate for Haru’s love."

"Well, you don’t owe the world anything."

"Huh?"

"I’m saying you shouldn’t be too hard on yourself just because you chose yourself over the world."

Osaki Shohei blinked slowly as if he couldn’t understand what Yuno was saying.

"Noh Yuno, I aided the enemies who wanted to eliminate all the Civilians in the world."

"Yeah, I know. I was listening, sir," Yuno said, wondering why Osaki Shohei had to remind him of what they were talking about. "I don’t see anything wrong with that because I often hear Gayoon Hyung say that he’ll burn the world for me. It’s the same, right? People will die if Gayoon Hyung burns the world, after all. "Please tell Moon Noa to take care of Haru, or else, I’ll haunt him to death."

"Calm down, sir. You can’t haunt someone when you’re still alive..."

I have a bad feeling about this.

"Noh Yuno, I lied earlier."

"Stop," Yuno said, covering Osaki Shohei’s hand. He knew that direct skin contact with an infected person was bad, but he couldn’t help it. "I’ve seen this happen before. You must be under the ’Oath of Silence’ if you had to lie earlier. You’ll die if you say anything more than what you’ve already said, right?"

Name-dropping Ni-ki was probably not something that the enemies were trying to hide since Osaki Shohei wasn’t punished when he mentioned that name.

Honestly, Yuno had a feeling the enemies wanted him to know that Ni-ki was still alive.

"You have to live, Shohei-nim," Yuno said firmly. "I know hurting Sajangnim won’t make Haru-nim love you. But, at least, sabotage their relationship a bit. Be a villain. Get your petty revenge. Just don’t die like this. Please."

Osaki Shohei grabbed Yuno’s wrist and forcefully pried his hand away from his mouth.

Why is he so strong?

"They are planning to turn our world into a huge feeding ground for monsters."

As soon as Osaki Shohei said that, he coughed up blood.

"Stop it, Shohei-nim."
