CHAPTER 108: CHAPTER 107: SWAYING CAR

Seeing the pair of Yukino mother and daughter, whom he hadn’t seen in what felt like ages, Roland’s heart surged with longing.

Objectively speaking, they had only been apart for two days—hardly a long time, right?

So why did their desire to see each other feel as intense as if they had been separated for centuries?

Roland could clearly see pink hearts sparkling in the Yukio and Haruno eyes as they gazed at him with longing, lust, greed... and some craziness.

He wasn’t the only one who noticed. Passing students also spotted the stunning pair of mother and daughter in the car, they could clearly see the mother and daughter eyes shining with affection as they patted the seat beside them, gesturing for an unfamiliar boy to come over.

Damn it, that scene is way too tempting! Who is that guy? Not only is he standing with one of the school’s two goddesses, but he’s also getting treated like this by another pair of women whom seem like a pair of mother and daughter? Is he eating our dream oyakodon too!! I’m so jealous!

"Hurry up and come over~," Yukio said, her breath misting in the air as she patted the seat beside her.

After two days apart, she was already desperate to replenish her "Little Roland energy"!

So get on the damn car already!

Hurry up and give your Yukio what she wants!

"Um... Yuki, could you help me support Karena?" Roland asked, feeling awkward about directly rejecting Yukio’s fervent invitation.

Roland also craved Yukio’s affection, so he simply pushed Karena, who had collapsed into his arms, over to Yuki. Under Karena’s resentful gaze, he scurried into the car backseat, slammed the door shut, and blocked the curious stares of passersby with rolling up the tinted windows.

"Roland! You bastard!" Karena’s body still trembled slightly, the vibrations having left her too weak to stand straight. Yet her so called husband had abandoned her to tend to another woman—it was infuriating!

"Sigh... Are you alright, Karena?" Yuki felt helpless about Roland’s relationship with her mother, but there was nothing she could say now.

After all, she hadn’t been idle these past two days. Her mother and elder sister had subjected her to a relentless brainwashing session one after another.

The message was always the same: how crucial Roland was to their family, how blissful life would be with him, and attempts to forcibly twist her values to accept the idea of sharing him with them.

They almost convinced her...

After all, she had always been drawn to Roland.

"Huff... I’m fine, just a little unsteady," Karena said, reluctantly leaning on Yuki to keep from collapsing.

The two women were roughly the same height, with Karena being slightly taller. As they leaned against each other, they instantly became the most captivating sight on the street, drawing the gazes of passersby. So engrossed were the onlookers that no one noticed the car beginning to sway gently.

"You wouldn’t be wearing that little toy he gave you too, would you?" Yuki asked, observing Karena’s efforts to keep her legs pressed together, as if she had guessed something.

"Too? Does that mean you’re also...?" Karena’s eyes widened in surprise.

Although Karena knew Yuki was her romantic rival and had a close relationship with Roland, she still considered Yuki, despite her sharp tongue, to be pure when it came to such matters. Surely she wouldn’t be wearing something like that too?

"No, you misunderstand. I’m not the one wearing it," Yukino explained calmly.

"Could it be someone from... your family too?" Karena glanced thoughtfully at the gently swaying car. It seemed her earlier suspicions with her mother had been correct—the entire Yukino family had fallen to the path of absolute debauchery.

"It seems our families are in the same situation," Yuki remarked, sensing from Karena’s words that the Kaur family’s circumstances were likely no different from their own.

In other words, two families were now freely available for Roland to pluck and savor. How did that man even manage to achieve such a thing?

Upon closer reflection, it made sense. The feelings both families harbored for Roland had long since veered into the abnormal territory.

Perhaps their current situation wasn’t an unexpected turn of events, but rather a natural consequence of their intertwined destinies.

"Speaking of which," Karena said, leaning against Yuki, "we’re supposed to be rivals now, right? Is it really okay for us to be hugging like this?"

Logically, as rivals, they should be glaring at each other with jealousy, with bolts of electricity travelling through their eyes.

Yet Roland had abandoned them, to go enjoy his own bliss in the car backseat now and they are nearly hugging each other.

What kind of man is that?

But setting aside their rivalry, Karena and Yuki were actually very close friends.

Their families had known each other for years, and Karena and Yuki were nearly the same age, with similar personalities—both were sharp-tongued and never held back.

But the most important reason for their friendship was Yuki’s love of reading and Karena’s status as an author.

Though Karena wrote light novels, a genre Yuki typically avoided, their close bond led Yuki to delve into Karena’s works. This shared literary passion transformed them into inseparable, book-loving confidantes.

Now that they were suddenly being forced into the roles of rival lovers, Karena’s feelings were quite complicated at the moment.

"I don’t think it matters anymore whether we’re rivals or not," Yuki said, shaking her head. "With how things have developed, it’s hard to predict what kind of messy relationship we’ll end up with."

She no longer believed Roland would spare either of their families women.

Even if her family won, there was no guarantee the Kaur family wouldn’t secretly try to undermine them later.

The reverse was equally true.

Moreover, since the both parties been intimate with Roland, Yuki doubted he could abandon either of them if both parties bellies started to swell.

In her view, any further efforts were pointless. They might as well let that bastard do whatever he wanted.

After all... as long as she had a place in his future plans, that was enough.

"You’re remarkably open-minded," Karena remarked, intrigued. "But today is your arranged meeting with him. You wouldn’t mind if I kept him occupied the whole time?"

"Well... let’s not worry about ’yours’ and ’mine’," Yuki replied. "Let’s just share him." Clearly, she still couldn’t bring herself to give Roland up entirely, so she proposed they simply share him instead.

Yuki didn’t believe Karena would truly stay away from Roland when it was her turn to go on a date with him.

Wouldn’t she just show up and start flirting with Roland even if her date was going well?

If that’s the case, why bother dividing him up? We might as well all go on dates with him together, so there wouldn’t be need to worry about back stabbing!

"Together... that could work. What about tonight too?" Karena considered it and, seeing the logic, agreed to Yuki’s suggestion.

"Tonight won’t work. My mother wants me to bring Roland home tonight."

"True enough. Then let’s do this: we’ll share him at school during the day, and at night, we’ll take turns bringing him home. Sound good?"

"I have no objections."

"Great, it’s settled then! I’m also curious to see what our usually aloof Yuki will be like when she’s smiling at Roland," Karena teased.

Yuki couldn’t help but blushed a little.

If we’re all together, that means we’ll have to be affectionate and even have to sex in front of each other... It feels so weird and awkward just to imagine.

But she had to admit, this was the best solution for now. So, she decided to go along with it.
