"The Princess Heir has returned to the capital, and the Duke is expected to head back to Lowellina soon," Viscon stated.

This news signified that the main storyline had officially shifted to the Demon Army front, confirming Lin’s suspicions. He had hoped, however unlikely, that they might visit the Elven Forest, but such hopes were now completely dashed.

According to Lucy, her temporary Holy Sword wasn’t fully under her control yet, so she wasn’t fully prepared either.

In the Demon Army front episode, there would be consecutive battles against the Four Heavenly Kings, a classic trope in games. In this world, the Demon Lords held positions similar to the Four Heavenly Kings, meaning the hero’s party would have to face three consecutive battles against them.

Normally, there would have been four, but since Rabin was no longer a member of the Demon Lords, they were one battle short.

While this was a significant achievement, Lin’s concerns ran deeper. The three consecutive battles were only a game mechanic. In reality, the battles would occur simultaneously on three different fronts: the northern desert region, the central battlefield in the reed fields, and the southern jungle.

Lin had a clear reason to head to the northern desert himself. Just before the battle, the land he had prepared for the elves was located there. That area had originally been barren desert, but by now, it might have changed. He needed to see for himself the results of the seeds he had planted a year ago.
