CHAPTER 234: BUNDLE OF SURPRISES

Patrick barely waited till the lock was turned when he pounced on Donnie, opening up his robe to expose his very full nectar gland and latching on to the nearest nipple.

Donnie felt a sudden relief of pressure as Patrick began to drink from his left nipple. After a couple of minutes, Patrick switched to the right to make sure that they were balanced out.

Patrick realized just how rich it was when a sudden buildup occurred and he belched out loud, causing Donnie to laugh.

"Boy, I tell you one thing, that’s going to be one lucky little boy when he gets to taste these bad boys here." Patrick wiped his mouth. "I knew Genmen nectar was rich, but wow. I’m going to have to be very cautious or I’m going to gain weight right along with you."

Donnie leaned forward at the same time he gently pulled Patrick’s lips to his and kissed his nectar-encrusted lips. "No Patrick, I’m the lucky one. I’m free, I have a wonderful person who seems to like me and has given me his child. I’m the lucky one."

Patrick rolled over on top of Donnie and gently raised his thighs, nestling his cock deep into his vent that belonged to his new lover. "Baby, I’m looking at this right here—this is all that any man needs in his life. My pregnant mate and the child that he carries for me."

---

Jason and Jim were sitting on the sofa together when Mr. Zack entered the room after first buzzing. There was no doubt that Jim had done his job—Jason was all over him, sitting in his lap. As Jim held him tight, Jason giggled and whispered, "You need to wait a couple of minutes until Mr. Zack gets out of the room, then we can do it again because there’s one thing I definitely won’t ever get tired of, and that’s riding on you."

Zack looked over and shook his head. "Well, I don’t have to ask how things went for you two young men." He paused, observing their closeness. "I want to give y’all about thirty minutes to get a little bit of the passion out of your system, then I want you cleaned and dressed in your robes so that we can take a small tour of the Museum. Everyone needs to know exactly where the Genmen originated from and how they came here, and what was done to you and others is very wrong. And I’m going to need your help to put an end to the atrocities being performed by the corporations."

Jason looked up with determination. "Anything you need, Mr. Zack, I will do my best to make sure that no one else is put in the situation that I was. No one deserves to have happen to them what befell me."

"Okay, wait until I get out of the room, then you hop back on." Zack headed toward the door. "Because believe me, I’ve been in the same situation that Jim is in before, and it’s wonderful."

Zack left the room and headed down to Lex’s laboratory to get the test ready for Lonnie and Donnie.

---

Zack knocked on the door and his grandson responded, "Come on in, grandfather. It’s always open for you."

Zack entered the office and hugged his grandson, reminding him just exactly how important his work was to the entire Z1 family. "Don’t you think it’s about time that you and Chris worked on another little one, just to keep up appearances?"

"Well, I haven’t told you yet, but I’m two and a half months along." Lex shifted in his chair. "Chris has been talking about starting another family member, and I knew I had not been feeling on the top of my game, so I ran a test and surprise—I guess we slipped up. I know that we had everything planned to do in the future, but sometimes Genmen babies have their own plans and make the best surprises."

Zack hugged his grandson even more firmly. "So when are you going to tell Christopher that he’s going to be a father again?"

"Well, I kind of chickened out on the face-to-face approach because I messed up." Lex grinned sheepishly. "I had breakfast delivered to him today, and underneath the plate there’s a photo of the scan that I ran. So as he starts to move his food around, it’s going to be exposed just like I was. I know he’s going to be happy, but he wants me to scale my work schedule back. I know it means a lot, but what I do here is very important, and I intend to have my career and my family—I won’t choose one over the other, both are too important. I will start delegating some work out to other individuals that I’ve trained, plus Chris is going to pick up some slack."

There was a loud knock at the door. "I’m glad you’re here, grandfather. Sounds like Chris just found out." Lex called out, "Come on in, the door’s open."

Chris opened the door, stuck his head in, and asked, "Is this a good time?"

"No time better than the present to get everything out in the open," Zack replied.

Chris held up the picture with "oops I did it again" written across the bottom. "Would you care to explain this to me, or do I just take it for face value?"

Lex looked at the ceiling and then back at Chris. "You know, a while back I wasn’t feeling wonderful, but I thought it was just from being run down from spending too many hours here at the clinic and lab and everywhere else on call. Well, that’s the reason I’ve been tired—it seems that you and I made a baby, and he didn’t make himself known until I felt him kick." He took a breath. "I’m scaling back my work, but I’m not quitting, and that means you have to pick up some slack around here because we have too many projects going on right now. I feel fine and he’s in a very good place—I’m carrying just where I need to be. Congratulations, Chris, you’re going to be a father again."

Chris was overjoyed. He walked up to Lex, tilted his head back, and kissed him. "I could never be upset at you, and we all know how Genmen babies love to surprise people. With a healthy sexual appetite like we both have, I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner, but we were being careful. So I think I need to throw out all those condoms we have and wait to get fresh ones right before you deliver."

Zack stood up, walked over to his grandson and his mate, hugged them both, and congratulated them.

---

Lex’s communicator started beeping an emergency tone—it was the cryo-lab. They had an event happening, actually two events.

Lex was walking along with his grandfather and Chris to the cryo-lab when the side door opened up and Earl, along with his brother Nordstrom, came in, also headed to the lab.

"Lex, we got the beep too, both of us. They said for both of us to report to the lab. Is everything okay?" Earl asked with concern.

"Well Earl, it looks like you’re about to have an arrival, both of you." Lex quickened his pace. "It’s going to be a little bit of a process since they’re both coming out at the same time. Basically, Chris is here so he can help, but I’ll need both of you on hand. We don’t know exactly how they’re going to handle everything because with all the malfunctions of their pods, I don’t know if they were oxygen starved or oxygen enriched. I have no idea until they start coming out of their fog of extended life support. We’re just going to have to handle this together."

Nordstrom was very nervous. He hoped that everything was all right with Sheridan. He had his husband’s St. Patrick’s medallion around his neck and was holding on to it tightly. Unbeknownst to his brother, Earl was also wearing Shannon’s St. Patrick’s medal.

---

Shannon was the first one to start coming out of his deep slumber. The first face he saw was Earl’s. He placed his hand up on the glass that separated him and the love of his life. Earl placed his hand also on the glass, then kissed the front as though he was kissing Shannon, who returned the gesture.

Sheridan wasn’t having an easy time coming out of the fog—he was combative, beating on the glass and kicking the tube. But when he saw Nordstrom’s face and his hand laying upon the glass of his tube, it seemed to calm him a little bit. But the latch was not releasing, and the suction level in the pod was low.

Earl remembered the boys talking about an emergency release—they just had to get Sheridan to push the lever from the inside at the same time that they pressed the button on the outside of the unit. After the fifth attempt, everything finally lined up and the two pods popped open.

Lex swooped in and applied a temporary oxygen line to Sheridan’s face. After a few deep breaths, he began to settle down. Chris helped Sheridan out of the pod and onto a gurney so he could relax.

Earl waited his turn, and the automatic lock popped on Shannon’s tube. As the door opened, Lex was right there with the oxygen tubes to help Shannon along. Zack helped the young man out of the tube and had him sit on the gurney and gently lie down.

Earl was beside himself, making a big fuss over Shannon. "Just lie here and relax. The worst is over, but the best is yet to come."

Shannon removed his mask for a second. "Are the boys okay?"

"Yes, they are, and they’ll be glad to see you when you’re up and around," Earl responded. "I have so much to tell you, but right now I need you to get stronger and we can go home—to our house."

"Where are we? On the station? I don’t recognize this," Shannon asked, looking around confused.

"We’re no longer on the station. We are a long way from where the station ever was—on a planet that has become our home and will become yours also." Earl took his hand. "We have a couple of new family members you need to meet, but that’s in due time. I want you to gain your strength because you need to learn to process and to walk again. You were in hibernation for a very long time."

Shannon and Sheridan were both confused about how long they’d been out and where they were, but they were tired. Lex had gotten them a nutritional drink that was enriched with Genmen nectar so that it could start repairing their bodies so that they could start life once again.

"Now take gentle sips of these. Don’t drink it all at one time or it’ll make you sick to your stomach," Lex instructed. "It’s my special concoction, but it seems to help."

Shannon looked at Sheridan and smiled. "Looks like we made it, both of us. We have truly been blessed."

"Earl, I’m going to leave these two fine gentlemen here in your and Nordstrom’s capable hands." Lex gathered his equipment. "I have a couple of pregnancy tests to run on a couple of new arrivals, so without any more fanfare, we’ll let you get reacquainted. In fact, we’re all going to leave."
