CHAPTER 175: CHAPTER 175 ALEXA WEDDING (1)

Bella sat at the breakfast table with a slice of buttered toast in her hand, quietly munching as Jay scrolled through his phone beside her, humming a little tune. Across from her, Leonardo sat with his usual straight posture, spooning his coffee without a single unnecessary movement—calm, unreadable, and as annoying as ever.

Bella took a quick glance at him, just a tiny peek while pretending to sip her juice. Hmph. Still too handsome. His black shirt from yesterday was gone, replaced with a Gray one today, and his hair was still damp from his morning shower, a few strands falling perfectly across his forehead.

Then, Leonardo looked up casually and spoke, "Stylists are coming in half an hour."

Bella blinked. "Half an hour?!"

Before she could say anything else, Leonardo calmly returned to eating his breakfast.

She stared at him.

She really wanted to insult him again like yesterday—"Ciao, bellissimo!"—but she had completely forgotten how to pronounce it.

She puffed her cheeks and sulked quietly, mentally crying. Nooo... my weapon... it’s gone...!

Jay looked at her from the corner of his eye and smirked, clearly enjoying her internal struggle.

Half an hour later, the stylist team arrived at the mansion. Bella went along with them without fuss, already used to the process after a few events like this. But today’s stylist was different—an older woman with silver hair, bright pink glasses, and a voice like warm honey.

She had the kindest smile and talked while working, cracking little jokes that made Bella giggle nonstop.

"You have such a beautiful face, dear. I don’t even need to cover anything up," the woman said while gently dabbing cream on her cheeks.

Bella smiled shyly. "Thank you..."

"You remind me of my granddaughter," the woman laughed, handing Bella a few clean brushes. "Here, keep your hands busy, or you’ll start biting your nails."

Bella happily took the brushes and twirled them in her fingers like magic wands, chatting softly with the sweet stylist while getting her makeup done.

And when everything was finished... she stood up and looked at herself in the mirror.

She blinked.

The peach dress Leo had picked for her... it actually suited her really well.

It wasn’t too revealing, not at all. The soft color matched her skin perfectly, the fit was gentle and elegant, and the light shimmer in the fabric caught the sunlight when she moved.

Her makeup was light, natural, and glowing. Her lips looked soft and pink. Her cheeks had just the right hint of blush.

Her dark brown hair had been left open, falling in smooth waves over her shoulders, and they made her look a little older... a little more beautiful.

And instead of heels, they had given her a pair of beige flats—simple, comfortable, and perfect.

Bella turned from side to side slowly.

"...He actually has good taste," she whispered under her breath, half surprised.

She didn’t want to admit it. But Leo... might actually know what looked good on her.

When Bella stepped carefully down the stairs, her fingers brushing along the railing.

She paused on the last step, her breath catching just slightly.

Jay stood by the hallway mirror, fixing his cuffs. He looked absolutely adorable in a soft pink suit that matched his candy-pink hair perfectly. He even had a tiny silver pin shaped like a strawberry on his lapel. Bella almost giggled. He looked like a walking dessert.

But then her eyes shifted And landed on him.

Leonardo.

He was standing near the table, adjusting the buttons of his black suit jacket with calm, practiced fingers. The suit hugged his tall frame like it had been stitched for him by magic. The sharp collar, the clean white shirt underneath, the watch on his wrist—all of it made him look like a king who could ruin you with just one look.

His black hair was brushed back slightly, a few strands still falling forward messily like he didn’t care. His jaw was clean-shaven, his cheekbones sharp, and when he turned slightly, the sunlight hit his features just enough to make her stomach twist.

Bella blinked.

Her heart did a tiny jump. And she quickly looked down at her flat shoes to scold it.

Leo glanced at her once, eyes trailing over her peach dress without saying a word.

No compliment.

But his gaze lingered... just a second too long.

Then he turned away and picked up his phone from the table, like it was just any normal day.

Bella stood frozen at the last step, cheeks quietly burning.

Hmph. He probably didn’t even notice. Bad guy. Still hot though.

Jay twirled dramatically and flashed her a grin. "Bella Bell~ look at us! I’m the strawberry candy, and Leo’s the dark chocolate villain. Perfect match, right?"

Bella laughed softly and nodded, trying not to stare again at the villain in the black suit.

Inside the car, Jay had already claimed the front passenger seat, humming along with the soft music playing from the speakers. His pink hair caught the morning light, and he was busy typing something on his phone, probably updating his story for the day.

In the backseat, Bella sat next to Leonardo, her little iPad balanced carefully on her lap. She kept her eyes glued to the screen, tapping occasionally, pretending to scroll through something very important—anything to avoid looking at the man sitting just inches away from her.

Hmph. I don’t need to stare at him today. I came prepared.

She even crossed one leg over the other and turned slightly away from him, like her whole body had signed an anti-Leo contract for the day.

But Leonardo wasn’t fooled.

While the ride continued in soft silence, he kept glancing at her from the corner of his eye. She looked small and serious, her fingers tapping the screen gently, her peach dress flowing softly around her knees. A few strands of her hair had fallen forward again, and she kept tucking them behind her ear without realizing it.

She was focused. Quiet. And very, very cute.

He didn’t say anything.

Just watched her.

As if she were something far more interesting than anything outside the window.

Bella, feeling his gaze for the third time, puffed her cheeks without looking up. Why is he staring? Did I grow bunny ears?

After a while, the car slowed down.

And finally... they arrived.
